Assuming you are referring to this?

I mean, it seems like a novel use for it but I wouldn't want to put that on my snake and/or rely on it. Even with a scrunchie and the potential they would slide free of it, I wouldn't want my snake having free roam of my apartment. Other than it being a mess, I don't know if I'd consider it "snake safe". Plus, what if the snake is out and you step on it because you don't know where it is? It sounds like your suggestion is to use the locator when you are ready to put the snake back in, which wouldn't give real-time location of the snake.
>I have other things to do then watch my snake like a baby walking by the side of the pool, 24/7 while she's out of her cage
When I take my snake out of her enclosure, it's because I a taking time to focus on and enjoy her. She gets all my attention and if she wants to wander off my physical person (where I can see and feel her at all times), then I watch her like a hawk and redirect her if I feel that she is going someplace I don't want her to go.
Tile is a nice poor-man's lowjack, with downsides, and ways to mitigate them:
-Tile is fantastic if you live in a city since there's people walking around with tile apps CONSTANTLY. Outside of urban areas its usefulness drops off enormously.
-Stick to the tile pro for the longer range and stronger signal, wish they made a big PRO-pro with huge range
-Put MULTIPLE tile pros on your scooter. Like, three, in disparate places, but have one very visible in a weather resistant pouch like https://www.amazon.com/Fintie-Replaceable-Anti-Scratch-Lightweight-Semi-Transparent/dp/B07VCJ3Y7S .
-Anyone who grabs the scooter has a decent chance of ditching the first tile and then won't go looking for any more, thinking they succeeded. Also, having 2+ makes gives the tiles a much better chance of getting connections to nearby phones.
I haven't had my scooter stolen yet but people who use the above tactics on stuff like gym bags can often get borderline realtime updates on their bag's whereabouts, which CAN be given to police as evidence of theft
So there's a lot of stuff on my list.. I mean TONS ... but
1The most wanted item I want is actually something I came across earlier today.
Bluetooth pet tag My cat Chloe, aka my meow meow has gotten out of the house twice now. I was devastated both times. I hate thinking about it. But she's my baby, and I can't lose her. Sure she has a chip, and 2 other tags but knowing that I can load up an app and try to find her just seems like a fantastic idea!
The first time she got out, she didn't come home for a couple of days. Every day after work I came home and called out her. "Meow meow, where's my meow meow"? Finally she meowed back. I was frantic. I traced her meow back to the chainlink fence line behind my apartment building. Of course I lived in the back of the complex with no easy access to go back there. I didn't want to take the time to go all the way around the complex and have her end up wandering off. To be fair it's a huge complex. I ran back in my apartment, and grabbed a pair of mini bolt cutters I had purchased for wire craft projects. I ran back outside and cut a hole in the fenceline. I got my baby back. Even my fiance was upset she was missing because he knows that's my baby.
The second time, she got out the patio door and I found her on the patio. I'm not sure why she didn't wander far, but I think it partly has to do with the fact that I cover her claws with vinyl caps and she couldn't climb the fence. I could be wrong, either way I'm thankful she didn't get far.
2 I definately gifted before
3 I really don't talk one on one to .. well pretty much anyone.. but if I had to choose someone, I'd say /u/BoiseState7 I tried to help him with a fish issue, and he seems nice :)
4 What do you do to relax and unwind?
5 You're pretty! (◕◡◕✿)
Easiest/Laziest solution I've seen is a Tile taped to the bottom of the quad. Problem with those is that their buzzer is quite, and they give you a pretty vague idea as to where the item is. It simply tells you when the last time it 'spoke' with your device over bluetooth.
Honestly the best solution is to solder on a buzzer, and hotglue it down so it doesnt disconnect in a bad crash(when you'll need it the most). As well make sure your lipo connection is protected so it does not easily disconnect in a crash. I suggest strapping it in with the battery strap.
I'm not sure what the conversion makes it but I'm fairly certain you're looking at the single pack. Here's amazon with a 4-pack of Tile Sports, about $82.
Maybe it's just Android then where it doesn't; i sell them and it will only ping my phone if i have the app running. Regardless though the ability to find these things when not in range is a huge plus, and to have an apple product with your iPhone is worth the extra couple dollars. It will turn it from a "oh this is a good gift" to "i need to buy that for myself".
I've been thinking the same thing. I just got my BB also, but i was looking into some sort of tracking thing i can attach to the bottom of the board. I found a thing called Tile. It is apparently a Bluetooth tracker that can be located from your phone. Here is a amazon link.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B011HT921K/ref=twister_B01A0MTS3W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I don't actually know how good it is (sorry). It seems that it can be easily attached to the board with some double-sided tape. I hope i helped!
If you can, leave your bike indoors when you're not using it. Most apartments don't have a problem with keeping your bike inside, and if you ride to work many workplaces will let you keep it in a storeroom or the warehouse. If you still need to lock up outside, try and do it in a visible area and under a security camera. Any of the locks mentioned below should do the trick.
Another great tip is to put a Tile on your bike. They cost about $30 and they are a little tag that helps you find any object. Put one under your seat or a spot that's not easily visible. When your bike is stolen you can send out a notice and all other tile users in the area will help look for it without them even knowing. It uses the tile app that's on your phone. You can buy these at Best Buy, Walmart, Canadian Tire etc or on Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01L3VEC08/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_PbnbzbT19K37Z
Practical but still very creative How many times have you lost something?
/u/sikersink I loved your advice to me a while back. Cheers to being yourself ☺
If it's important enough that it's causing this much emotional difficulty, it's important enough to invest a bit of money into a way of tracking it down when (not if) you lose it.
Here's one way.
You bother because things matter to you, and because not everything is bad. Yes, you have limitations. Yes, they suck immensely. But you also started a business, which means you have strengths too. Most people don't and couldn't do that. You don't start your own business without creativity and the ability to problem-solve. ADHD just brings a unique set of problems, and the solution is never "I'm just awful and should give up" (no matter how much it feels like it when they hit!). Invest in coping tools like Tile. Reach out to other people for support (if you can't solve a problem yourself, maybe you can outsource some of it to others) - because you are not alone. You got this.
It appears to be on American Amazon, but under a different name and the reviews aren't as kind:
http://www.amazon.com/Remote-Wireless-Locator-Transmitter-Receivers/dp/B007IPSXFO/ref=pd_sim_e_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=088TA6GGFFFP0MF78817
Judging by the reviews, there appear to be two main issues: the finder goes off randomly which can be really annoying and some of the units within a set simply don't work.
This one seems to have much better reviews but the range is limited to about 15 feet. Still helpful though: http://www.amazon.com/Click-Receivers-Wireless-Keyfinder-Batteries/dp/B009JJKZSK/ref=pd_sim_auto_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1EZ41XXXWBDWT3H1ZTTF
Hope that helps!
I'd say stick a tile on its collar. Did it to my dog that loves to wander and it's super helpful.
Don't beat yourself up. It's tough to be a mom!
I also suffered from pretty bad memory loss (if that's what you'd call it - I couldn't ever keep track of my things or things I needed to do!). To help with that, I actually kept a To-Do List in my purse and also set alarms on my phone so that if I needed to call the dentist's office to set an appointment before they closed at 3pm, I'd be reminded and couldn't really forget!
For things that I was losing - I bought a Tile from Amazon. They're amazing. I haven't lost my phone or keys since!
And this is easier said than done, but I forced myself to slow down. I do pretty much everything in my household (laundry, cooking, cleaning, meal prep, grocery shopping, you name it) so I had to just take my time and if something didn't get done, oh well. Too bad.
If you're fine with co-sleeping, keep doing it. If you have no issues with it and it works for you and your family, I don't see why you should stop. I personally didn't get very good sleep when I did it, so I transitioned my son to his crib at 3 months old. It wasn't incredibly easy but with trial and error it eventually worked out, and I'm very glad it did.
Anyways, I hope some of this helps. I promise, things will get easier! Good luck!
Ha, I'm totally like your husband. I actually asked for a Bluetooth keyfinder for Christmas. Works great!
The Tile idea was the best
This is the solution. You can get Tiles for cheap:
$15 from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Tile-Gen-Anything-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B011HT9AL2
$5.30 from WalMart - https://www.walmart.com/ip/The-worth-buy-GPS-Bluetooth-Smart-Pet-Dog-Tracker-Tracer-Locator-SPHP/346324369
Mine as well buy multiple and stuff them in various envelopes and items.
There are a couple different brands I think. The ones I got are pretty basic but work great. These are them. https://www.amazon.com/Esky-Wireless-Locator-Transmitter-Receivers/dp/B078XR8C15
I have this one. It's a little more expensive than most of the other radio frequency ones out there, but this one sits flat and seemed like it would be the easiest to stick to a remote with a command strip.
MT/diff oil
brake fluid
PS fluid (turkey baster method)
oil
check the coolant condition and if it is out change it
check the cabin filter and pollen filter and change them if they are disgusting
clean the leaves off of radiator to clean it up a bit
change the timing belt
If you want to go farther, change the spark plugs as they are likely overdue (not sure I'd pay someone to do that unless the idle was rough). Change the front engine mount and you will likely get a better ride. If you are really scared about being stranded at the side of the road, change the water pump (if not, just change it when it fails).
I got my folio case from Amazon UK, it is excellent quality and protects my Kindle when in my handbag.
Mine is the glitter purple version

The heads/tails spinner is cool. I like easily accesible usefull items.

Black thing is the resqme tool : http://www.amazon.com/resqme-Original-Keychain-Escape-Black/dp/B000IE0EZO
I wouldb't mind grabbing one of these... http://www.amazon.com/Wallet-TrackR-Bluetooth-Device-Packaging/dp/B00FK0ECYA/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1416014578&sr=1-9&keywords=bluetooth+key
or maybe... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Car-Key-House-Key-Finder-Links-to-smartphone-using-App-TrackR-/111509466031?pt=AU_Gadgets&hash=item19f67b6baf
Of the top of my head I'd say that if you have a tendency to lose focus on your child then you want to put some protocols in place asap to counteract that while you work on awareness and such. My initial thoughts would be:
A Tile (tap the app and it makes the tile "chirp"):
www.amazon.co.uk/Tile-Mate-Finder-Anything-Finder/dp/B01L3VEC08
Some type of beacon technology (here you can set a radius and the phone alarm will go off if your child leaves 30 meters etc):
http://blog.cubeacon.com/nivea-and-ibeacon-protects-the-kids-along-the-beach.html
One of those fitness apps that gives a warning if you sit still for too long - usually you'd set it to 30 mins so you dont get sedentry but you could set it to go off if your still for over 30seconds when you take your child out. This will get annoying but safety first right?
Hope that helps!
https://www.amazon.com/Pixie-2-pack-tracker-Luggage-included/dp/B06ZZNTNK7/ref=sr_1_19?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1497371854&sr=1-19-spons&keywords=gps+tracker&psc=1
This is just an example of what's possible. I realize it only has a 100 foot radius, but a few cops on patrol could simply have the app on their phone to see if they pickup any hits where they shouldn't be or if more than 1 chip clusters in a certain area.
The police also probably have access to other, smaller technology for better prices than what I've linked to. But the idea is simply possible is all I'm saying.
It's a chip that you can hang it on ur flash drive or what ever and u can track which the flash drive is at, I personally have never used it, so I can't assure you if they worth it, I just have heard of it, so I looked for one real quick so u can see what I am talking about, posted the link below.
I don't know which brand is the best so u gotta do ur own research.
Tile Mate - Key Finder. Phone Finder. Anything Finder - 1-pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L3VEC08/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_0uQQybKTMW1AT
it would be cool if you could set it up with just small RF tags so you wouldnt have to carry huge gps dongles
op would it work with something like this
https://www.amazon.com/Tile-Gen-Anything-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B011HT9AL2
I don't think there is a great way to do it... a tracker needs to have cellular data (weight/cost problem), or Bluetooth like in the keychain ones (range issue). For $20 it may be worth experimenting with a keychain one and see how close you need to be to trigger it's alarm, then at least you can hear it beeping when you get within range.

If yes, how do I connect the connectors to this power adapter?
http://www.amazon.de/Salcar%C2%AE-Transformator-Netzteil-Bildschirm-%C3%9Cberwachungskamera/dp/B00ABYBQSK/ref=pd_bxgy_light_img_y
Thank you really much for the quick reply!
Tape a Tile underneath and track it down.
edit: if you feel like snooping through their crap you may find some letters with names, addresses phone numbers etc, and perhaps even a credit card application or 3. Bonus points if you find their email address.
You could consider gifting her membership of Audible. It is free for 30 days and then
it costs $14.95 per month. Every month you can get one audio book.
Another option is a wireless key finder like one below:
https://www.amazon.com/Click-F6-Receivers-Wireless-Locator/dp/B009JJKZSK
BLASPHEMY!
Everyone knows the Tile is the one, true key finder and replacement for The Spirit!
Sky Cake!!!
If you put a tile on your keys and own a case like this it's very easy to keep track of your stuff.
the tile works pretty ok. Its a little GPS chip.
Other than that, just walk in sweeping motions.
I can’t find the exact ones I bought. https://www.amazon.com/OBDATOR-Wireless-Locator-Tracker-Support/dp/B07PQ5XQZL but these are pretty close. Mine were about ten dollars cheaper. If you google wireless key finder a bunch of different ones will come up. This is an invention I probably would have thought of myself, but I knew it probably already existed when I thought of it. It has made my life so much easier.

ELENKER™ Nut 2 smart Bluetooth Anti-lost Tracker Tracking Wal... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QWTXPRI/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_q.JPub0SC5ZHT Would something like that be what you're looking for?
As stated, a camera is the best option. If that is not viable for whatever reason, you could also glue a tile to it.
$20 for one of them.
If you want your Tile system to help you find your keys, your remote, your wallet and your bag, you have to dish out $60 a year.
This system is $50 and comes with 6 receivers: 3 key-rings, and 3 stickers. The batteries are difficult to replace, but that's still far better than them being literally impossible to replace.
Look into getting a tile. They're great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073QNZPMT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_eFE5AbZ37R567
I've done a bit more digging for alternatives since I initially posted this, and the (seemingly) best fit I've found so far is called a MYNT smart tracker that explicitly claims on its page that you can set 'safe' zones like your home so the app won't go off if you leave and items are still there. That seems like it will work on paper at least, but I have no experience with the company or product so I'm hesitant to just snap off a purchase for something that may be very janky.
Hey Jess! Good to meet you! Friday and Saturday nights I work third shift, so I'm supposed to go to bed early. But I make bad decisions and have poor impulse control, sooo here I am! So question for you! Tell me about a memorable job you had. Best/worst/first whatever. :)
Guess whos back, back again. Jess is back, tell a friend! (Ner ner nerrr!)
Eek! The thing I need most at the moment is the Tile key/phone finder. It's on my main list.
I'm hesitant to recommend this solution, but I'll throw it out there.
You could buy something like this...
https://www.amazon.com/Tile-Mate-Finder-Anything-Finder/dp/B01L3VEC08?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1
Tape or other wise secure it to the plug.
Next day, you're phone app will make the plug make a noise until you can find it. Works the other way too...tile finds phone, or keys.
I don't really like this product because they are made with batteries they KNOW will die in about a year, and the company only sells replacement units, not new batteries.
Tip:
Invest in a lanyard or wrist strap with a loop, a wallet keychain, and Tile Mate.
That way you'll have a convenient way to carry your car keys and wallet (plus the lanyard/wrist strap will make them bulky and easier to find) and then be able to find them with the Tile Mate. You could even go on Amazon and get neon colors to make them stand out.
You just have to make a rule that every card you take out of the wallet you have to put back.
Happy Cake Day!
I know that you can get tiles to attach to your phone but what I find myself doing now is using Siri on my iPhone to find it when it's lost in the house. I'll walk from room to room asking Siri where she is until she answers me.
Send me a DM with the email address attached to your Ting account so I can get the cake day credit put on there for you!

Trust me, this has come in clutch so many more times than I thought it would
It won't help with losing as much as misplacing, but I always misplace my keys and wallet and it takes me forever to find them. I got this not too long ago and it is so amazing. It's more of a "Where in the house is my shit?" solution, but it's already paid for itself as far as I'm concerned.
So like a Tile Mate? I mean projects are fun and all, but if the hats really mean something to her, I would just buy a few of these. Probably cheaper than anything you could build yourself anyways.
I ordered a pack of four Tiles on Amazon, and each one can be named and synched to my phone. There is one in my car, one in my purse, one on my dog's collar, and one on my keys. So if I cannot find any of the above, I go to the Tile app, and I can locate it on a map or make the Tile beep loudly (I have lost and found my keys many times this way). If I can't find where I park, the Tile app will tell me. It is an amazing invention.

Just do what I do and put a Tile on it along with the rabies tag. I use it as a failsafe for finding the cat, but you could just as easily find the collar if it came off.
Thx man found this one, you think it will do?
You might consider buying a tile keychain fob. Your phone can find your keys and your keys can find your phone. It has saved me a few times.
This helps with my keys.
https://www.amazon.com/Tile-Mate-Finder-Anything-Finder/dp/B01L3VEC08/
You can even buy a Bluetooth key finder tag like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01L3VEC08?psc=1&SubscriptionId=AKIAINYWQL7SPW7D7JCA&ascsubtag=4150427|nd0e18c2b5c42429c83863d7c772dd0f709&linkCode=gs2&creativeASIN=B01L3VEC08&tag=dotdash21-21&creative=165953&camp=2025
You probably need something like this.
Tile is an overpriced gimmick/scam. Get something like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009JJKZSK?gclid=CjwKEAjwqIfLBRCk6vH_rJq7yD0SJACG18frAsgrHD0_VfBjGYF1_qqLAxs0Q7isHkEqJi2XlEMZwBoCW3Pw_wcB
30 bucks and you don't have to buy an entirely new tile when it runs out of batteries
Time to get a Tile my dude.
Especially useful for us forgetful alchies.
I was actually thinking more along the lines of the card cases being lost or misplaced and forgotten but you still happen to be in the area. Saw this one that can play a sound when paired to your phone.
Got picked Saturday night at Sahara. Was recommended this by someone https://www.amazon.com/Tile-Mate-Finder-Anything-Finder/dp/B01L3VEC08/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1524530698&sr=8-3&keywords=tracking+device
Definitely going to install this inside my device (I'm an Apple Tech) next year as I recommend everyone else do. Hopefully once these thieves keep getting arrested they'll stop entirely.
Surprised Apple hasn't created a feature to require that devices use fingerprint or passcode to turn off. Would eliminate so many devices being stolen...
If you prefer not to use your phone (RoadId, Strava Beacon, Race Joy), you can always look in to devices like Tile (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011HT9AL2/ref=zg_bs_5811986011_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=Z0D47XJYN8A5T01VPNH6). Sometimes it's used for missing keys or even planted in to bikes as a post theft (?) tracking device.
The issue with not using your phone is, if you get in to trouble, how do you call for help?
Could get a tile if you really really really don't want to lose it otherwise come up with a mental check list to try not to lose it
Amazon has Tile (1 pk) for $25:
https://smile.amazon.com/Tile-Mate-Finder-Anything-Finder/dp/B01L3VEC08/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1496952496&sr=1-3&keywords=Tile
Something like this would probably work: http://www.amazon.com/Wallet-TrackR-Bluetooth-Device-Packaging/dp/B00FK0ECYA/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1416014578&sr=1-9&keywords=bluetooth+key
There are even cheaper versions but I'm not sure of their quality: http://www.amazon.com/VicTec-Bluetooth-Stickers-Cellphone-Controller/dp/B00M0H4QHY/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1416014628&sr=1-3&keywords=bluetooth+key
I've heard people using this as protection... Not really sure how well it works but it's something to think about
http://www.amazon.com/Tile-Gen-Phone-Finder-Finder/dp/B011HT9AL2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1459120939&sr=8-1&keywords=tile+tracker
First of all, what about an airplane is comparable to a twenty dollar electronic?
Second of all, nowhere on Amazon's page for the product does it say that you can't replace the batteries in the device. It says in very tiny text at the way bottom that the battery lasts for a year and can't be charged, nothing about it not being replaceable.

Using Bluetooth, call your keys with the phone, or your phone with the keys. A bit bulky, but call your wallet too.
Tile app
This thing has been a game changer
Now I only spend a couple minutes listening for the beeping. Its flat so it fits into your wallet too. Work keys, car keys, wallet, wife's things all have them
Boy ya need to cop you some "TILES"
Yeah... About that.
Why not just attach a Tile Mate to your drone; it should be able to track it anywhere.
https://www.amazon.com/Tile-Mate-Finder-Anything-Finder/dp/B01L3VEC08/
It also appears to be water resistant if not water proof.

There are several different products from $15-40 that you could sew in to the backpack or just attach to the keychain in most backpacks, and then use your phone or a computer to find the backpack with GPS.
You need this
Has anyone tried a GPS tracker tile? https://www.amazon.ca/Tile-Mate-Finder-Anything-Finder/dp/B01L3VEC08/ref=sr_1_1/147-4739324-2053218?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1492111864&sr=1-1

Tracking chips for your stuff.
gps tracker
Edit: NOT GPS. see reply below
He may find the 2nd generation Tile useful for keeping track of the nades and it seems to be the only half decent bluetooth tracker on the market.
The only downside is that you have to pull it apart yourself in order to change the battery because it's not meant to be changed in order to keep it watertight. I also have my doubts about it's durability considering you'll be tossing it across rooms.
Or pay 15$....

Quite handy, but I'm not sure how heavy it is or where you would put it on the quad.
I don't know where I should post this but I'll give it a go here.
I want to purchase a DJI Spark with the combo, originally I was going to purchase it directly from DJI but after a quick search it appears that DJI have consistently terrible customer service.
I'm in the UK so currently, my only options so far are to buy it from Amazon (Prime) or Jessops. If the DJI Spark and / or accessories develop a fault, get damaged due to a fault or it just flys off on its own accord, can I send it back to Amazon for a replacement or will I have to deal with DJI directly?
This really is a deal breaker for me as I want to avoid DJI customer service as much as possible
I was also looking at getting it insured by a third party and sticking a Bluetooth tracker to it, hopefully it won't affect its flying capability or send it off balance.
If I've asked this question in the wrong place, please direct me to the right place. Thank you
Edit: "Prime"

As soon as your mug is missing, start walking around the office and you will find it.
Or you can defecate in it.
You can also look into getting one of those [Tile Bluetooth trackers] (http://amzn.to/2iJpWxP) so he can find his wallet when he thinks he's lost it. He can also set reminder on this phone so that when his wallet is too far away he gets alerts or something.

If you're really lazy you could use a key finder that rings if you activate it via Bluetooth. Has a range of 30 meters which should be enough.
This is the exact one that I read bad reviews about from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Wallet-TrackR-Bluetooth-Device-Packaging/product-reviews/B00FK0ECYA/ref=cm_cr_dp_qt_hist_one?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addOneStar&showViewpoints=0
If I have to check something in, I always use some kinda tracker on both the luggage and items just in case they get lost or stolen. Something like Tile or if you have the money for a GPS tracker.

My brother and I have started attaching Tiles to our drones for exactly this reason.
That way:
Not sure if they're waterproof though. So we gotta try to avoid dunking it in a water hazard.
