This option is pretty pricey, but since you didn't list a budget, this is (in my opinion) the bar-none best desk money can buy. I have one and almost one year later I'm still freaking in love with the thing. It's built to last and I don't see myself ever getting rid of it (unless I move someplace where it doesn't fit, but then again, I probably wouldn't move to a place where it wouldn't fit :) )

UpLift Standing Desk: http://www.upliftdesk.com/stand-up-desk-with-bamboo-top/

A few of the nice points:

  • Standing desk, so fully height-adjustable
  • Comes in a variety of sizes up to 80"x30" with many different options (their other models come in different woods too)
  • Vast, unobstructed desk space with plenty of room in the corners for accessories & lamp
  • Desk legs are out-of-the-way (to the side) so there is nothing blocking your legs in or cramping your sitting/motion. Plenty of room for PC, paper shredder, subwoofer, trash can, etc. underneath without sacrificing leg space
  • Desk thickness is perfect for monitor arms and microphone arms (and I HIGHLY recommend arms for your monitors, you don't realize how much desk space you get back until you own them!!)
  • Built to be extremely solid and sturdy. No plastic anywhere and (as you'll find when you assemble it) the designers have gone a bit overboard on making sure the connections are rigid and plentiful.
  • The motors are quiet, quick, and powerful
  • Cable management on the underside of the desk via Cable Clips keeps everything sleek, clean, and beautiful
  • Screw one of these babies into the desk underneath and towards the back to easily power all of your accessories (they also have offerings with more plugs, if you really need that)
  • The underside is also perfect for a USB Hub or other accessory - just Command Strip it or screw it into the bottom, slightly recessed from the front lip of the desk to have a super slick, subtle, and clean IO panel for your phone, USB sticks, etc. Consider a second USB hub hidden elsewhere underneath for peripherals that are always plugged in (keyboard, mouse, microphone, headphone amp). This is great because only one cable needs to actually go to your PC, and new peripherals are really easy to add.
  • The power strip + USB hub strat means that you end up with only a small handful of cables actually coming way from the desk, which you can feed through cable braid for a super-sharp and clean/tidy look

If anyone is interested in buying one, don't bother getting their optional "cable management" kit, the recommendations above work way better in practice.

>I think Build 3 would meet my needs

Seems like a good build other than the PSU of dubious quality and the case that doesn't have good quality, airflow or conveniences to build in.

>Will this build come with everything I need to assemble (minus screwdriver)?

Yes.

>I also need wifi with my computer. Is that easy to pick out?

That can either come integrated in the motherboard or be bought separately in a PCIE card or USB dongle.

>Is the main issue that they likely use crappy power supply and motherboard that might fail after a few years?

Yes, and also that their quality and performance can be beaten or matched with the same price or lower if building.

>I assume I have access to a Microcenter but I'm not really sure what they are.

The locations are listed over here. If you're near one, that'd be nice because they have some good deals on hardware.

>My cat likes to chew through small cords so anything wireless is better.

Unrelated, but something like this might help

>I have no plans to upgrade piece by piece in the future.

Are you sure? That's a big selling point of building, might save you quite a bit in the future

>I'm assuming I would need to be able to get it on a flash drive though to be able to install on the new computer?

Yes. A DVD will work too since you want an optical drive.

>I'm assuming it's easy to find a decent guide to follow for assembly and that I don't need a static electricity bracelet.

Yes, there are many videos on youtube on how to do it and they're pretty much the same, because there's not much to it. You don't need the bracelet, but just as caution, during the process, don't pet your cat or build on a carpet, that could build up static electricity.

Here's a build that matches the performance of the first $879 prebuilt and also includes a decent IPS monitor:

Here's the kind of performance you can expect in many games.

But that was going with as cheap as possible as per your preference, we can increase performance and generally add a lot until up to $1000:

- Swap the RX 580 for a GTX 1660. Now the performance nearly matches the $999 prebuilt.

- Change the SSD to a much faster 512GB NVMe SSD. (Perfromance gains are not noticeable over a regular SATA SSD like the one in this build and in these prebuilts, just a neat technology that's not much more expensive, maybe an extra $15 or so). You mentioned large HDD and SSD, but said you wouldn't go past 500GB, but well, in any case a 2TB HDD of the same model (Seagate Barracuda) can be bought for not much more.

- Pick a bigger monitor

-----------

Let me know if you have any additional questions and will decide to go with building.

If you're just gaming, there's not much of a need for 12 cores. Even 8 cores is overkill for the majority of games but at this budget, it's worth it as some high profile triple A games are making some use of up to 8 cores.

Drop the 32GB of RAM. If you ever need that much in the future, it's easy enough to slot another 16GB kit in. Currently, most games don't even go above 10 - 11 GB of RAM usage so I'd wager that 16GB would pull you through until your next big upgrade.

The 970 Evo is overpriced in most use cases. A Sabrent Rocket will give you 99.9% of the same experience for significantly less money.

With the money saved, if you're looking to future-proof, the best way to do so is to grab the best consumer GPU on the market.

The case is really up to you as it's more personal preference at this budget. However, I will recommend the 460X over the 570X as it has a metal panel over a glass panel on the right side of the case. Reason being is that seeing your cables on the back isn't going to be the nicest feature of your computer and you might as well get the 460X which hides this whilst retaining the tempered glass on the front and left side of the case.

One last thing I can recommend is to get some cable combs to neaten up your PSU cables. It just cleans them up and they look nice, not really necessary but if you're going for a clean white build, I'd fully recommend it. https://www.amazon.com/Pieces-24-pin-8-pin-Gesleeved-0-13inch/dp/B0756XF5ZQ/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=cable+combs&qid=1567098541&s=electronics&sr=1-3

Ahhhhh OP. My eyes.

Ok, so here's my advice as I just went through something similar recently. I had to run a Cat6a cable into my room as I wasn't getting the speeds I wanted over wifi because the walls in my apartment are plaster so it cuts the speed like 50%.

There are some great tools out there that I think could help you manage the cabling in the room, but there are also some simpler tricks as well.

You have a ton of empty space on the bottom of your tv stand. There's a few options you could go here. You could get some nice wooden or storage inserts like [these] (https://www.amazon.com/MobileVision-Storage-Durable-Handles-Stackable/dp/B076CWK7R5/ref=sr_1_15?keywords=wooden+storage+box&qid=1565625552&s=gateway&sr=8-15) but bigger. I cant remember exactly where I got mine from but I believe it was Bed Bath and Beyond, they're more square and slightly bigger. There's a ton of options for those, that way you fill that empty space with usable storage, which will also help you hide the wires behind the tv stand.

The other recommendation I have to go with that is a power strip on the floor behind those storage boxes, that way everything can plug into the strip, and only one plug will need to run to the wall outlet rather then multiple.

If you didn't want to go that way, there are these super useful adhesive cable organizers that I used for my Cat cables. Now I'd recommend measuring beforehand, the length you need, and also how thick your cables are so you can figure out how big of an organizer you'll need.

But these are the ones I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004W3ZQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

These should be ok, but again make sure you double check if you need a thicker one. The great thing about these is that they can be painted to match your wall, personally I just stuck them on the molding near the floor so it looks like it's a part of it.

It definitely doesn't look that unorganized, and personally, I think your easiest fix would be putting some organizers under the tv stand so it blocks the view of all those cables. Because you don't have a ton of cables to begin with either, just an amp, tv, and playstation and a cable running from the left side as well.

u/ryzzie · 5 pointsr/konmari

So for wall mounted TVs I recommend a cable raceway (similar to this) to disguise the cable on the wall. You can adhere to the wall with command strips or other double-stick.

You can also use this for the lamp cord. I recommend moving the lamp closer to the wall. If there is excess cord, you can often feed it back into the lamp base. If your lamp base doesn't have a bottom, you can neatly (and gently) coil (DO NOT CREASE) the excess cord and secure with cable ties (I like this stuff because it only takes a little, and it's repositionable, unlike zip-ties).

As far as the power brick and excess cord to the wall...I would recommend placing an entertainment center (games????) OR some kind of decorative something that sparks JOY! Maybe something that can function as storage for something you need in the room, but don't want laying about (remote controls, etc).

Pro-tip: it may be tempting to pull cords SUPER tight, but keep a little slack to ensure the cable isn't being bent at the connectors.

Good luck, and please share your end solution with us!

Alright, I finally got the list together.

After all the feedback, this is what I decided to go for.
I'll provide a list of useful videos to help you understand why I suggest certain parts, as well as guides to help you get this system up and running.

I've edited in some extra items from Amazon. I did not include those into the total price, since I am not sure if you need or want everything.

I'll just mention stuff I've tried myself.

If money is no object, multiple monitors or at least headless ghosts are ironically useful in virtual desktop applications like Bigscreen. I run 3x2560x1600 in one large screen. Bigscreen has an update coming for multiple monitors too. Big physical screens are nice for spectators/multiplayer.

Until the wireless adapter comes out, a decently long displayport cable and longer USB cable running to the link box to cover the large play area and if you have an original Vive, the new 3-in-1 cable with a sleeve.

I've been looking at [this overhead pulley thing](https://www.amazon.com/MDW-Retractable-Management-Headset-Adhesive/dp/B01M6EB8DM/
) but I haven't actually tried it yet.

Two Vives would be good, you can run them off the same 2 base stations and partition the space with chaperone. I run a Rift and a Vive in the same room.

Get an assistant/intern/wife/child to help you set up/put things away, maintain everything, patch/update, find new content, etc...

Accessories:

  • Wireless headset/mic and an anchor for it
  • HOTAS, pedals (CH Throttle, T16000M, driving pedals for Elite Dangerous)
  • Force feedback wheel/pedals/shifter (old G25 here and the Simraceway wheel - surprisingly precise handheld wheel you don't mount to anything)
  • Xbox one controllers
  • Steam controllers
  • X-Arcade/NES/whatever emulation controllers
  • Leap Motion
  • Charging stations and rechargeable batteries
  • Locomotion options like Omni (Virtuix still hasn't shown up yet) / PocketStrafe / Wii balance board w/ GlovePie hacks

You might want a good recording setup with mixed reality support as well.

    e: stuff I forgot

  • Transducer like a buttkicker for tactile feedback in seated experiences (mine is a DIY) / Subpac wearable for standing

I like the covered style, like this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0145HHLLE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_DDQQzbJ8T9D0D

I like it because you can leave the cable pretty loose (therefore easy to work with and no Velcro ties needed), but it still keeps it tidy. You can get vertical versions of the same thing, which is where I put the extra slack off the cable (just let it loop down). If you have a fair amount of connections in your patch panel, consider getting one that is double sided. Obviously, it comes in a variety of sizes. Typically, 24 cables per 1u is a good guideline.

Edit: before and after. This isn't the best example for several reasons, but it gives you an idea of what good cable management can do. Some things worth noting here:

  1. We removed a switch and 1/2 the cables. (Instead of having the PC and the IP phone plugged into the wall, the PCs now connect through the phone.) This will make anything look better.
  2. No vertical management like I mentioned. It's too short and there is not a good way to attach it on this rack. This may be similar to what you have, though.
  3. Mixed type of management. You can clearly see the ring type and covered type here. That may actually help you decide which you like better, though.
  4. The extra slack is pushed through the holes in the back of the covered management. I don't like to do this because it makes working with the cabling more difficult, but when there is no vertical management to take care of it, it's an alright option.
u/smithenheimer · 2 pointsr/oculus

I'm using these....

HMDI

USB

Then for the sake of asthetics, I wrapped them both in this to keep the wires together when routing.

10 foot for each, which has worked for me, but 15 might give a bit more flexibility depending on the location of your PC. But part of the benefit of the hanging cables is that as long as your cable can reach diagonally to the opposite corner of your space, (front to back, left to right, and top to bottom. Diagonally in 3 dimensions), then it should be able to reach anywhere in your space. The stock Rift cable can reach diagonally across my space, and my extension cables are just getting my cable to its "start" position in the corner.

Keep in mind these cables don't have a ton of strength, so I recommend getting a hefty command strip hook to statically fix your wire near the ceiling to take a lot of the weight, then the hook cables can split the weight from there as it droops towards your head naturally.

This turned into a bit of a novel but I hope my "lessons learned" are helpful haha

u/AudioPhoenix · 8 pointsr/sysadmin

Ideal data closet for me would be

  • Solid wooden door with a hefty lock or access control and self closing/self locking mechanism
  • Ladder Rack between server and network racks
  • at least one plywood wall for mounting non-rack mountable equipment and all the random phone and ISP related nonsense.
  • at least 3 electrical circuits that have their own breaker. (one for each redundant power supply to the server/battery backup in between and one for everything non-essential
  • Mini-Split AC system (or two)
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Security camera(s)
  • Not carpeted. I'd take polished cement over carpet, but tile is probably ideal.
  • As many power ports as possible, or those really large power strips are great.
  • A phone in the server room is always nice

Another cool thing I've used is this cable wrap
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FW3GTXB

makes things look slick and it's easy to add cables in as needed. I usually just throw a few pieces of velcro around it and call it a day. If you ever have to add a wire you can easily slide it in.
u/Snazzypantss · 3 pointsr/cats

Hopefully someone else will have some good advice, but it sounds to me like he may have Pica. If it is Pica the best thing is to basically keep dangerous things away from him. I would also suggest dog toys, something like an xs or small Kong might be good (they are pretty high quality rubber). If he wants to chew cords you might try something like this. You might also get him some cat grass to give him something he chew up and eat without hurting himself.

u/GamerLucif · 2 pointsr/desksetup

Not sure about cable management in the case for but the desk...

I believe thats a malm desk so it has the rack in the back which means adding another won't be easy (really everything doesn't fit?). You could try using something like this or this with some 3m tape so you can mount the cables on the bottom of the desk so they aren't hanging. You could also wrap the cables to decrease the amount of slack using something like this. Any cables coming from the back of the monitors or the desk you can try using this. You could consider mounting your surge protector on the desk if it is not already so that no cables are dangling down to it and the only thing would be the surge protector wire.

Additional things you could look into would be a boom arm for the mic so its not sitting in the middle, might clean it up a bit. Also, if you are really dedicated to making it look nice and don't tend to rearrange that often, you could look into drilling holes for the wires for the keyboard/mouse (I'm personally not a fan of this method but people do it).

It might take a bit of cash to do ALL of that so maybe just prioritize what you think will give the best results.

u/Lagomorphilic · 3 pointsr/Rabbits

I don't have too much experience with wire coverings, so hopefully someone more experienced will chime in, but as I see it, the type you mentioned are to essentially give you enough time to stop them eating it. It doesn't totally prevent them from eating through it, especially if they are determined. If you are planing on supervising, then wire covers would work perfectly, but if you are hoping to do free reign without supervision sometimes, then you may want to think of a different solution. Perhaps in addition to the wire covers, you could also move them up out of the way or block off areas with wires. I have my alarm clock wire strung through my bedroom door that lads to my bathroom so its a few feet off the ground, and my fish tank cords I just recently wrapped around the leg of my desk so it's high up off the ground (and looks interesting design wise). You could also just put a pen or cardboard fence over the area so the bunny can't get to it in the first place.

As for your actual question, I was googling it, and this website came up. It seems pretty accurate in terms of rabbit proofing. I found this link at the bottom of the page. perhaps that would work for you?

There is also this that I found, which seems much less abrasive then the other kind as it is smooth.

If you want something permanent that they actually can't chew through, I have seen pictures of people using pvc piping and running it around their house with the wires inside.

u/SirPepeSilva · 2 pointsr/cableporn

Thank you good Sir!

I used these cable clips below.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075Y9J42T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I did a lot of research of several types of cable clips on Amazon and after using these ones i would definitely recommend. The adhesive is very strong compared to others. I just put these all over the back of the edge table and routed the cables through them. Worked like a charm! I also used three of them to clip the power strips to the bottom of the desk. I would cut the zip tie of one of them and run the other two zip ties through 1. I don't know if that makes sense. I can add pictures. Might be easier to understand.

u/telos0 · 4 pointsr/WindowsMR

I bought a Vive Link Box to use as a signal/power booster in the middle, and it works great. This cured all my dropouts and audio glitches, as well as giving my system a Bluetooth radio.

This setup works great:

  1. Vive Link Box
  2. Vive Link Box Power Supply
  3. 12 ft Power cable extension for Vive Link Box
  4. 10 ft USB 3.0 extension cable
  5. 10 ft Amazon Basics HDMI cable
  6. Wire wrap to keep everything tidy

Make sure you power cycle the Vive Link Box whenever you plug or unplug anything into it to for it to reinitialize and detect the headset.

I really wish there was a more elegant solution, but so far this works the best for me.

Also you might consider a crate for her when she can’t be supervised, just like we do for dogs. You can find pretty large ones, big enough for you to walk into and hang out, which you can do while training her what a great place it is. Feed her only in there, put her favorite toys and comforts in there, and she’ll learn to like it.

  • Cable management cord tube, use scissors to cut it into multiple parts.

  • Get a new surge protector, something like this. It will sit flat and you now can plug everything into it.

  • Want to get super cable management happy? Buy a bucket of cable tie mounts. After you have consoles and other devices in place figure out the best way to run the cables along the back between them then stick some cable tie mounts down and use a releasable cable tie, don't use standard cable ties unless you are going to leave some slack for cutting easier later without risking damage to your cords

  • You're already using one CD portfolio holder, why not get another large one and dedicate it entirely to games. If you do that and put the empty cases away in a box you could then put other things on the upper shelf like controllers

u/Taskerland · 2 pointsr/retrogaming

Cable snake like this can be expensive and a pain to re-organize if you make changes to your set-up, but it really looks great. Plus there are places that sell customized colors.

Gonna be an awesome set-up whatever you do, I see a handful of my for-real favorites in there.

u/Bohan_of_Rohan · 5 pointsr/battlestations

I've set up many desks and these are always my go to for cable management. They are super easy and fast so set up and more importantly, they are really easy to make changes to. And they look fantastic!

u/Altair05 · 1 pointr/battlestations

> Are the cable management tubes any good?

Yeah, definitely! But I recommend something like this over one of these spiral ones. They don't cost much more and are easier to handle. Plus, they would allow the cables to move easily so you won't have that snagging problem(cable ties) with the charger and headphones.

u/fikske_en_rikske · 1 pointr/ebikes

I use pas 99% of the time. Based on my use, a thumb throttle to give some extra boost on a steep climb works perfect, when riding the throttle full time twist is probably better.

I did not have a gear sensor, but installed one after breaking my chain 3 times in a week. (I shift a lot)

For battery you can't go wrong with a shark pack with good Samsung/Panasonic cells.

I use the "52v Mini 3amp Advanced Charger with 3 Position Toggle" from Luna. It works fine, a bit noisy though.

On an old bike buy the brake levers with cutoff sensor built in.

If your shift cables are running in grooves under the bottom bracket instead of cable housing you will need to buy a new shift cable + housing.

What you (probably) need as well:

  • Crank puller (Just buy it, a bbs02 kit is not install and forget it.)
  • BB removal tool (depends on the type, you can have your bike shop do this.)
  • Depending on the type of pedals you need a special narrow key to remove them.
  • Lots of zip ties
  • A bunch of washers with 6mm hole to put between the motor and lock bracket
  • Green Loctite (put on the bbs02 lock ring and crank bolts)
  • Some rubber padding (old bike inner tube works) to put between frame and motor
  • Dielectric grease (to make electric connections waterproof)
  • Assorted Metric Hex keys (5mm, 6mm, 8mm)
  • Small Philips head screwdriver.
  • Optional cable sleeves

this is what i went with for my headphones. they are absolutely amazing. then i popped a modmic onto them and used this for the wiring. best "gaming headset" ive ever had.

There is cheaper and more expensive options. but i really liked the aluminum frame, and open stage. its a sound like ive never had before. doesn't feel like my games audio are being injected into my ear, but more like im there.

u/AtomicFlx · 5 pointsr/steampunk

Use a fabric wrapped cord. You can simply replace the cord with a new fabric one from someplace like this:

https://www.colorcord.com/pages/fabric-wire

Or, if you are not comfortable rewiring things, you can get fabric cord covers, or some that look kinda fabric like this one, but perhaps in a different color:

https://www.amazon.com/PET-Expandable-Braided-Sleeving-10ft/dp/B00ZATLUZ0

You can use a bit of electrical tape to add a nice clean end on the braided sleeving. I'm sure there are fabric versions somewhere that might look a little better.

u/Chimeros · 3 pointsr/Vive

I've been using a sleeve for cables that does a great job preventing this. It won't stop it forever, but it takes way more to get it tight and tangled. I can usually go through a play session of several hours without it bunching up on itself, then I just untangle what little bit is there when I'm done. This is the sleeve, and I secure it to the cables with these. It works beautifully.

u/ggcadc · 1 pointr/headphones

I just got the ad500x, the cable is long, not the best but not NEARLY as bad as the complaints make it out to be. Im using mine with a modmic so I have TWO cables to deal with and I plan on sleeving them together. The modmic has a cable the same length which is good because they need to reach the back panel of my computer and I have a larger desk and like a little freedom to move around.

my thought is this, the point of headphones is sound, if the one drawback you see is a cable, youve made an excellent compromise. You can fix it with this: https://www.amazon.com/PET-Expandable-Braided-Sleeving-10ft/dp/B00ZATLUZ0 if you really want to.

edit-fyi these replaced my steelseries siberia 800 (so wireless to terrible cable lol) and are much cleaner and the soundstage exists(I thought the atmos was working but its clearly limited in closed headphones). Overwatch and bf1 have much more directionality, I pushed a little more low end through them and they sound relatively neutral(flat).

u/Regnant · 5 pointsr/chinchilla

Great idea! I might have to do this myself!

As for protecting the cord, you could try one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Cord-Protector-CritterCord-Protect-Hazardous/dp/B000EH2I5O

Springs work well too since they're metal. I'm sure a trip to your local hardware store can probably help for finding random plastic tubes that could fit over a cord!

u/JasonGGorman · 1 pointr/Vive

You can get what is called a cable sock. I've done this, it works pretty well, but the sock is a bit rough in texture. This is the exact sock I bought. It expands to allow the cables through. It fit the 3in1 plus a leap motion usb cable, so it will probably work for what you want. It is actually roomy once you get the plug ends through (you inch worm through the sock). This works much better than any sort of spaced along ties (I've also tried that).

It would be easiest to go over the door and run along the trim

To go in front of the door you'll probably use something like this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00006HVLW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1458599703&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=floor+cable+cover&dpPl=1&dpID=41F1ZA0DVPL&ref=plSrch

But it's not gonna look at that good and good luck getting it to stick to the ground and stay

u/aestes89 · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

No problem, yeah it definitely helps to see it before you buy it. I never adjust the legs to standing. Not saying you can't, but it would be a huge hassle, as you'd have to adjust each leg individually. However, I'm a tall guy, so I like that I can make this desk a LOT taller than any desk at OfficeDepot.

For cable management, I bought:

http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-AD2X2-2x2-Inch-Wiring-Raceway/dp/B00008VFAP/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1456856627&sr=8-11&keywords=cable+channel

and attached it to the bottom with some short wood screws. It does the job ok, but there are probably cheaper options, not to mention I didn't measure and had to cut it to size with a hacksaw as it was WAY longer than I thought it'd be. Does an OK job of hiding cables though, and pretty sturdy. I believe ikea sells something similar for pretty cheap though. Maybe look while you're there:

u/Ravahan · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Underneath my desk i have 2 ikea signums holding all my cables, and if i need to route the cables somewhere specific like behind my monitor I use some sort of zip tie mounting plate together with zip tie's of course! Just take your time and route the cables however you like them.

Hey man. It really doesn't take much. :)

But don't worry. If you still want to be on /r/shittybattlestations even after your cables look all nice, you can just mount your hard drives by duct taping the shit out of them to your case. A shittybattlestations masterpiece!

bundle them together in one thick sleeve. Having a fabric sleeve lie on your desk is imo better tham a lot of different wires :)

I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/OmniMount-OECMS-Neoprene-Cable-Management/dp/B004M8SSW8/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1492424504&sr=8-5&keywords=cable+sleeve

It's white or black (turn it inside out) and it's better than other sleeves imo because of the holes it has: you can let wires run in or out at any point you want, so it would be perfect for the cables from your mouse&kb, and you can let the sleeve run all the way to the top of your desktop, so the wires only exit the sleeve at the exact height they neet to be plugged in. Tuck away all the loose wire you have into the sleeve, and I think it'll be much tidier.

u/PandaReich · 1 pointr/Multicopter

Heat shrink, why only pick one size?

If you're planning on using a lot of heat shrink it might be a good investment to get a heatgun, although a lighter works just fine.

[Cable sleeves] (https://www.amazon.com/PET-Expandable-Braided-Sleeving--10ft/dp/B00ZATLUZ0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1467915160&sr=8-3&keywords=cable+sleeve) on amazon, there are multiple different sizes you can pick from, a quick search will net you tons of results.

A Helping Hand can be nice, but isn't needed.

You'll need to get a wire stripper or an x-acto knife and a careful hand. A hot glue gun is necessary IMO, it will protect and insulate your solder points as well as hold cables down IF you don't have zip ties. Also get zip ties. I made use of a wood file I had so I could smooth out some of the sharp carbon fiber edges on my frame, just don't breath in the fiber dust. I keep my quad in a backpack, my tool and extra parts are all in a box under my desk. Organization is not my strong suit.

u/YucA305 · 1 pointr/CableManagement

20mm is close to 3/4". Techflex sells their sleeving closed, or opened like this. This stuff looks super clean and still allows you add/remove cables easily. If this will be a one time permanent install you can get their solid stuff and heat shrink the ends.

Something like these?

I would also recommend checking out the Neoprine Omnimount, which is excellent for tidying cables in an entertainment center

u/i_draw_touhou · 4 pointsr/buildapcsales

These are wonderful! While I don't use the ones in the post, (I use these, which are easily cut to size, cheaper, and imo better-looking), I absolutely love the tidiness that it has made the back of my computer desk!

There are few things more satisfying than seeing a single wire coming down from the back of the desk carrying all the usb cables, monitor cables, and power cables, that goes to the back of the computer and the power strip. Cable management was the one thing I never knew I needed in my life until these guys swooped in and brought me to heaven.

I am not a neat freak by any stretch of the imagination, but for some reason cable management strikes my fancy to the extent that I will willingly re-wire any of my friends' computer desks just to get the satisfaction of watching a terrifying hellscape of wires transformed into a single, pure, line.

...

So uh... yeah, buy these, or these.

u/riscohardy · 3 pointsr/battlestations

A third monitor I think, but that's just my opinion. I like it how it is. Nice and clean with plenty of desk space.

Just a thought on your computer build, might want to get a cable comb for your mobo power cable. Your case is so nice and tidy inside, but the cable takes away from that.

Here is just an example, you can find them really cheap and really all you need is the mobo cord one

Don't believe the price on their website, by the way. It's like $25 bucks on Amazon.

Assuming your cables are long enough to wrap into a couple thicker bundles Id suggest buying some nylon sleeves, and some velcro ties. Then you can get some little stick squares and selectively zip tie them to bottom of table.

Sleeve: https://www.amazon.com/Techflex-PTN0-50BK25-General-Purpose-Braided/dp/B004UHQNUU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1504071017&sr=8-2&keywords=nylon+cable+sleeve

(Can try finding the above in white too for more stealth)

Cable ties:
https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Self-Adhesive-Strap-Extendable/dp/B01L91P670/ref=sr_1_21?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1504071102&sr=1-21&keywords=velcro+ties

(Look for this kind, these are kinda overpriced, but the loop allows you to get it nice and snug)

Zip ties squares: https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Backed-100-Pack-Nova-White/dp/B072R6GFKW/ref=sr_1_cc_4?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1504071156&sr=1-4-catcorr&keywords=zip+tie+squares

(Then just some zip ties to use with the above to attach to bottom of desk/wall)

These are similar to options ive been using a combination of for years, and allows you to tuck all the wires away super cleanly so you dont have to look at them or get them caught around your feet.

These are the black ones. They look like generic no-name ones, but maybe it'll help you.

Unfortunately I didn't find out that EK GPU and CPU blocks have similar enough flow rates that you can run them in parallel, otherwise I would have definitely considered that, I think parallel loops can look really great. But by the time I found out I'd already ordered all my parts and EK shipping is like minimum $20-30 per order even if you only add $5 of parts. Overseas shipping sucks.

I'm quite partial to stuff like this

Haven't used that particular brand, the stuff I have is from Best Buy and has a velcro closure along the split, but I can't find in on their site.

As Unisenon pointed out, Velcro straps are much better than zip ties, as you can add and remove cables easily. The only time I would use zip ties is when you know the two cables won't be separated. (The data and power cables for my USB hub for instance, they both go to the same spot, and I'm not going to be using one without the other.)

u/salaryprotection · 2 pointsr/buildapc

You can go a number of ways with the Twist/Cable ties. Twist ties seem to imply those bendable wire ties, which I'm not too fond of since they can become undone.

There are these trusty zip ties, which are strong and handy if your case comes with holes to thread the ties through. You can also cut the excess tie for a more appealing appearance (not so with twist ties).

I also like velcro ties for bigger cables and also for cable management outside your tower (mice and keyboard cords, power cables, speaker cables, etc). They're reusable, and it's easy to add cables to a bundle without having to undo the entire existing bundle.

If you're getting an SSD, you also might want to get a 2.5" SSD tray if your case doesn't come with one.

As for tools, precision screwdrivers are handy for small screws and for reaching deep into the case. An alternative to magnetic tip screwdrivers are long nosed pliers.

u/maxrip · 5 pointsr/DeskCableManagement

Easy fix.

Use cable trays on the bottom of the desk: https://www.amazon.com/WireTamer-Cable-Management-Tray-Black/dp/B01BVYW7UY/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=cable+tray&qid=1571879377&sr=8-4

Then screw in a large strip cord to the bottom: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036DEC48/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Then run them down the legs from the bottom of the desk, just use Velcro straps or something :)

You should have n+1 litter boxes for the cats, where n is the number of cats. So ideally you should have 3 litter boxes in your situation.

Do they have elevated places to sit and survey the room(s)? There should ideally be one for each of your cats so territory wars don't ensue.

Also what does 'smelly dumps' mean? Have they always been smelly or is this a new development? If it's a new development, and not a result of a diet change, you should take him to a vet. And yea, like someone else already asked, what kind of cat litter are you using?

Regarding cables, they make stuff like this.

u/zilla0100 · 2 pointsr/HomeImprovement

The easy solution would just be a box and a sticky back wire trough. It isnt as pretty as some more intrusive fixes but it would be easy and cheap and look around 300% more professional.

Put all the splices in a box with a blank face and have the wires come out straight into the wire trough that sticks to the wall until they dive back into the drywall. The troughs even come with 90's to do the turn.

Something like this,

https://www.amazon.com/Stageek-Management-Concealer-Organizer-Computers/dp/B07FFN2HN6

you can get them in different colors. I use white to conceal my VR setup base station power cables.

Or you could start cutting open the drywall to put the cables in and patch it up. You'll still probably need a box to access those connections though, I'm not sure what code is for that stuff.

u/Lee_Ars · 6 pointsr/homelab

It's a super-cheap 1U cable management tray from Amazon :D The front panel is a little flimsy, but it works perfectly fine for shoving cables into.

u/slaymance · 1 pointr/DeskCableManagement

I use the StarTech cable raceway and it has done absolute wonders for my cable management. I have a sit/stand desk with no back, so having cables hanging down from my desk was not an option. So I got this raceway and attached it to the underside of my desk using some Scotch mounting tape. Some of my notes:

  • Made of soft plastic, so I was able to cut it with wire cutters to fit the length of my desk
  • Slots along the entire length, so cables can come in from all directions
  • Lots of space and I still have plenty of room after having all my cables stuffed in there. If your desk is decently long, it shouldn't have trouble storing a modern laptop power brick

Of course :) I recently bought these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FFN2HN6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and find them quite useful but I don't know if they're available outside the UK. One thing to bear in mind is to make sure if you have a wired headset or mouse that it has enough space. I solved this by letting my headset cord loose behind the drawers and it's working really well so far!

I just bought the Modmesh Pro RT series (for Seasonic PSU's) kit, so they are all just standard length from their website. There is a little slack behind the cable cover in the back, but not a ton. The only one that's really too long is the molex cable for the pump, and to get the DRGB and the fan hub, and the two drives, and the temp sensor I have is 5 sata power, and the default one comes with a 4 and a 2, so I had to use both, the 4 is a little long, but not too bad, though the 2 is obviously more than I needed for the 1 extra sata power.

And then I bought a couple of these for cable combs as they looked the most like the Cablemod ones: https://www.amazon.com/Pieces-24-pin-8-pin-Gesleeved-0-13inch/dp/B0756XF5ZQ/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=cable+combs&qid=1570029329&s=electronics&sr=1-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExS0xMWExHMkhJMVlaJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDQwNjI2MzY4Q0pBWDhDTjVYVyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTczOTg0MjdGWFRYRk8ySDZOWiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

For your TV or a lot of your cables in general, get some cheap cable wrap like the kind linked below. You'd be surprised how much cleaner a single bundled wire looks. Here's my
Desk. Didn't want to cut a another hole to run the wires and the cords weren't long enough to go through the exciting one for the tv. This was only going to be temporary by it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

Twist ties work, but they look a bit sloppy.

The zip ties are okay, but they're permanent, and kind of suck if you want to move things around later.

Velcro ties are alright. But I find they're usually too long, and end up wrapping them around and around and around, which makes the ties look bulky, and unkempt.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O9VKVFK/

If you have a big bunch of cables all going the same way, you can use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004M8SSW8

I used one of those for my V-drum set. You know, with each drum head and cymbal having its own chord running around the frame to the drum unit, it looked much, much nicer when they were all bundled and covered together.

The nice thing about those big cable sleeves is that they're wide enough to run a cable through doubled over without pinching anything. You know, if the cable is too long, just loop it back around to the other end and back again through the tube until the length is right where you need it.

Aside from that, and if you have cables that need to be out in the open (like mic cables), just try to coil the excess neatly under the mic stand so it doesn't look quite so messy. And coil them loosely around the stand so they don't stand out or wave around so much.

u/mike2048 · 1 pointr/mildlyinteresting

Not bad, stand does not look too heavy to move away from the wall in case you need to make changes. Pro-tips (used to wire AV racks):

  • Whenever possible use velcro instead of zipties
  • Label your cables on each end with a number / letter
  • Use a raceway to manage a large number of cables

I Like the stand design, works nicely for multiple systems. You can add a metal angle right behind the top trim piece to take out the sag.
u/condor57 · 2 pointsr/battlestations

Oh crap didn't realize it went all the way back. Ignore my suggestion about the monitor stand (unless you want to drill a hole in your desk..)

Actuallyyy that would be one way to get the cables out of site. drill a hole behind your monitor.. But if you didn't want to do that you could try a cable sleeve like this maybe? Just run it along the bottom edge? https://www.amazon.com/Alex-Tech-10ft-Protector-Sleeving/dp/B07FW3GTXB/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=cable+sleeve&qid=1550156179&s=gateway&sr=8-6

Also the fact of the desk means my RGB idea wouldn't work either. But you could put them on the back of your monitor and that could be cool. I literally just bought these and am very happy with the qualilty. They worked better than the first ones I got from Wall mart...https://www.amazon.com/PANGTON-VILLA-Led-Strip-Lights/dp/B072QWJRBS/ref=lp_18423905011_1_1?srs=18423905011&ie=UTF8&qid=1550156289&sr=8-1

You could use a braided sleeve over it. I have it on my 3 in 1. Here is the one I have on mine, but you might be able to use a thinner version if you can fit it around the ends. It strengthens it and keeps from getting tight twists.

If you want to pretty up the wiring a little bit you can use this wire-wrap:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYF1GDV/

It has the benefit of being able to spiral around your wires in-place instead of needing to slip over a severed wire. If it's not the exact same stuff that's on the extruder wires it's pretty dang close.

u/jasondcannon · 1 pointr/Vive

Ok I'm pretty sure it's this one from amazon

u/Sewwattsnew · 12 pointsr/Pets

I wouldn't put them outside, especially if they've gone so long without learning how to stay safe out there. If your neighbors are so far away, I'd be worried about what sort of wildlife you have in your area. I doubt the cats are maliciously targeting your things alone, they probably have just decided that "wires over here are fun" and not extended the concept to other wires. Or they like chewing on wires that were near you.

I watched my cat destroy a cell phone cord one day. It was quite thin, he just casually walked up and bit it, the way outdoor cats will approach long blades of grass, and that was it. It was too thin to hold up to even one bite. It wasn't malicious, and I think he was as surprised as I was that it broke so easily. (Although maybe the look of surprise was that I was rushing towards him saying, "No! Bad cat!")

Regardless, it sounds like you need to protect your wires. Bitter sprays have never really worked on my cat, but are worth a shot. I'd personally go with wire covers. (I'd put one on your wife's mouse, too, just in case they re-direct their attention to it when they can't get to yours. I'd also cover any wires that are similarly thin.)

There are a lot of options. This one looks like it might be exactly what you need. There's also a larger size for power cords. Or, if you want to cover every wire, there's a bulk option.

You might also want to provide them with cat grass so they have an appropriate outlet for all their chewing.

u/j-mar · 2 pointsr/HomeDecorating

I have this on my bedroom TV's wires. It does the job for me. There are obviously other "better" (more permanent) and other "cheaper" options, but this solution is great for me.

u/BassheadGamer · 1 pointr/AskBattlestations

You didn’t state a budget so I’m just gonna suggest these for more room/ cleaner work area: Bigger desk (at least 55” in width), monitor mounts, cable raceways/cable box for all of your cable management needs.

For a desk I would suggest looking into something like an IKEA Bekant, the one I linked is the bigger one, 63” x 31”and that should give you more room to work with for textbooks on the desk.

For monitors mounting is best (imo) so you can have that much more room to push stuff alll the way back to take advantage of the depth. This monitor arm Is good.

For cable management I would suggest this raceway. It comes with 9 15” long pieces that you can mount under your desk. I would use some command strips to hold them in place. Use the raceway to feed all your cables through to a cable management box, Something similar to this one, so you can stuff in the excess cables and make it look nicer. Just have the box behind your pc or along on of the desk legs.
NOTE: the IKEA Bekant does come included with a cable management pouch/net under the desk but imo with 2 monitors, a switch, and keyboard it would be too much worse for that little thing.

Ps: you don’t have to use the stuff I listed, there’s always alternatives if you have a question just ask, I’ll see if I can help.

u/Vertisce · 4 pointsr/pcmasterrace

u/Geedunk · 3 pointsr/battlestations

Leave a little space between your desk and the wall and either get a cable tray or check and see if your surge protector has slots on the bottom that you can use to hang it off screws.

Braided sleeving and velco strips will work wonders, or use a combination of the two depending on how much you have to deal with. It's on you to hide all of it behind your monitor stand for minimal appearance, but with a little work it'll look great!

u/dmanners · 2 pointsr/homelab

Here's what I've got in between the switches. They're entirely for cable management, and they get the job done well.

As far as Synology over Drobo, FreeNAS, or QNAP? My office purchased a Synology for a project and I fell in love with how simple it was. I couldn't really break it, no matter how hard I tried :)

That's not something you would typically see, a better solution is to run a cable channel to hold the wires and keep then concealed. If you decide to go with the tape method, use something like masking tape or even painters tape, otherwise you risk peeling the paint off the wall.

I purchased 10' extensions for the HDMI/USB/Audio cables and then (this is key) wrapped them in these.

A costly upgrade but I haven't had a single wire issue since. You still get wrapped up if you're not careful but it's easy enough between rounds to see which way you need to turn during the next round to undo it.

I didn't want anything too permanent in case I needed to alter my setup and I couldnt modify the desk. Everything below is just for inspiration purposes, as I'm sure much more could be done for much less. This should cover some common items in cable management, though.

This is the route I took. I didn't really have the cable length to play with at the time and didn't feel like messing with more cables.

The key players here are dmoose power box to hold a large belkin outlet filled to the brim with power cables and transformer boxes. Good ventilation on the box and no thermal issues.

For the behind the monitor stuff I used reusable cable ties to bundle runs together and sleeved them with zipper wire organizers .

I always put a small zip-tie through the lock spot on my luggage and carry a handful more in my "personal bag" to re-close my bag after it's searched and at the other end.

It's about as secure as a typical luggage lock (can be taken off with a pair of pliers) and accomplishes all of the same objectives:

  • It discourages people from casually prying into my luggage.
  • It stops the zipper opening itself in transit.
  • It lets me know if someone has been in my luggage.

Save yourself some time and money and get yourself a hundred of these suckers for like $4.

If you want the 'I dont want to see any hanging wires look', you might get good results if you mount the power strip beneath your desk. Since it seems rather large it may be heavy. You can either screw it into your desk or you could try heavy duty Velcro Strips. There are also under desk trays and baskets you can use to just hold everything.

If you dont mind some wires showing, you can try sleeves for the cables and use a cable box for the power strip.

I really recommend This!

Really can find it anywhere and maybe some cable ties. You can pick them up at any hardware store. If you want to keep it simple!

Snake your cable in this cable sleeve and it will never twist again. It is also more comfortable when it hangs off your back.

u/schwarzkopf123 · 1 pointr/battlestations

You should grab something like these for your wires and it will be a damn near perfect setup.

https://www.amazon.com/Cord-Protector-CritterCord-Protect-Hazardous/dp/B000EH2I5O is good for cords (also micro cord for usb cables). Gl with the rest, lol. They smell a lot at first but it dimishes (for you) as they air out.

u/Ukeee · 1 pointr/Amd

This looks really good!

All I can think of now is to get some cable combs to get those cables organized.

u/BL24L · 1 pointr/oculus

Yeah I checked it out again and it's more like $60 to do it correctly @ 16' with a repeater and ceiling mount. Think that $80 - $100 included extending the sensors.

Still it gets to the point that's it's enough money that I would prefer to spend more and have the headset wireless.

I bought 2 of these cable sleeves for the vive cable. Doesn't seem to tangle as much with it, but it still does with games that require you to do quick turns like Holopoint. http://www.amazon.com/AGPtEK-Neoprene-Adjustable-Management-Entertainment/dp/B017XDM3VK?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

Maybe an Ikea cabinet to go under the desk, you can take two legs off and prop the desk on two legs on one side and the cabinet on the other, that will help with moving things off your desk (electrical tape, Xbox game, controller)

u/iksworbeZ · 3 pointsr/vaporents

Sounds like the tubing on the whip may have been stretched a little too much or too often. You might want to try cutting maybe two inches off of it... alternatively you could try using the smallest size zip ties to 'clamp' the rubber to the glass... youll obviously want to be careful that you do not break the glass.

The last idea I would suggest you try is to take a rubber band and try to hold it down with the rubber band by looping it over and over and over the last little end bit where the tubing and the glass meet.

u/Dysthymike · 2 pointsr/WindowsMR

I got all that from a comment that I can't find from a thread months back. The commenter also suggested Wire Wrap which I also use and has worked well. It did take forever to get it on, though, and there was a lot leftover.

Also, other people here have mentioned having to turn off the Vive Link to get it working, I just unplug the Power Supply Adapter from the Vive Link every time I'm done with it and that seems to work. I also disconnect the HDMI/USB/Power Supply Adapter from the computer, the Odyssey+ and the power supply as well when I'm done, instead of leaving anything plugged in.

u/flawlesssin · 2 pointsr/oculus

Because it won't work. You have to have an HDMI repeater, which generally costs $10-15. They also have cable sleeving on them which is about $7-8.

I was looking into making one but for everything you see it's will cost about $35-40 for a 10' extension plus having to deal with sleeving cables. I don't think $20 extra is too bad a deal to have everything assembled and sent to your door. Especially if you hate cable sleeving like me.

You could always just use cable ties and it'd make it about $30 and a little easier, but if you don't like ugly cables the sleeving is the way to go.

For anyone wondering here's my list of items needed to make one (please note I have not personally tested any of these cables. These are recommendations from another user (I think OP)):

u/ZenithPrime · 2 pointsr/battlestations

Looks ok but gluing wires to anything would give me anxiety. Not to mention if one falls off the glue, you have to get the whole glue gun set up back out, plug it in, wait for to heat up, and glue it back. I'd recommend something like this.

u/TurtleBoiCudge · 10 pointsr/battlestations

This would look 10x better if you fixed those cables. I would use this for the monitor cables and this for the PC cables.

u/nickolasstone · 2 pointsr/audiophile

OOOh. Icky. Ya don't do that. Although you might be able to get just a little cable concealer. That would still look better than hanging it.

u/Thashiznit2003 · 1 pointr/apple

This worked for me, after going through 4 mag safe adapters in 6 months.

u/Zatchillac · 1 pointr/battlestations

What about routing the other cables along the power strip to the outlet and using a sleeve to cover all the cables? Maybe something like this: https://www.amazon.com/TechFlex-General-Purpose-2-inch-Braided/dp/B004UHQMYW/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511982098&sr=1-8&keywords=sleeve+for+cables

These are kind of similar, its what I use for alot of stuff http://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Cable-mounts-25x25-100pcs/dp/B003L16ZYU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1458821693&sr=8-5&keywords=adhesive+cable+clips. You can use zip ties around them so you can make nice bundles and what not.

u/Cspaulding · 1 pointr/battlestations

I have a P5 mounted to the wall. I use this mounted to the wall running down to my desk: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00008VFAP/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That way I can have all the cables exit the channel at the places they need to plug in, I really like the setup a lot.

u/PhillipMignon · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

You can Buy Braided sleeving,

https://www.amazon.com/PET-Expandable-Braided-Sleeving-10ft/dp/B00ZATLUZ0

Can put several cable in there, they are black and will even help with cable management.

u/Biggs_Wedge · 1 pointr/Vive

It does. I did it and almost never had that problem. Edit: this is what I've used for like 6 months. Sorry it's 25 ft I use an extension on my vive amazon

u/TheStork74 · 1 pointr/battlestations

I bought Panduit off amazon and screwed it to the bottom of my desk in the back works great.

u/noncongruent · 0 pointsr/LifeProTips

I just attach a length of Panduit cable organizer to the underside of the desk. Keeps the cables tidy and out of the way, and if (or likely when) I need access I just pop the cover off to access the cables. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-AD2X2-2x2-Inch-Wiring-Raceway/dp/B00008VFAP/ref=sr_1_2?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1492529771&sr=1-2&keywords=panduit

u/dakkottadavviss · 1 pointr/CableManagement

Quick and dirty way would be to take excess cabling and just tape it to the back of that wood. The better way to do it though is to buy those adhesive tie down points to route your cables.

Something like this.

http://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Cable-mounts-25x25-100pcs/dp/B003L16ZYU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1451691042&sr=8-2&keywords=adhesive+tie+mounts

u/Sandilini · 2 pointsr/battlestations

In regards to your cable question on Imgur,

Ikea Signum if you can fit it. Put the power strip and all of the cables in it and the only wire that will be visible under the desk is the power strip to the outlet.

For the monitor cables, you can get some adhesive zip tie downs and stick them on the back of the monitors to run the cables to the center monitor and then run those down the back of the mounting arm.

u/Carlhr93 · 4 pointsr/pcmasterrace
