Genie Bidet! Got it from amazon. We had the luxe bidet attachment before and it worked great as well but it was a bitch to clean around. We got the genie bidet recently, it is a whole toilet seat, and it’s been awesome. So much easier to keep clean and the parts it came with were quality metal (no plastic!). The seat is slow close and nice quality. I also love it’s super sleek design. It doesn’t have a giant dial sticking out the side or anything, it’s very subtle.

Lol good practice for what? I'm 29, working my dream job, married my best friend, and get to basically do what I want when I want. I have my own routines for sure, they just don't include making my bed.

Ain't no way I'm having cold water shot into my cornhole lol got it off amazon.

I highly recommend the [Boss Bidet](https://www.amazon.com/BIDET-Toilet-Attachment-Cleans-Warranty/product-reviews/B06WP78R7S/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_paging_btm_next_2?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews&pageNumber=2) Before purchasing this item, I did quite a bit of research and determined that the Boss Bidet Bold Toilet Attachment was the best among competing products. I like the pull/push knob to activate the bidet and to control pressure, the positive click of the nozzle choice dial and, of course, the sleek and pleasing design of the unit. Installation was a breeze -- I am a 74 year old woman and managed to install the bidet in about 20 minutes. The bidet functions exactly as described by the seller. I am very happy that I bought it and tell my friends and family about it.

Yessssss!!!!!

I got a bidet (super fancy, dryer, heated seats, heated water, remote) 4 years back and fell in love.

THEN I got pregnant and everyone is talking about a peri bottle... and I’m like you fools need to get on the bidet bandwagon!

Husband won’t admit he uses it... but I can tell on his face that he likes it after spicy meal.

I dont want to say LIFE CHANGING but man it feels great. You feel so clean... in the summer you can use cooler water and you feel refreshed. Midnight bathroom runs you are greeted with a warm seat :)

Getting ready to replace mine. it’s not heating the water any more.

Had a Brondell S1000 https://www.amazon.com/Brondell-S1000-RW-Swash-Advanced-Toilet/dp/B0045UB9HE ($600 ) and looking to replace with

Toto https://www.amazon.com/TOTO-SW3036-01-Electronic-Instantaneous/dp/B079WVTJMV because I like how you can program the user settings

Or

Toto
https://www.amazon.com/TOTO-SW2044-01-Electronic-SoftClose/dp/B00UCIOX2Q

But I don’t like how it’s not as slim as the first Toto.

$30 is a steal for the water action... but if you have room in the budget the other features are incredible!

I’m larger, so my butt would probably cover the adjustment knobs....

**Edit to add: https://nutritionfacts.org/video/avoiding-chicken-to-avoid-bladder-infections/

I got my bidet off Woot, but Amazon has them for under $30. You'll want to get a better connector than the plastic one they come with, but it's been a godsend for me.

https://www.amazon.com/TP70-Handheld-Personal-Portable-Capacity/dp/B00O92IF6Q/ref=sr_1_7?crid=7YUMED4AGJKQ is a cheap and easy tester for the portable ones.

https://www.amazon.com/Luxe-Bidet-Neo-120-Non-Electric/dp/B00A0RHSJO/ref=sr_1_4 is what Woot.com had for about the same price, and I love it.

u/Tower_Of_Rabble · 1 pointr/bidets

Posted before but thought this may help.
I started with a basic one ($35 off amazon) then recently after a good month of sales decided to splurge on the Bio Bidet BB-2000 Bliss Bidet (amazon link : https://www.amazon.com/BB-2000W-BioBidet-Bliss-Electric-Elongated/dp/B00GRM11R6 ). It ran about $650 but is worth every penny.

It has a remote that controls everything and is a great conversation starter when guests come over. They'll ask "Why does that remote in the bathroom have asses on it? " "Is your calculator broken?" Or "I think your toilet is haunted. I tried to change the channel in the bathroom and now my sinkhole is sparkly clean."

Another fun activity is sometimes I'll have the remote with me and when they're done spraying the bowl I'll just mash some buttins on the remote and get their opinion. Almost everyone loves it.

u/AliceNotBob · 2 pointsr/ZeroWaste

If the stains are bugging you, put them in a saturated black dye bath (if your cloth is cotton flannel like a lot of people, add some salt to make the dye more potent). You may have to re-dye them every year or something, but much easier than having to bleach them all the time. I generally don't use cloth toilet paper for #2, unless I feel like there's going to be minimal damage, but I do use it to wipe when I'm menstruating and when there's solids from that I rinse it before putting it in the washbag. If you're up for it, at my last home I had a bidet (this guy I think https://www.amazon.com/GenieBidet-Feminine-Attachment-Cleaning-connector/dp/B01INP9O7S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519269604&sr=8-1&keywords=genie+bidet) and that was perfect; bidet the bits away and wipe dry with a cloth. Also, it may seem zero-waste counterintuitive, but if your supply is too gross for you to be happy with you can give them a real hard clean and repurpose them for cleaning rags and make yourself some that are easier to clean. Better to be happy than to have zero waste be something making your unhappy.

u/littlefitbit · 8 pointsr/BabyBumps

The best thing to do would get it checked out. I would pick up a bidet for sure! (I have this one and & love it) It's a natural way of cleaning and does not irritate the hemorrhoids. Lubes and ointments get expensive after a while and are temporary solutions. Plus, bidets make it a lot easier for pregnant women to reach hard to get places and are great for postpartum.

https://www.upspringbaby.com/collections/c-panty
It has a silicone panel that pushes against the incision to minimize scarring.

https://www.amazon.com/BlenderBottle-SportMixer-Tritan-Bottle-28-Ounce/dp/B01M021YK8/ref=sr_1_17
I liked using the my Blender Bottle for water while breastfeeding, because it had a wide opening, and I'd chug the whole thing down as fast as I could, because I'd be so thirsty. (just take the blender ball out)

https://www.amazon.com/My-Brest-Friend-Nursing-Comfortable/dp/B00PC3K7OE/ref=sr_1_1
A good nursing pillow. Mom's Breast Friend was the gold standard when my babies were born, but there are a lot of other choices now.

https://www.amazon.com/Priva-Waterproof-Protector-Absorbency-Guaranteed/dp/B000FOA7BS/ref=sr_1_7
Absorbant mats like what they use on hospital beds for all the spills and leaks and everything else. These are great for so much: leaky boobs, changing babies anywhere and everywhere, etc etc. I still use them, and my kids are 7 and 9. They're handy to put on the bed when someone has a tummy bug.

Dry Shampoo

A toilet bidet attachment. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Tibbers-Self-Cleaning-Retractable-Non-Electric-Mechanical/dp/B07VRQHMJF/ref=sr_1_12?crid=28MRK9BCKEGPL There are a ton of options.

u/flatcurve · 2 pointsr/todayilearned

Yes. You want to search for either "Electronic Toilet Seat" or "Advanced Bidet Toilet Seat" or "washlet.' There's a range. Fair warning: They're typically not cheap. I got this one at Costco for $200 a few years ago, which is definitely on the low side for one of those, especially with that feature set. It's not available anymore though. A comparable model could be about $400-$500. This one is reasonably priced at $250, but it doesn't have an air dryer feature like the intelliseat. I also had an opportunity to use this one when I was in Japan, and it gets a nod of approval.

It seems like a lot to spend, but as others have said, once you get accustomed to it, you realize it's worth every penny.

u/sometimesineedhelp · 5 pointsr/preppers

>You have to be frugal to get an adult clean on one tank

We used to use a garden sprayer camping too, but then discovered this incredibly simply little gadget and found we got more thoroughly rinsed and cleaner "feeling" on even less water than we used with the sprayer. That plus one of these = the most efficient camping shower that actually gets you feeling as clean as your regular shower at home can, the garden sprayer just never had enough pressure or volume to make you feel like the soap and grime is actually off your body, you know? :)

u/FirstPlayer · 3 pointsr/DoesAnybodyElse

I pretty much went to the Amazon top-rated ones in the category; I got this one first and it's great, then when we built another bathroom next to my bedroom I bought one of these because I was curious about the warm water (it's nice, but it was a bit more difficult to install and takes time to warm up anyway). Both of them were a lot cheaper when I bought them 3-4 years ago; it looks like the top-rated one right now is this; I can't personally speak about it but the ratings are good. :)

Also I forgot to mention in my first post: toilet paper lasts basically forever. Using four to six squares just to dry off it takes me over three months to use a single roll.

u/karma_is_a_joke · 1 pointr/IBD

The surgery is a lot to deal with but when it's over you will feel like you have your life back. I bought a bidet from amazon and it really helps me.

Portable

I like to be clean because the movements are more acidic.

u/arbarnes · 6 pointsr/wicked_edge

My argument is that if you get dog shit on your hand, wiping it off isn't going to get you clean. Washing is the only way to make that happen.

I don't get shit on my hand every day, but my ass is another story. And it really appreciates a good hosing down. Here is the simplest effective solution, although you can add hot water or get all fancy with an remote-controlled electric unit if you want.

u/raccoonsinthecar · 2 pointsr/AskAnAmerican

My husband got this one. Until this question I did not know the damn thing was a thousand bucks.

I really don't have the need but can see that a guy might like it.

It is in his bathroom but I have used it just for the warm seat. That feature is pretty sweet!

u/AlwaysWorkin · 1 pointr/shittingadvice

Bidets are way better and have a lot of benefits. For your case, no more endless wipes. PM, i'll be more than happy to give you a discount on my Bidet. I have a lot of respect for you as a young adult that values finding a solution concerning his health.

u/Nepharian · 1 pointr/GalaxyNote9

I agree, best investment I ever made! this one is great! I don't know how it would help this situation though...

u/mikemann55 · 1 pointr/Constipation

You really don’t need to endure this agony, the solution is very simple.

Use a shattaf (water bidet) like this

You use low to medium water pressure (never high) and with warm water, hold the nozzle to your anus opening and gently allow water to enter your rectum.

This will do two things:

  1. Lubricate, moisten and relax the area
  2. break up and hydrate the dry stool making it softer, smoother.

The slow buildup of water in the rectum will also give you an urge to defecate and will help to smoothly push the stool out.

Once you try this, I guarantee you will use it when needed, and never suffer the agony of constipation.
u/prstele01 · 1 pointr/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

Yes absolutely, you can install a bidet on a toilet.

There are two types of "after-market" bidets. The main kind looks like this:

http://www.amazon.com/LUXE-Bidet-Vi-110-Non-Electric-Mechanical/dp/B005IT4C6G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381937146&sr=8-1&keywords=bidet

These are great because they are automated for the most part, you just turn it on and adjust the pressure with the dial next to you.

The second type is actually called a douchette, or handheld bidet and looks like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Brondell-CSL-40-CleanSpa-Shattaf-Sprayer/dp/B00BEBFV08/ref=pd_sim_hi_7

I have a friend that installed this kind and likes it, but I prefer the first kind, because I don't have to hold it with my hand.

u/chirisu · 2 pointsr/CrohnsDisease

Something like what you linked to take water directly from the wall (the same source that fills the tank/cistern) and will be COLD.

If you really want a good experience, get one of them fancy Japanese-style bidets that warms it up first.

This is what I have at home currently. It's got an IR remote and a lot of neat features, like a massage function that oscillates the stream; a pulse function that pulses the pressure of the water; warmed seat with 3-tier temp control; water temp control and pressure control; feminine wash setting (slightly farther forward stream); air drying.

This particular model has had some minor issues for us, but nothing that would deter me from Biobidet, but maybe that particular model.

Basically, it's the wisest investment I've ever made. And Woot has them on sale regularly (at least once a month, maybe more). They're always brand new, not refurbished, and at a significant discount from the MSRP.

Quick sidenote edit: Since it has all the fancy features it requires power. We have a power strip rigged up where we live now (planning on moving soon).

u/holysocks · 3 pointsr/funny

oh I was talking about one of those seat attachment sprays. I grew up where hand held sprays are common in every toilet and was uncomfortable when I first moved to the US.

Cheap one I use does not have heated water, but I can tell you that the butt hole is not actually that sensitive to cold water. I have now used it through 2 winters. This is the best and cheapest life improvement you can add to your life right now.

u/outdoorsexsj · 1 pointr/funny

I've been doing this my whole life and it is the best feeling in the world. Best sex too if you like ass play. You wont get any if you have carpet.

u/lostupac · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

I have a 3 Boss Bidet's installed and I love them! They're non electric, install in 15 minutes and the best price I could find for a dual nozzle (Don't get a single and hot & cold is pointless in America because of the installation process).

u/Gijay28 · 2 pointsr/beyondthebump

The sitz bath is a bucket the goes on the toilet seat, it's filled with warm water & then a bag of water hangs with a tube that attaches to the bath that squirts the water into the bucket. It creates a swirling bath of warm water that the vulva sits in to sooth pain. You don't use this after a c-section.

I had 2 c-sections. A belly binder is a must, the hospital should provide one. They come in different sizes, so if the first one doesn't fit ask for another size. Put it on before standing up. Having 2 reusable gel ice packs is nice on the incision. If you can get them, cloth menstrual pads are way nicer to wear for 4-8 weeks than disposable pads (soft, breathable & less leaks). You can't use a menstrual cup postpartum even with a c-section. High waist underwear are great, low cuts bother my incision months later. A peri bottle isn't necessary with a c-section, but it's nice to not have to bend. They give you one at the hospital, but I prefer using a travel bidet with a bent neck like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O92IF6Q/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_.qo2AbE60N95N

u/False_explanation · 6 pointsr/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

Bidet owner since late October of last year. It's probably the best thing I own in my house next to my air conditioner and my ice cube trays. Seriously. It's better than the internet and the internet has porn.

If you're even remotely curious about the cleaning quality, get the one I got on Amazon for $70. It's cheap enough to not hurt you financially if you don't like it, but it's a good enough quality for it to last you many, many years.

u/xpkranger · 2 pointsr/self

If you are a home-owner, DO NOT use "flushable" wipes, because they aren't as flushable as they would like you to believe. I think I helped buy the plumber a boat getting those things out of my house's pipes a few years ago.

As for the bidet, they don't spray shit-water. The water sprayed is fresh water, not recycled from the bowl. At least the one I installed does. A retractable spray 'wand' extends from the device to begin the process. I was VERY skeptical of it at first (it was my wife's idea) but having witnessed the results, I will definitely always own one.

Well worth the money. http://www.amazon.com/Brondell-S900-EW-Advanced-Elongated-Toilet/dp/B0045UB9FQ/ref=sr_1_4?s=kitchen-bath&ie=UTF8&qid=1415228002&sr=1-4&keywords=bidet

I suggest a partial CYV: Bunch/Fold/whatever, there is a superior method.

Let's say you fell face first into a load of poo. Would you wipe yourself off with paper towels and call it a day?

If your answer is no, I suggest a cleaner, more sanitary, more refreshing, and more comfortable method. A bidet!

An affordable mechanical model:

http://www.amazon.com/Luxe-MB110-Non-Electric-Mechanical-Attachment/dp/B001KKRCFA/

and a fancy electric model with a heated seat, warm air dry, deodorizer, etc.:

Once you go bidet, you never go back!

u/evolutionofafoodie · 6 pointsr/BigBrother

For those who don't want to use wipes but want a clean butt, I highly recommend getting a bidet. This one is fairly inexpensive, doesn't need to be plugged in to power, and you will use so much less toilet paper! https://www.amazon.com/GenieBidet-Seat-Cleaning-required-installation/dp/B00TCN0NP8/ref=sr_1_32

u/FigNinja · 2 pointsr/AskWomen

I have these on my toilets. Makes it easy to keep clean. Maybe that would be a hint, at least if she was at your place. Plus, if you're setting a tone of washing up yourself before sex, I think your partner is more likely to follow suit.

The idea of getting her to shower with you is a good one. Really, if she turns that down, I don't think anything short of directly asking is going to do it.

u/edselpdx · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

In that space, I assume that's already the thought. Can't imagine how else you'd shove 2 fixtures into that space. I highly recommend a good Toto dual flush like the Aquia and a Washlet.

I bought a $79 hand bidet off amazon. It came in two days (no prime) and I had it installed it literally under 10 minutes. No electricity required, works great, and the thing has literally saved my ass. Highly recommend.

u/Ossius · 21 pointsr/videos

Its practice, first 2-3 times you won't get the position right and you'll spray the inner cheek, or on the taint or crack.

Afterwards you'll know the position and you can start on low pressure to get the aim down before you start blasting.

I had a million bidet questions until I finally just bought one for $30 on amazon. After I used it it clicked and I realized how great it is. I mean, its just like taking a shower for your asshole. I thought I'd have to like wipe and use it, but every time I wiped after using the bidet it was 100% clean. Wipe to dry and call it a day.

I've got this one: https://www.amazon.com/Squatty-Potty-Refresh-Toilet-Attachment/dp/B00SLLK6RM?ref_=ast_sto_dp It works well and was easy to install. It's made by the same people who make the Squatty Potty, which I also recommend.

u/Jancy52 · 0 pointsr/Frugal

Nice joke... I finally figured it out. But, no, a hand held bidet is permanently attached to the lines going into your toilet and uses very little water to clean after urinating.

http://www.amazon.com/Brondell-CS-30-CleanSpa-Hand-Bidet/dp/B008CRQWFK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1412202268&sr=8-2&keywords=hand+held+bidet

Many women, myself included, carry an empty hand held sprayer much the size of plastic mustard bottle when we go to work. When I need to use the toilet I merely fill it up, use it, empty it out, and return it to my tote bag. I still wash hands afterwards anyway.

u/not_an_achiever · 1 pointr/keto

Agree. Have both. I've had this in one bathroom and will eventually buy a second for the other bathroom. I keep designated towels in the bathroom to pat dry but TBH, I rarely use them.

My third happiness toilet product is poo pourri, which I make myself with essential oils.

A super clean butt right out of the portos can be yours for less than $10. That's the real game changer.

u/AstarteHilzarie · 0 pointsr/LifeProTips

True, but you don't carry your wipes there, either. I've managed to avoid using public restrooms all but twice for two years, though.

Oh, actually, if you're really dedicated to the cause they do make portable bidets but I don't think I would tote one around with me unless I had some kind of medical condition that made it worthwhile.

u/BidetEvangelist · 1 pointr/worldnews

I am not OP but I have recommended this one to many family members and friends and they all like it. It's simple, not super noticeable, easy to install, and cheap.

u/DesertBreeze · 2 pointsr/sex

Get something portable like this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001BYV3J6?pc_redir=1397646847&robot_redir=1

If it is just a quick refresh, just use the portable bidet to rinse with warm water. If you have been especially active/sweaty, wipe with a wet wipe (one made for using on your intimate area) or baby wipe, then rinse with warm water. This is so you are more thoroughly cleaning, and you can dilute the scent of the wet wipe (you wouldn't want a strong perfumy or baby powder scent left behind). Or rinse the wet wipe first to dilute the scent if you don't want to use water to rinse.

At home you can install a mini shower portable bidet so you can wash right over the toilet. Something like this (do a search of "mini shower bidet" to see other brands)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00891BQC8/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1397783041&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40

I ordered steel straws and a bamboo travel cutlery set https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002BFPKFM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and luckily it came in a mylar envelope instead of a huge box with packaging.

I also bought a bidet https://www.amazon.com/Squatty-Potty-Refresh-Toilet-Attachment/dp/B00SLLK6RM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1497282018&sr=8-2&keywords=refresh+it+bidet at a discount store for $20. I haven't used toliet paper at my house since I got it! My husband won't use it though...

I bought this one at Costco for $150

It has it's own warmer and everything.

u/chin8999 · 3 pointsr/HomeImprovement

Think of it this way my friend: how often do you use the toilet? Isn't it also one of the most disgusting things you have to do multiple times every. single. day? Now, is that really so much money for decades of life-transforming excretion of wastes-- totally transforming the disgusting into joy-- and always having that oh-so-fresh feeling?

I don't think so! Especially since I think this is it for $936.

You will thank me later. Every single day.

Though, to be sure... the c200 is great.

u/mikeyk730 · 1 pointr/travel

u/mabsmohamed · 1 pointr/Constipation

If you buy a shattaf - many available such as:

Aizhy Hand Held Bidet Sprayer Stainless Steel Sprayer Shattaf Toilet Bidet Shower Head with 49-inch Hose and Bracket Holder https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BLS2HMD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9.pwDbKV7AEGY

And with GENTLE water pressure place nozzle on your anus and let water constantly go up your rectum-don’t force it ofcourse. Set the water temperature to warm or slightly hotter as this helps with the stool softening.

What this will do is soften and break up the hardened stool and let it pass until the whole piece breaks up and expels.

u/Swiggy1957 · 1 pointr/memes

They aren't doing it right. Need to up their game by giving her a reason to upgrade... Like THIS

u/Live_Positive · 2 pointsr/HomeImprovement

Had that one for almost 4 years before it started leaking everywhere. Was about to order another one but ended up with this, which doesn't have hot water but imo works a lot better and doesn't make your seat squeak as much.

u/janeylicious · 1 pointr/TwoXChromosomes

There are flushable ones, but you have to be careful with them (like don't flush more than 1-2 at a time) and some systems can't handle those in general anyway. It's kinda like the flushable tampon question...

If it doesn't work out, then there's always the trash. If you do most of your #2s at home, then there's a bidet, including the handheld type (http://www.amazon.com/Brondell-CS-30-CleanSpa-Hand-Bidet/dp/B008CRQWFK). Thinking I should get one of those for home use since I'm in an apartment at the moment, and then upgrade to fancy heated seat japanese ones when we buy a house that we can remodel.

u/electricalBear · 5 pointsr/DIY

Easy, either do it yourself, or buy one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/Brondell-CS-30-CleanSpa-Hand-Bidet/dp/B008CRQWFK

If you do it yourself, note that you'll have to stop by a plumbing store to get some adapters as the kitchen sprayers don't have the proper thread. Also would recommend installing a valve or turning down the main one as the kitchen sprayers can't handle full pressure and you'd risk a leak. That being said, I have two home made ones that we've been using as bidets for over 6 years and they're still going strong. Once you start using them...Shit will change your life!

u/Neverdied · -6 pointsr/askscience

If you guys have never tried a TOTO toilet seat/bidet you haven t lived fully. ALL the friends who have come to our house for diner have bought one after trying it.

You use only about 1/4 of the amount of paper you would normally use and you get your butt hole washed with warm water on a heated seat.

u/iamveryniceipromise · 4 pointsr/todayilearned

Here's the one I have. Yes it is very expensive, I also had to wire an outlet right next to toilet. But now when I walk up to my toilet, the lid automatically opens. The seat is already warmed, it cleans the bowl and sprays so nothing sticks, after I'm done my ass is washed with warm water, dried with hot air, and deodorized. When I walk away it cleans itself and the bowl thoroughly again. I can't use public toilets anymore. Anything less feels like wiping with leaves in the woods.

u/equiraptor · 1 pointr/TrollXChromosomes

You can buy a Japanese toilet seat and install it, keeping the standard toilet seat stored somewhere. You can then put the normal toilet seat back on when it's time to move and take your Japanese seat with you. The hard part is getting power to the seat (for the warmed water, air dry, warmed seat, etc.).

We recently built a house and had them put plugs by every toilet. After they were done, we bought the seats on Amazon and installed them ourselves. We went with a particularly nice version, but there are others that are less expensive.

u/Alxa · 1 pointr/starcitizen

Amazon sells them for a lot less then retail and you can convert an existing toilet to a robotic one:

http://smile.amazon.com/Toto-SW574-01-Washlet-Seat-Elongated/dp/B009IJ2LJ2/ref=sr_1_3?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1420832378&sr=1-3

u/zeaga2 · -2 pointsr/TooAfraidToAsk

Wow. That's a lot of assumptions in one comment. I think you read "rich-ish" and just thought unlimited funds. If so, that's far from the case.

Anyway, we have a normal-sized bathroom and a normal-sized bidet. They're not usually as big as you seem to think (unless you have one separate from the toilet, which is just a massive waste of money imho)

Edit: Also, you don't need to pay someone to install it, nor did we. It's stupid easy and takes like 5 minutes.

I bought a spray nozzle that just hooks to the side of the toilet -- it attaches to the water line between the wall and the tank. So glad I did it. Only downside is that it's just hooked up to the cold water, which doesn't bother me too much.

My wife bought one of these , and now I'm sold on them. It's a "hand-held bidet" and I don't know how I lived without one for so long. It is also handy for cleaning out cloth diapers, if you're a hippy and have kids, or are just into that sort of thing yourself.

u/Fairuse · 2 pointsr/gadgets

One major flaw is that the toilet cover comes down to quick. I usually hover over the toilet as I wipe (who has time to wait for the air dryer), and the cover will hit me on my 3rd wipe.

Also, I wished the spray wand would go further back (has 5 settings and 3 of the 5 basically just sprays my balls).

Also, the motion sensor is way to fucking sensitive. Constantly popping up the lid and spraying the toilet rim every time I enter the bathroom.

The Toto is pretty easy to install on your own--the hardest part is having to connect the water supply with your face/neck mashed against the wall like some kind of weirdo bathroom contortionist if your toilet's in a corner. I also recommend wall mounting the remote for corner toilets. It probably wouldn't take long to figure out where the buttons are on the side of the seat with the non-remote version, but man, would I hate pooping until I got to that point.

u/temporaryTatoo · 2 pointsr/bidets

Doesn’t that have “plumbing” similar to what you get from these? When I was in India, there was no fancy seat. The plumbing seemed to be part of the toilet. I could be wrong. I didn’t look carefully.
