Thank you all for your comments. Here is what I ended up with:

I bought a bluetooth transmitter/receiver on Amazon, here:

Mpow Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver 2-in-1, Bluetooth Transmitter for TV, Wireless Bluetooth Adapter with aptX for CD-Like Voice Enjoyment, Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Car/Home Stereo System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MMSWY5B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_OpJ3Cb0BH5MKT

I also needed some rechargeable AA batteries and a charger.. I purchased this combo because it was convenient:

EBL AA Rechargeable Batteries 2800mAh (4 Counts) and Smart Batttery Charger - 2 Hours Fully Charged 2A USB Input https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N7MBF3G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_KsJ3CbJYHZP1E

Everything is working great with my BT speaker.. So, it should work just fine with my car stereo tomorrow 🙂

I have like 300 albums on MD and haven't listened to them in years.

I am controlling wireless sockets with my pi and a 433 MHz transmitter and it works flawlessly, so might be worth a thought

If you are looking into wiring them to the gpio pins, you have to make sure you find a dedicated relais that is able to switch the voltage and current and can be used with the pi. But please be careful when handling those. Don't just cut the cable and drill and place the wires into the relais. Use something like this to make sure you get a good contact. You are dealing with a lot of power afterall.

Sorry, English is not my first language :D

I really like my current setup for listening to music in my car via bluetooth. Some of these are paid apps.

GOgroove FlexSmart X3 FM Transmitter Solid FM transmitter, good quality sound and adjusted tuning freq is nice.

Delayed Lock - $3 - disables my pattern lock screen when the phone is connected to the bluetooth transmitter

Car Dashdroid - auto runs when connected to bluetooth FM transmitter. Big shortcut icons and dial pad for car use. Auto closes when disconnected from bluetooth.

Nova Launcher - setup homescreen gesture to run car dashdroid with 2 fingers swipe down and Waze with two fingers swipe up.

Satechi Car Mount Works perfectly with the OPO.

With these apps and OPO's double tap to turn on, using the phone in the car is a treat.

Actually the M.2 interface is a new connector found on new motherboards, it uses PCIe lanes but not the slot itself.

You can still use the 960 M.2, but you'd need to buy an adapter such as this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Rivo-Riser-Extender-Drvie-Adapter/dp/B01N09W21D/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1526389547&sr=8-1&keywords=pcie+to+m.2+adapter

I would recommend the Corsair MX500, the 500gb is currently $154 on amazon, which is a great price. https://www.amazon.ca/Crucial-MX500-500GB-NAND-Internal/dp/B0784SLQM6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1526389685&sr=1-1&keywords=mx500

The 250gb is even cheaper and under $100, but having headroom for game storage is always welcome!

u/VisionKoS · 1 pointr/BudgetAudiophile

I just bought an anker Soundsync - has optical in and out for RX and TX. Sending audio to it is very good, has aptx HD as well as low latency for video. I'm pleased with it so far, mines permanently rigged into my amp but it does have a battery. For £30 it's great. The only thing that's temperamental is sending audio to two pairs of headphones but I'll never use that.

Link - https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Headphone-Earphone-Accessories/Anker-Transmitter-Low-Latency-Technology-Connection/B07BR3FFTB/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1540731806&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Anker+soundsync&dpPl=1&dpID=319heQzdMHL&ref=plSrch

Edit - this might be a bit big for headphones, it's probably like a thicker chrome cast in size but does have a battery

Edit 2- I'm half asleep, the one you linked looked like it would work. Can always order and return if the sound is 'meh'

After many years of buying headsets I finally found the best setup that is so comfortable for extended play.

First you will need one of these splitters possibly. I also like this cord extender.

And buy following:

  • Decent headset. I personally like earbuds, they are just the most comfortable, period. I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on earbuds over the years and honestly, price, performance and comfort (at least for me) these are my favorite. They sound better than much more expensive headphones I've used.

  • Standalone mic. These are cheap, this way you can pick the right kind of headset for your comfort without having to compromise for only the ones with a microphone. And trust me I've used a lot of the combo deals over the years, but my last straw was a pair or Sennheiser headphones+mic combo that were just so uncomfortable I couldn't wear them for longer than 45 minutes. Worst part was they were expensive ($300) and they didn't even sound that good.

  • Bluetooth transmitter. This is what I have.

  • Bluetooth headset

Now the range is not that great ~10 yards or so (trough a wall), I could probably get a better range with a different headset/transceiver combo but that's what I use, and it works fine for me (I do wish the range was a tad bit better).

When I step out to my kitchen (porch to smoke) to make me a drink I just put my bluetooth headset on. No hastles with battery because when I come back to my computer I just put my regular headsets on and plug in my bluetooth headset to charge.

Total cost $140. (including a $10 standalone microphone)

I used this Bluetooth to FM transmitter for my TJ before i had the option to install my deck into the TJ.

However if you are looking to use a deck I 100% recommend a Pioneer that's bluetooth ready. It's the easiest deck to pair to and use and the cost is low. (Literally find the deck model number in your bluetooth menu and connect to it) And bam it's connected. You don't need to go into any settings on the deck or anything (BT does need to be on). Stop by a display at a car audio place and try it. stupid easy.

That said If you want the Best: Alpine

If you want great for a good price: Pioneer

u/THEMCV · 9 pointsr/battlewagon

Mine is not built up completely yet, but I'll give you my parts list for everything I have and what I'll be getting as well. :) These prices are close to what I paid for at the time.

What I have:

24" Front LED Bar -$75

36" Roof LED Bar -$180

Rally Armor Universal Basic Mud Flaps -$16

N1 4" Muffler -$40

Curt Roof Rack -$120

Primitive Racing Skid Plates (Front, Transmission (thanks /u/Pizza_The_Hutt), and Rear -$450

5" PA Speaker -$12

K40 CB Antenna (mine came damaged) -$30

Less battle oriented mods:

Nexus 7 16GB (2012)- $199

Sound System- $950

What I'm getting next in order:

SJR 2" Lift Kit -$300

5 General Grabber AT2s -$560

Tube Bumper -$300-$400

That's pretty much everything. So just including off-road related mods, I have spent $923 so far and when I'm done will have spent about $2133.

I hope this helps. :)

I've used this one with success. In one car I tried it though it didn't fit in the cars lighter? But that's rare and then you could return it.

As far as wireless

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B018QN4INM/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1481344686&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=wireless+fm+transmitter&dpPl=1&dpID=417n6cZ7biL&ref=plSrch

I liked this one a lot. It might not fit in all cases but it did with mine and taking my case off wasn't a hassle, there are also extenders you can get. But the battery easily lasts 6+ hours of constant use. Which is great because it's only a micro USB to charge so if you have a portable battery or a car charger you're golden

u/N30FAMOUS · 2 pointsr/gadgets

Check the reviews it has on other sites; if they're mostly good reviews, then you might have received a faulty pair.
I went on Amazon and did a quick search, adding in a filter for only things with 4-star reviews and up. I see some seemingly-good Sony and Sennheiser ones for $60-$90. I wouldn't go for anything less than $40-$50 unless you really trust the brand or know for sure that it's good.

Alternatively, you could get something like this and plug it into your TV, and it'll let you use any set of wireless bluetooth headphones.

u/Turtleshell64 · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I got this one, the route+
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G49WFVK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It does come with an adapter so you can plug it into the dock. I’ve tried with my non low latency Sony noise cancelling headphones and it works well, pairs easily. I checked in lip sync scenes like the telltale Batman game and Wolfenstein and the sound does match up with the animation, but in other games it feels like there’s a very minor lag, like 0.5 sec or less. Probably has more to do with the headphones since they’re not the low latency kind. The nice thing is, I use the skull and co grip and the adapter has an extended usb connector so you can use it while having the case on.

Edit: should also point out I did use the charge pass through just fine, did not brick my switch. Used official charger.

u/Tec_ · 2 pointsr/CarAV

Plenty of options like this exist but I would never recommend them.

The only FM transmitter I would recommend is the hard wired style like the isimple. But for $20-30 more you can get a new radio and all the install parts off of crutchfeald or sonic electronics that will work and sound better.

u/sekazi · 3 pointsr/OculusQuest

Airpods do not support aptX LL. When I have tried them with a aptX LL devices even like the one you have there is a significant delay in the audio. The Sennheiser Momentum do support aptX LL so those would be fine.

Anyways if you have plans on using ALVR for streaming PC games to the Quest, streaming your Quest to your PC using adb or just want to use wireless headphones I suggest getting the Avantree aptX Low Latency Wireless Transmitter and Receiver Set because it would be $10 cheaper than buying two individual devices.

Here they are. This photo is an example of a way I would never use it but it can be used that way. I originally used the device you had and the TROND model which supported aptX LL in both TX and RX but had issues sometimes pairing them together. I would not use anything with a high ohm for the headphones or else the volume level and quality will suffer. My beyerdynamic Custom One Plus work fine but my beyerdynamic Custom Studio which is 80 ohm do not.

The reason I mention ALVR is because if you off load the streaming of the audio to Bluetooth you can save on bandwidth and latency.

u/UnsignedOmerta · 2 pointsr/buildapc

so, just to clarify, some thing like this would link to something like this to make the connection? its double the price to get both though.. is it that great vs just getting a pcie one?

Edit: ah that ones only works with intel cpus too. I'll need one for amd if i go this route.

Any help with android FM audio transmitters over USB?

I used to use this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ENY0ZLS/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_6ZmFub1X16VJV) device to simultaneously play audio to my cars radio through FM and charge my iPhone 5. I am switching to the moto x 2014 and with lollipop now supporting audio out through USB natively, are there any devices which support identical functionality? I don't two car outlets available, one for audio and one for a charge cable.

u/fabier · 1 pointr/Twitch

These are the ones I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OPVWHRY/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_pBJzzbV5YMRTZ.

Most pc manufacturers (and Apple) put crap bluetooth transmitters into their machines. They're high latency and the built in drivers suck on both Windows and Mac. What avantree has done which is genius is they basically make their transmitters operate without any interaction with your operating system or pc hardware. Just plug it into your microphone port and win :-).

They do have some background noise if you leave them plugged into usb to charge (not grounded well). But if they're running on their internal battery then they'll transmit no problem.

Can always return if it doesn't work well for you. You'll probably need an adapter for a good mic to work with the 1/8" audio jack as well.

Best of luck! Hope you find something that works for you!

u/iLL_S_D · 1 pointr/OculusQuest

I use the scrcpy method with these as transmitters and this as an external mic. I run everything though OBS and have 0 latency. I stream everything live on this facebook page so you can see for yourself how it works if you like. You could do the same thing of course with Twitch. Not the cheapest method I admit but it's the best method I've found for latency.

u/oddsnsodds · 1 pointr/audiophile

I would post a request over in r/vintageaudio asking about the value of keeping the gear you inherited.

Pyle makes cheap equipment, both in price and quality. I recommend avoiding the brand.

I don't have a good recommendation for a better phono preamp, unfortunately. I don't have much recent experience with vinyl.

You'll need a Bluetooth transmitter. The Esinkin box is a receiver, it won't send your audio. Perhaps something like this:

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07198BBZN/

For the speakers, I like SMSL amps. They're tiny, powerful, and dependable. The AD18 would give you a built-in bluetooth receiver and a remote:

https://www.amazon.ca/SMSL-AD18-Amplifier-Bluetooth-Subwoofer/dp/B071JN7GXN/

u/jokerswild_ · 2 pointsr/iphone

it's been awesome. I discovered my car's powerpoint can be keyed or always-live (the powerpoint fuse is actually a jumper - move it over pins 1-2 to make it always-live and move it over pins 2-3 in the fusebox to make it hot when the key is turned and unpowered when the key is removed) -- this means I get in the car & turn on the key and bluetooth autoconnects to my phone. Turn off the car and it disconnects. I get a call & all I have to do is switch the radio to preset 1 (set to 88.1 - the frequency that worked best for me with the X2mini) and hit 'answer'. It's almost as good as a factory-installed system. Sound is crystal-clear with no interference or static.

There's also an X3 & X3 mini now, but they went with a different, more-square formfactor ( X3: www.amazon.com/FlexSMART-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Technology-Handsfree/dp/B00BMYQTYE -- X3 Mini: www.amazon.com/FlexSMART-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Technology-Handsfree/dp/B00EPQ0U2S) and the X2 shape worked better in my car.

u/garebearsfavorite · 1 pointr/iphone

Would you recommend it solely on the music transmission? I really don't need one for the talking on the phone. It looks pretty good though, I'm deciding between yours and this belkin one http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Tunecast-Transmitter-iPhone-touch/dp/B00ENY0ZLS/ref=sr_1_5?s=mp3&ie=UTF8&qid=1418787726&sr=1-5

u/Yago20 · 1 pointr/VictoryMotorcycles

This sub isn't very active, and I doubt you will get much advise on it. The facebook forums are the most active in regards to stereo modifications and replacement, but there is also some talk on Victory Forums and The VOG.
I went the ultra cheap route, and bought a Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter similar to the one linked. I load music onto a card from time to time and listen that way. I have almost zero control over what I'm listening to through it, but since I put every song on the card, I usually don't want to skip through it anyway.
Some of the guys on Facebook are selling new stereos, where you glue the removable faceplate of the radio to the dash, and mount the rest of the radio behind the fairing. There are even ways to make the stock radio controls work with the aftermarket radio. Good luck in your ventures!

u/GingaCougar · 2 pointsr/iphone

No worries! So far I'm very happy about the switch. It seems like only Samsung is keeping the headphone jack at the moment, and I don't enjoy their software. And it seems more like I should get a solid 3 days off the XR between charges so I'm very happy at the moment.

This is the converter I will most likely order:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00QX0YR7I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_0Cp-BbTX0E4GX

u/Lord_Ka1n · 3 pointsr/cars

You sure? It looks like they're about $20, lol. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NAT2U02/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2J7K8AZ6ZYFQB&psc=1

I'm hesitant to get any new units because the car is an 89 IROC and is original minus the radio. I don't want some weird looking Pioneer or anything in this car. If anything I'd probably get an old OEM replacement and use a cassette adapter.

u/sirjustindouglas · 2 pointsr/Nanoleaf

Yeah I feel you. I was looking into a wireless 3.5mm transmitter and receiver to plug into the output of my sonos bridge and then plugging receiver into the rhythm module to improve response time without running a long wire. Theoretically the one below would work as long as your home theater system allows additional output. For now it wasn't worth testing the idea for then available wireless transmitter/receivers I found on Amazon. I can't justify $50 to remove a few ms of delay

It would be nice if there was a Nanoleaf solution for it since depending on the shape of the room and placement of speakers it might only pick up partial sound.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OPVWHRY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Jw16Cb2V462SA

u/tylergoldenberg · 2 pointsr/livesound

Maybe this is a bit of an unprofessional system, but could you not use one of these plugged into a belt pack of a standard wireless IEM and then connect any set of Bluetooth headphones to it?
Then you could leave the belt pack on the edge of the stage/performance area within range and use any set of Bluetooth earbuds you see fit.

TaoTronics Bluetooth Receiver/Car Kit, Portable Wireless Audio Adapter 3.5mm Aux Stereo Output (Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, Built-in Microphone) for Home Audio Music Streaming Sound System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013QJ0W8Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_trrRDbBJQZ0HY

Edit: nevermind, this would be backwards. You need a Bluetooth transmitter, not receiver. So this is what you’d want:

Mpow Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver 2-in-1, Bluetooth Transmitter for TV, Wireless Bluetooth Adapter for Hi-Fi CD-Like Voice Enjoyment, Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Car/Home Stereo System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MMSWY5B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dzrRDb5SNQGQ2

u/arkhira · 3 pointsr/bapcsalescanada

It should work with a PCI adapter like this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Rivo-PCI-Adapter-Card-Supports/dp/B01N09W21D/. However the PCI lanes on your board are slower due to being 2.0 so you won't see the full gains of a PCI 3.0 NVMe drive. I would just save the money and wait for a regular SATA SSD to go on sale.

u/Charming_geek · 1 pointr/financialindependence

Same. An older model (2004 3.0L H6), currently at 130,000 miles. I absolutely love the thing. It's all the car I think I'll ever need. It's spacious enough that you can move a heck of a lot of stuff with it, it's powerful enough that if you put your foot down you get decent acceleration even at 60-70 mph, it gets half-decent mileage (~25 mpg) and it is small enough that it doesn't feel like a "big" car.

I was starting to get an itch to get a new (to me) car, since there are some things it doesn't have, but I have recently put in a 12V bluetooth FM transmitter thing (like this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0SFMIH/). With that, a $1 phone holder from dollar tree, and my smartphone in android auto mode, my car is as smart I think I'll ever need it to be.

u/dontletthestankout · 1 pointr/arduino

I've played with the NRF2401s and the ESP8266, and they're awesome but (personal preference) the easiest way to just click and execute are these.

http://www.amazon.com/SMAKN%C2%AE-433Mhz-Transmitter-Receiver-Arduino/dp/B00M2CUALS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452141238&sr=8-1&keywords=433mhz

u/xDEMONFEVERx · 2 pointsr/e46

Not OP but I have this LDesign FM Transmitter it’s by far the best one I’ve had so far

u/Neokev · 3 pointsr/cars

It would probably be more cost effective to get an FM transmitter such as this:
http://www.amazon.com/TeckNet%C2%AE-Universal-Transmitter-Rechargeable-Battery/dp/B000R5NJCE/ref=sr_1_5?s=mp3&ie=UTF8&qid=1411240995&sr=1-5&keywords=fm+transmitter

Thats just one suggestion, do a little research on these devices, as the sound quality can vary greatly.
You can have a new stereo installed at Best Buy/local car audio shop, or perhaps even get a patch cable wired into your existing stereo, but those options are gonna start at like $250 and go up, so it might be worth the $10-$20 to try one of these out before you drop real money.

u/MisterMaccabee · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Sure. Thing is tho I used a scissor to alter the bottom of the S&C grip case. If you look on the back of grip going about an inch up from bottom and mostly thru middle of the back of case from side to side there is an indent that surrounds the open plug on bottom of Switch. I cut using that line. Has no impact on stability of case. But now I can use any adapter I want.

First I bought this one which works just fine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L9V1FCF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also bought this one and am waiting for it to arrive: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G49WFVK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought the second one because it has an elongated stem which could help with other cases I have so that I wouldn't have to alter the other cases in any way. I'll see which one I lie better and return the one I decide to not use

u/asschompster · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

The title of your post mentions Bluetooth headphones. It is not currently possible to connect Bluetooth headphones directly to the Switch but there are some dongles on the market that provide a workable solution with even multiplayer support.

I looked into a number of different options and this was the solution I eventually settled on. Sound quality is easily good enough for simple narration, and if you get an fm transmitter with bluetooth you can have it auto-pair with your phone when you get in. Won't find a better method at that price range.

I got this:

I haven't used the broadcaster version in a long time since my recent cars don't require it.

I use to have a small broadcaster version similar to these:

but there are hundreds of them and they get pretty big in size.

I have had success with both of these before Belkin TuneCast, Belkin TuneCast II

I am acutally using a iPod version of this one in my 94 Honda right now. It has the 30 pin connector instead of the 3.5mm jack and comes with a remote. Not the best quality but it does the job.

If you use eBay, here are a few options as well.

u/Makegooduseof · 3 pointsr/ipod

As annoying as the floppy dongle would be, the 3.5mm solution is the most reliable one out there.

There are some models that, while they still stick out like a sore thumb, try to keep the package as compact as possible. Here’s one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IQYC4R4/ref=psdcmw_9926003011_t1_B01KXIKCSI

is there literally no route to let you run a cable directly from the TV to your night stand?

i'd recommend a SPIDF cable long enough to dress along the wall and around the room to your night stand, then a little headphone amp, if you wanted to be fancy pants and have the best possible sound quality.

you don't have any analog audio outs from your TV, unless there's an earphone jack somewhere on the bottom edge. using that would probably mute the TV.

what and where is the source for the TV? you can use that for your audio source too.

u/NeverrSummer · 1 pointr/headphones

This looks like it would do what you want.

Out of interest what are you wanting to broadcast from that doesn't have a bluetooth transmitter built in?

u/RavenPanther · 3 pointsr/TechnologyProTips

As other have said, FM transmitter is the only way to go. The person that you rode Uber with probably used something like this.

There are many different brands of FM transmitters, as well as "styles". Some that are made for specific phones (usually iphones) that match the looks of the phone, ones that plug directly in vs. using a cord, ones that also plug into the 12volt vs using batteries.

The one I linked is an example, I don't believe you should ever spend more than $20-$25 on an FM transmitter, and most of the ones under $5-$10 aren't good quality. If you use the reviews as a guideline you should find decent ones on Amazon. But keep in mind that everyone will be using them in different cars, which will have different reception. The broadcasting power of these is only a few feet, and of course anything between the transmitter's antenna and your car's antenna will affect things. For example, when I used one in my old car, if I put it on the passenger's seat (closer to the antenna on the right-hand side of the car), it would get quieter and a little static-y, but if I put it in the cupholder between the seats (further away, but in direct "view" of the antenna), it would be clear as day.

If you look up a bluetooth transmitter, you'll be able to find what you are asking about. Instead of plugging it into the Atom's headphone jack, you'd be better off plugging into your DAC's output.

u/MrEnthusiasm · 1 pointr/homeautomation

I got exactly what you're talking about running yesterday.

I followed this tutorial, although I ended up hooking it up to Home Assistant instead of the basic front-end provided.

In short - Raspberry Pi + RF433 transmitter/receivers + your plugs.

Sniff the RF codes, then have a local network page that sends out the on/off codes to the plugs through the pi and transmitters.

Feel free to message me if you get stuck or need more detail, some of it I found slightly fiddly and not terribly well explained. Raspberry Pi pinouts here, you can use the 5V pins to power the transmitters on a breadboard.

I'm pretty sure there's a power limit you have to go over before the FCC comes knocking.
As long as the signal strength is fairly low I don't think it's going to be illegal.
No different than those audiojack dongles that transmit a short range FM signal you tune into with your car radio.

Normal bluetooth headphones will be terrible. However, there is a norm that offers decent delay, APTX low latency (caution: "APTX" by itself doesn't mean low latency, look for "APTX low latency"). I use these to plug any kind of headphones: https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Headphones/dp/B00OPVWHRY/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1494608985&sr=8-5&keywords=avantree%2Baptx%2Blow&th=1

From my experience, the delay is not a deal breaker. I'm not very good at scoring anyway, but I don't feel too handicapped by the delay (which should be around 30ms) when playing casually. My steps definitely are very slightly off, but it's not ruining my fun.

There's plenty of other options via usb-c, some with their own usb-c port so that you can use the bluetooth adapter and still charge the switch and others that are smaller but without that feature.
