I can’t help with headlights info, but I have a 2015 3 and did the LED Interior, reverse, license plate and parking lights upgrade. Really pretty easy and much better light all around. I used these and they all are still working great:

It’s not hard to do and there are very good videos on youtube to guide you, like this one:

I am currently looking at these for the turn signals too:

Super deep and loud sound - videos online don't do it justice, its unbelievably loud when the baffles are out. Had to have the cat cut out of it. Be aware they have a cat in the V section before the end of the pipe.
Removed the snorkel covering the airbox - I was told its basically blocks airflow.

I removed the passenger pegs, needed a bracket to hold the brake fluid reservoir - also cleaned up the pegs
Havent done the brakes yet - going to replace the lines etc with steel braid.
Also want to do a sprocket / chain swap for acceleration
I used a quadlock phone mount for a little bit - but took it off because I was playing with my phone too much.
I owned a Crosstrek for a little over theee years. While I had it, it was a pretty great car. I hauled over 20,000lbs. of landscaping stones in that sucker over a 2 month period.
The first big complaint I have about it is that it’s pretty unfriendly to modding. Several of my buddies had other Subaru models and they did nifty things like add cold air intakes and racing tuned computer chips. Sadly, the Crosstrek couldn’t really do any of that so I was stuck with the stock 148 horse power engine. If you’re not really into that scene, it’s a fine car.
The second complaint I have is that the MPG #s they advertise are not accurate. My car was supposed to be 26 city/32 highway. I saw a lifetime average of 23 city/27 highway. Kind of a bummer. You might consider the hybrid if it’s within your budget.
I do have another less important gripe. The CVT automatic transmission robs that car of some power. Even if you get the model with paddle shifters like I did, it just isn’t that responsive. But let’s be realistic... if you’re buying a Crosstrek that you can’t really mod, you’re probably not looking for more power in you mid-high range.
I do have some advice if you do end up going with the Crosstrek (and to be clear, besides those relatively minor gripes, it’s a great car).
Anyhow, I’d be happy to answer any other questions you may have about my experience with that car. It was mostly good and I’d recommend it to someone looking at the crossover size range.
*edit: a number of people have asked for the LED link so I figured it might be easier to post it here:
It’s worth noting though that the kit I bought is no longer available. The one I list below is compatible with my model year of Crosstrek (2015) according to Amazon’s vehicle matching tool. I highly recommend you make use of Amazon’s vehicle matching tool that lets you put details in about your car (make/model/year). It then it tells you if the part you’re looking at is compatible with your chosen vehicle or not.
Anyhow, here’s the link:

You get what you pay for with led bulbs. $0.40 Chinese led bulbs will be typically be pretty blue and dim, with short life expectancy and limited warranty/support. I went through three cheap sets in my first year of owning the G37 actually.
The ones in your eBay link have 5050 led chips which are older and don't output as light as newer led chips like 5630, 2835, 5730.
I would suggest Diode Dynamics HP5 bulbs in 6000k for maximum brightness and reliability. $20/pair of bulbs (you'll need three for doors, dome, and license plate, maybe four if you want to do the trunk too). Pricey but I can vouch that these are bright, true to color, and won't flicker within a few months. Plus 3 yr warranty with solid customer support. They also have some cool easy diy tail light and fog light mods.
https://www.diodedynamics.com/store/listed-by-vehicle/infiniti/q50.html
On the lower budget spectrum, these Amazon sets have newer 2835 led chips which are a lot brighter than 5050s. The build quality is good but I'm unsure on longevity since I only tried them for a week or two now on our Honda Accord.

Congratulations on getting an ND. If you are getting one with a manual transmission don't look at anything other than the Club or Club Brembo trim levels, as those are the only ones that come with a limited slip differential.

If you are going to be buying a used ND, be sure to read over the threads pertaining to roof and transmission issues on the early model cars. The TSB's put out by Mazda also give good guidelines as to what to look for. You should be okay buying a early year used car as long as you look over the known wear points on the roof and check the build date on the transmission.

The following is a good basic list of items that any ND owner could install that would be enjoyable upgrades as stand alone upgrades or as a starting point for further modifications dependent on intended use.

3M Invisible Bra for the front bumper. Can't stress this enough, this car eats rocks to the face like crazy...
Stubby Antenna, stock one looks like a RC car antenna
Interior dome light and trunk light LEDs
Reverse light LEDs
Side marker and license plate light LEDs
Wheel Spacers if you intend to keep the stock wheels, Stock wheels are very sunk into the wheel well and look strange from the factory.
Sway bars, the stock bars are very thin and allow LOTS of body roll. Of all the parts that I listed, only the front sway bar has a high degree of difficulty to install assuming you have basic mechanical skills.

Stock exhaust is very anemic, recommend some muffler choices based on if you are looking for a more refined but quiet exhaust or something louder and more exotic. Don't bother with midpipe unless you are looking at headers as well. Cold air intakes for the ND have been proven to do absolutely nothing via dyno testing.

HKS Legamax Premium. More on the quiet side, gets louder with a great refined sound as it breaks in.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-XdBGS1nwI

Roadster Sport Race. Loudest exhaust but still okay to daily drive. Has an exotic sound.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvK18FsWilE

Also, I Just had the Innovated Dynamics spoiler in your picture delivered. FYI, Jose the guy that makes these is known for long delays and not answering emails /phone calls. If you order one of these spoilers don't expect to see it for 4 to 6 weeks. I'll post up some pictures once it is painted and mounted.

I have more upgrades done to my 16' Jet Black Mica ND with more planned for the future. DM me if you want to see pictures of my car on IG or if you would like an additional opinion on parts I have not covered in this post.
I used THESE ones. Amazon Prime for $9.99.
Very bright, but word for the wise, Do not replace your brights indicator with one of these. I did and it nearly blinded me with blue light when I used the brights. Ended up switching it back out for one of the original bulbs. They are nice in the turn signals however as they're nice and bright, keeping from being an idiot that lets them just run after a turn.
These lights also fit into the shifting plate and the 4WD plate of you've got it. Just enough to do them all vice the brights.
EDIT: I also did a little modification while I painted my instrument cluster of putting aluminum tape around the backside of the tac and speedo to try and reflect the light a little better. It seems to have worked a little but not much.
These and these should cover all of our interior lights. Don't be scared by the made in china brand, I have used these in my Rav4, CRV and Ridgeline with great success!
EDIT: also the 194's replace your parking lights up front, and those look great with LED's
It's really hard to capture the glow pictures, but it's super easy to try for yourself, and the LEDs are not expensive.
I replaced the puddle lights under the mirrors, in all four doors, and the reverse indicator lights. They are all brighter than stock and the same white color temperature as the overhead console lights.
I picked up a 2017 EX-T in December and the very first thing I did was upgrade the lights to LED.

So it is actually a 3 part ordeal.
The actual fog lights since my car didn't come with them, and the stalk. Then I did some c-shaped drl since I have leds in my high beams and the factory drl doesn't work with leds, but then the c-shaped drl didn't work for a little bit so I bought the drl turn signals, and then the previous c-shaped ones started working again. I will just post all of my mods below:

I had my rims done by a local company, they are the factory 16" painted gloss black. My mazda emblem is actually a long story, but essentially it is just scuffed up with sand paper ready to be painted but I liked the look and stuck it back on the way it is. I have also installed car play, and 3D printed a shift knob. The factory bose system was a little lacking and put a small under seat sub in to help fill the sound, but am still not happy with it, so that's a future project.
Some near future plans for the car include the aero kit, and I'll post the links to those here too:

I use this LED light:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WVJR0D8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It works very well and it’s super bright. If you do change out your bulb, switch the two corner running lights to LED as well. I used these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JRE38EA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Installation was a breeze. You can find install videos on YouTube.
I did this to my '13 VT about 6 months. I bought these for my map, dome, and trunk lights. I never actually did the vanity lights under the shade flaps, but they work great. Very bright.
edit: my trunk light was also a DE3175, but that may have changed from '13 to '16. So this 4 pack was just enough for the lights I needed to switch.
For my 96 xj (full cluster with tach) my dash took 8 194 LEDs. Then 2 194's, for the transfer case and trans shifters. Then I replaced 2 74 LED's. One for the key insert ring and one for the hvac. There are a few more 74 slots behind the switches to the left and right of your wheel.
You have to unscrew the steering wheel plastic shroud. It takes a torx 15 I believe, you need a long torx screwdriver for this, a bit won't fit up there. Then you pull the dash panel off, then four screws around the instrument panel, another 1-2 screws near the warning lights area on the left side. Pull out the instrument panel a bit and you will have to disconnect two plugs in the back, one behind the warning lights and one in the middle of the cluster. Push in and pull up on the middle plug to get it out. Then pull the instrument panel and untwist the 8 ports for the 194 lights, then put it all back.
You can replace the warning lights if you want with 74's as well but that's a lot of LEDs, maybe 8 or so.
The hvac light port is on the upper right side when you unscrew the four screws and pull it out a bit.
For the 194's I got these Yorkim LEDs off Amazon, cheaper than superbright and seem to be great quality. I love them so far. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JRE38EA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These are the 74's I bought. You might be able to find cheaper. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/miniature-wedge-base/74-led-bulb-1-smd-led-miniature-wedge-retrofit-car/227/

I installed an LED headlight. It added a lot more visibility at night. Took 10 minutes or less to do.

If you're interested you could change out all the interior lighting to LED. The door courtesy lights. The window visor lights. Trunk light. Parking lights. License plate light. Switching to LEDs will modernize the car.
I used these LEDs
Out of the ten, one was flickering on me. But the others have been working properly. Makes my car look really nice.
The only thing I haven't changed out yet is the side mirror lights because I believe they're quite difficult to change.

I have these and they're great.
The hard part is finding ones that are short enough to fit under the lense.
I found these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DRBKCZC/
I can not attest as to their quality or longevity as I just got them, but they fit!
Is ever referring to the ~40 day old account you have?
My best ~30 bucks spent we’re on replacement door lights. These are a rather good knockoff off of what I’ve seen on Range Rovers. The one I bought isn’t listed anymore, but this is similar:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X72IO9C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_a2BKzb46ATZ9G
Two packs get you 4, one for each door.
For my 2018 Honda fit I use this for front 2 side markers, all inside interior lights(4) and license plate lights(2). https://www.amazon.com/NINEO-Interior-Reverse-Courtesy-Sidemarker/dp/B07DRBKCZC/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=cree%2B194%2Bled%2Bbulb&qid=1560735126&s=automotive&sr=1-2&th=1 Also, I put dielectric grease on all the bulb socket https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-22058-Dielectric-Tune-Up-Grease/dp/B000AL8VD2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=dielectric+grease&qid=1570710707&sprefix=diele&sr=8-3 warning the cap breaks easy if you over tighten it.
My trim didn't have fog lights.
I can't remember right now, but I think I was having an issue with finding high beams, or something. I can't seem to find any order history on other bulbs.
But, these are the reverse lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008G4Y076/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JiQyDbVFPZQFZ
And these are for you interior lights, and license plate lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DE7UC6C?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
These work on my 2018 as well so they should still match a 2016.
Headlights (you only need one pair. the cutoff is outstanding)
Map lights, license plate lights, running tail lights, and side marker lights
Reverse lights
Front turn signals (accessible from under the vehicle - pin remover and 10mm socket needed)
Rear turn signals (requires tail light disassembly)
Turn signal resistors (required to prevent hyperflashing; soldering is recommended)
Brake lights (requires tail light disassembly)
Daytime-running lights (pliers needed)
Trunk light and dome light
I used these lights, they work for most of the lights you will encounter in a Camry, no dead ones, been working great for a year so far: 194 LED Light bulb, Yorkim 2017... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JRE38EA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

these
Thanks! Ended up going with these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L9NXXFH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .
Apparently my issue was ordering the wrong type of festoon bulb last time.
I used these for my sidemarker lights and they are significantly brighter than the original bulbs. All my exterior lights are now LED except for the headlights, along with some of my interior lights. The only part we both share are the reverse lights. I didn't like using red LED's. The output through the lens was less than using white LED's. I may try your XOR gate to see if output can be increased even further, but it probably won't unless I switch bulbs. The bulbs you're using are probably brighter than mine. The sad part about the sidemarkers is that there's very limited space, so big 1000+ lumen bulbs won't fit. These were the first bulbs I tried for the sidemarkers. I think I have them installed in my map lights now.
The all day aspect is why I converted to LED. I don't want as much risk of draining my battery, and that happened on a long weekend camping trip when I left a map light on, which caused me to finally address my interior.
I second these suggestions. I replaced my maplights with these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DE7UC6C. It was a PITA removing the old bulbs. Ended up using packing tape to wrap around the bulb to pull them out.
And b/c I bought the wrong dome light bulb, I'll be replacing my dome light with this tomorrow https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AHVND32
Please don't do what I did and go off a youtube link, double check these will all work in your Taco first.
Also, if you're going to be prying things apart I'd suggest a cheap (<$10) trim kit. I already had a cellphone repair kit so I used one of it's plastic pry tools.
