TOTALY THIS Because I have RB1 drums and the blue is always making a wierd noise.

As for something on mine that I want but that is also awsome... New mic for Rock Band off my Games list. Because my old mic doesn't work right. And the other Mics I have don't work well with my games. The mics like this are the best.

Rock Band is the best game eva. I think we might already be twinsies . Oh just FYI, since I saw you wanted RB3 and the RB3 Keyboard... there is a bundle that is cheaper. that you might wanna check out. :)

And honestly just from looking at your games list I think I would probably trust you to pick something, but I honestly really could use that mic.... an also if you have GH or the other RB games and want to play sometime and have gold add me on the 360 Cellophane Girl :)

u/revolu7ion · 1 pointr/DanceDanceRevolution

I bought this official Konami pad and have been happy with it. Only complaint is the down and X (bottom right) both register the down arrow but it's pretty easy to play like that.

https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Dance-Revolution-Original-Konami/dp/B003FG68U2/

It uses usb and can be used with stepmania on PC. I would recommend using Stepmania for home play and you can download any song on sites like zenius. Simply love is a nice clean minimal theme for Stepmania.

I converted it into a hard pad using this tutorial:

No letter 'M', but I thought this Golden Xbox 360 controller is pretty tight.

I'd like one month of gold because I've never had it and would just like to see what it's all about. Fun contest!

I'd prefer platinum-190

Edit: THANKS FOR THE GOLD! I'm excited to play around with it. :-D

u/crankpatate · 1 pointr/Guildwars2

[EDIT] Sorry for the big wall of text. Maximum compression of content: No real disadvantages. if you're EU, we can meet in game. I can try send you my steam controller config and give you my GW2 settings in game.

Oh sorry, wasn't @ home this weekend. Sorry for the late answer.

Yes, of course I still have a kb around for typing / chatting (but only because that chatpad AddOn for the controller doesn't work on PC for some reason! D: )

I also still have a mous near me, because I for sure need it to controll my PC while not in game. And I sometimes use it to win at inventory wars. It's faster and more comfortable to fix a big cluttered inventory and for longer crafting sessions at the crafting stations. But for quick fixing while running in a zerg, I use gamepad.

Placing AoE skills in fight isn't rly hard with gamepad & activated action cam. If you've ever played a shooter with a gamepad you'll be able to aim that AoE's. If you want to play a heavy ground targetted class, like condi necro with staff, there's an additional option to lock ground targetted skills on your target. This way you'll cast ground targetted skills directly on top of your target without having to aim at all.

I'm mainly playing Warrior (PvE, WvW - zerg and roaming), Revenant (WvW - zerg and roaming) and Guardian (Fractals - only T2, but working on it). If you'd face me in wvw roaming I'd definitly be one of the better players you'd fight against. There's rly no real disadvantage for pure PvE and only veeeeeeeeeeeery minimal for PvP:

  • Having to aim ground targetted skills, which is slightly harder than with MK. But this only rly affect you, with skills that need to be casted very quick and very precise. For example there are possible trick stomps with thief against thiefs downed escape, using Shadow step to TP on top of them after they use their downed skill 2 to get away from your stomp. You also have it harder to cast skills uphill on top of a plateau. If the terrain step is too high, you struggle to place it correctly. But this is again not gamepad related, but an issue of action cam (but with gamepad controlls you rly rly want to use that action cam). This issue is not THAT rare, but usually only occures at situations where you don't have any preasure anyways.
  • Revenant-Shiro phase traversal can't be cast on targets out of range, while in action cam, for some reason. For this issue I added a button to my "menu controlls-layer". I'd switch into these controlls, push button and swapp back to combat controlls for it to work. This also isn't rly a weakness of gamepad, but a disadvantage of using action cam. (I did report this as a bugg, because this is definitly not how Anet want it to work)

But on the other hand, I've figured some rly funny interactions, that may offer advantages in combat! ;)

You can make some sort of "zig-zag" leaps if you have action cam active and disabled autotargetting. Using a leap skill like Bulls Charge or Warrior GS skill 5, will give you the option to run into a "wrong direction" (no target locked) and then make a quick turn by locking on your target mid rush. Looks super goofy and maybe kinda unintended, but I had people go like "W.T.F." when I "run away" from them and then make a quick 180 back and hitt them in the face. Or dodging an AoE by running sideways and turn on them mid dash.

    ------------

Keep in mind GW2 has an exceptional amount of controll options in game. You can - if you want to - turn ranged DPS classes into a shooter like gameplay, by turning off auto targetting & turning on action cam. You can also enable first person for cam = FPS. Or you can reposition the cam slightly to left / right = 3rd person "over the shoulder"-shooter. Enabling action cam in generall turns GW2 into a console game expierience. Turning it off will change it more into a MOBA (but with cam locked on your hero).

    ------------

If you're EU, we can also meet up in game if you want to. I can show you, that I'm not crippled by playing with a gamepad and we could chatt in real time. Would also make it easier to explain you all the GW2 settings I use and how I configurated the controlls in game. And maybe we can figure out how I can send you my controller config in steam.
u/TehThespian · 1 pointr/Brawlhalla

I play on the DS4 like you and I love it. You should look into the Madcatz FightPad series if they look like something you could use. You can get the 360 models relatively cheap like the one I showed (actually thats the one I own as well) and its quite responsive and comfortable. I don't use it simply cause I got so accustomed to the Joystick on the DS4

u/Spookymikal · 1 pointr/RUGC_Midwest

I do.

For gaming the sound quality is good but half of that is honestly just good earcup design that blocks out a ton of external sound. Voice quality is clear on voice chat and I generally don't get many complaints about the mic quality (though sometimes programs like mumble adjust the volume of your mic and if you turn it down there it'll also turn it down in TF2 so watch out for that.)

If you're looking for EXCELLENT sound quality then USB just isn't gonna do it for you. Get These Headphones and then use This mic and set up some kinda mounting device for the mic.

u/iCeCoCaCoLa64 · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

Dude, my friend plays the shit out of Paragon and he'd love this. Entering.

u/HudasOneThree · 1 pointr/Tekken

Gotta look at it in a business sense. So the companies of course will make products for the bigger market so it will sell easier, which someone mentioned Sony have more fighting games than M$ does. That said, having those sticks exclusive doesn't mean much considering not everyone are fans of those designs. And if you are a tourney traveler and you also play on many systems, it may be in your best interest to put a Brooks all-in-one board.

The HORI RAP N is actually offered for the Xbone. It is just sold as a theme for T7. Razer may have given Sony the Panthera but Xbox always had the trusty Atrox.

You should have been around during the PS3/X360 days. Situation was hella reversed. Many of the FGs ran better on the X360 so they ran tourneys on them. Meaning you needed your sticks to be compatible for that. Or in some cases people just used a Brooks board anyway.

u/YMB9Shinzou · 4 pointsr/dbfz

Ummm what system is it you are playing on because any stick you can get that worked with all 3 is most likely going to be very expensive.

Edit: I see you said about your XBO pad not being responsive so I am going to assume you are playing on that. If you are playing on XBO then you should get a stick that works with that and then it will work also on PC.

I don't think with the lack of fighting games that the XBO has a great choice of sticks but this would maybe be a good buy https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Arcade-Pro-V-Fighting-Stick-Windows/dp/B0136JP894/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_63_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=B0XQTT2R8RGPQ2H77E7E

Personally though I have big hands and find that the stick and buttons are slightly too close on the Hori stick so if you're the same and want something with weight to it I'd go for this https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Atrox-Arcade-Gaming-Controller-Designed/dp/B00LYYNZ30?th=1

Both are quite pricy but if you are really committed to playing fighting games on stick it'll save you money overall because a really budget stick you will quickly outgrow or wear out... or put your fist through.

u/BBLF5112 · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

Just make sure you don't get one of these guys: http://www.amazon.com/DuaFire-Wired-Controller-Xbox-Black/dp/B00JTQS1DO/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1421852497&sr=8-12&keywords=xbox+pc+controller&pebp=1421852509508&peasin=B00JTQS1DO

That is the same one I received but I ordered the OEM one from OP's link. Good thing Amazon return policy is great.

u/DepressionHoarder · 43 pointsr/NeckbeardNests

360 wired and still works like a champ. Play it with Clone Hero sometimes. That's wild that ol' hunk of plastic is worth money.

I just looked it up on Amazon. Wtf?!

u/XBrian_BadondeX · 1 pointr/Steam

Hi Sirarvel, I also bought Bulletstorm on the sale and started with my mouse & keyboard but switched to my controller to see if it was any easier. I think that using the controller is better to be honest, to me it means you can be more accurate but that may be because im used to using a controller because I have only recently switched to PC gaming. The controller I use for my PC is a cheap afterglow gamepad. Below is a link, It's the exact one I have:
here

u/gmcemu · 7 pointsr/pcgaming

I have small hands as well. Have you tried one of these mini controllers? I'd recommend the version that's realtree camo because it has a good rubberized texture that is easy to hold. Some of the translucent ones can get a bit slippy if your hands start to sweat. What games in particular are giving you trouble?

u/radiorental · 2 pointsr/PS4

Interesting. Would something like the 'nunchuck' controller on the venomX work for your left hand?

https://www.amazon.com/Tuact-Venom-Supreme-Mouse-Controller/dp/B00MLXZGNK

u/kryptseeker · 6 pointsr/Morrowind

I would just go on craigslist and find a computer around that price.

You can probably get a core 2 duo (like 8+ year old PC) for around $80.

You can really go cheap on a new controller with this thing: https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Wired-Controller-Microsoft-System/dp/B01J7TBIL4/

Go on reviews though. 10-15$ for a controller won't get a very good one. Modern console controllers are usually 40$+, even original Microsoft 360 controllers are around $30.

Not exactly sure what "television cable" means but I assume you mean HDMI: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-High-Speed-HDMI-Cable-Standard/dp/B014I8SSD0/

I would recommend getting a newer computer though, save up another 200-300 dollars.

Also, vanilla MW won't work very well with a controller. I'd recommend openMW

And forget using any overhauls, they won't work very well with a computer this old I would think.

u/jroddie4 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

yeah, here it is. It's a transforming Dpad, so you'll have to screw around with your controller a bit to make it work, but it'll work great once you get it going.

u/zaqintosh · 1 pointr/gaming

So I'll probably generate hate from this, but I'm a PC player turned ps4 owner, I could not stand FPSs with the native ps4 controller (it just feels like throwing a baseball with my bad hand in terms metaphorical accuracy) and ended up getting this mouse / controller for ps4: https://www.amazon.com/Tuact-Venom-Supreme-Mouse-Controller/dp/B00MLXZGNK/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1478801971&sr=8-7&keywords=ps4+mouse

You have to turn off auto aim, and it works well enough on most ps4 games. That said, I've since upgraded my PC and will not likely play anymore FPS games on console... Witcher 3 (and similar style games) on console is fun for me just using the regular native controller.

u/matavach · 16 pointsr/techsupportgore

http://www.amazon.com/Batarang-Wired-Controller-Xbox-360/dp/B005761JFW

I'll recommend this baby. I picked it up on a whim, and it's the best controller I have ever used.

u/slashno · 12 pointsr/Rockband

You can also get a 5-pack of RHCP songs with specific RB3 bundles. Good luck with that, though. Your chances of finding one of those brand new at a reasonable price are essentially nonexistent.

u/Wpken · 2 pointsr/Borderlands

It's a lot easier to not have to look back once you go to PC so there's that. Also if it helps you try picking up a rock candy controller as they're very satisfying to use, and require no installation or setup whatsoever. I went and tried out my ps3 copy of BL2 after months and months of PC BL2, and honestly it just hurt my eyes.

u/Tyrannosaurus_Rox_ · 2 pointsr/RocketLeague

I really like the afterglow controllers I dare say they have even better quality than oem Xbox 360 controllers

u/XprojectbadassX · 2 pointsr/pcgaming

It's nice to see two comments to this already and neither are flaming you for using a controller on PC. Maybe the war is over. I got a [gold chrome Xbox 360 controller] (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Controller-Gold-Chrome/dp/B00EFRNG0A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416105134&sr=8-1&keywords=gold+chrome+xbox+360+controller&pebp=1416105135571) on sale last year and have been using it for all of my controller-worthy games. The only drawback is that you need a [wireless receiver] (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000HZFCT2), but other than that, it's perfect.

u/ItCameFromGOOR · 1 pointr/gaming

http://amzn.com/B001M22WMY I got one of these and it's great for PC emulation since it just recognizes it as a 360 controller

u/telepathetic_monkey · 1 pointr/RandomKindness

Instead of a Xbox controller, try the Rock Candy controller.

We've had ours for almost a year, and it's still working great. The one I linked is a bit pricey, we bought ours for $20 and we've seen it anywhere from $15 to $20 within the past month at Walmart.

u/beyphy · 1 pointr/RocketLeague

I got this on Amazon for around $11. I eventually switched to a much nicer official Xbox controller. But I still have the controller and I used it for a long time.

u/Metallover22 · 3 pointsr/Rockband

I found it pretty easily-in the first search when typing it in Google-https://www.amazon.com/Mad-Catz-Rock-Band-PRO-Guitar-Bundle/dp/B006603V4U

u/CobaltSmith · 1 pointr/RandomKindness

Most of my gaming is done on the XBOX 360. However, I was dumb enough to let a "friend" borrow a controller. When I got said controller back it looked like it had been dropped in a vat of oil. Every single button sticks and when you turn it on no matter what it will not sync with the system. So, my request is This

I appreciate the chance and hope you consider my request. If I get it or not, I am eternally grateful for this post. Thank you very much.

u/MindfulCrusader · 3 pointsr/xbox360

The official matte black controllers (wireless) sell for cheap on amazon. You can get used ones for around $18-25.

Link: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Controller-Matte-Black/dp/B000OYITQO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450119684&sr=8-1&keywords=black+matte+xbox

As far as the gamestop controllers, I would rather not play than use a third party controller.

u/FridayInc · 5 pointsr/rally

This is an afterglow 360 controller, it's a wired USB replica of a standard Microsoft 360 controller that works automatically on any windows PC. It is $27 and will make you infinitely better than using your keyboard.

u/golemike · 1 pointr/NBA2k

On my 360 I use the keyboard controller attachment to input the codes. I do it just because it's faster and easier. I've never done any of those first come, first serve codes. I don't think they are even on 'old-gen'.

u/snickers316 · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

There is a transformational d-pad mod. It's usually $7 or $8. Here. It requires a little bit of work, reviews say it's worthwhile. Although, for a total price of $35, you might want to wait for the X1 controller to go on sale for $39.99.

u/slaphappyspappy · 1 pointr/Minecraft

If you're running windows you might look at one of the kids wired mini controllers for Xbox 360. Should be plug and play on windows. The one she uses is similar to this one. POWER A Mini Pro EX Wired Controller - Grey - Xbox 360 by POWER A http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BEQLKIA/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_Xiegvb02NWJ6K

u/KitTheKatz · 1 pointr/DanceDanceRevolution

Apparently the price got bumped up to $30 since the last time I looked. You can find one for less than $20 at places like cd tradepost.

u/CleanDependent · 1 pointr/yakuzagames

https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Wired-Controller-Microsoft-System/dp/B01J7TBIL4

Take a good look at the picture because I seriously don't think it's replaceable.

u/Sharrakor · 2 pointsr/bestof

Any Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller will work just fine (well, some people have a hate-on for the original 360's D-Pad).

When it comes to 360 controllers, I'm a fan of the PDP Rock Candy. They're cheap, but outside of lacking rumble, it doesn't feel like they skimped on parts.

u/NekoLas90 · 5 pointsr/darksouls

Well, this is what I used if you can figure out how to scrounge up the dough. Dark Souls is a lot of fun but I don't think you'll enjoy it as much with a kb/m, it was designed around a controller.

u/7oby · 1 pointr/xbox360

Whoa what? If your Toys R Us has them I suggest you buy them out and put them on Amazon, where they start at $160 new.

(And sell me one for much less because I have helped you make hundreds)

u/rfslocutus · 2 pointsr/Steam

This is what I use. They cost around $30 and they light up the same colour as the circuit board. It's a bit expensive but because it's a 360 controller, there is no extra setup required like motionjoy or xpadder.

EDIT: Amazon link

u/arkangelshadow007 · 1 pointr/diablo3

do you think this unnoficial wired one will work? or the one for xbox one, if im buying originals?

u/CherryBlossomStorm · 1 pointr/DanceDanceRevolution

So I just bought this, and it says it has a usb connector in the qa section: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FG68U2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So this shouldn't run into that issue about not being able to hit 2 buttons simultaneously right?

u/kinyutaka · 1 pointr/gaming

How would a battery pack and wireless adapter be cheaper than picking up a RockCandy Wired 360 Controller

u/Bjoernsson · 1 pointr/pics

Actually there is a hybrid controller and mouse combo that has been out for a while: Tuact Venom. There are also keyboard and mouse adapters too for consoles.

Cancel your order/contact your bank and get a refund. I'd recommend this controller. It has a lot of bad reviews but I've had it since December and use it to play Dark Souls and co-op with my girlfriend and have had no issues. It might not be the best for FPS games because it's not accurate like a mouse but as long as you handle it delicately, it should be fine.
