Thanks, I'm super glad I can help! :D Yep, I don't even get it wet. I put my hair up and wash my body only, about every 2 days. I get my hair wet and deep condition every two weeks, emphasis on strands not scalp. Over washing will dry you the fuck out. You may be greasy at first, but your body adapts when it realizes you aren't trying to rip off all the oil it produces - which it produces to protect itself. I have dry thick hair on top of that. Here's all the products I use, including face and body soap. The green one is heat protectant spray to prevent heat damage when curling or blow drying, only to be applied after showering while hair is wet. In the background you can also see Hydrocortisone cream, which i apply to any redness or rashes or bumps that appear anywhere on my body. (Was essential for the itchy skin phase at month 2.) Also not pictured is my Aveeno body lotion which I apply all over my body and face anytime after washing or shaving. Everything in your life should be sensitive skin and hydrating.
Other essentials:
Hope this helps! <3
TOOTHBRUSH
This is the electric toothbrush I use and recommend: Sonicare Flex Care Plus. It is cheapest at Costco but comes in a pack of 2. It's important to replace the brush head every 3-4 months. Sonicare now has a subscription service to automatically send you a new brush head when it's time to replace, or you can buy the brush heads when you need them; they come out to approx $9 each on amazon but you can get 6 for $50 at Costco and they oftentimes have a $10 instant rebate. If you need to use a manual toothbrush, I recommend the Nimbus manual toothbrush. These Wisps are really handy when you can't brush after eating.
FLOSS
The floss I recommend is Dr. Tung's Smart Floss and you can use this Floss Holder to make it easier to use. (Amazon only sells the floss in packs of 3 or 6 so if you want to purchase a single pack you can find it at Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, or Sprouts.) A Waterpik can also be a great tool, this one is a Handheld Waterpik and is more convenient to use. You can use it in the shower and it takes up less counter space.
TOOTHPASTE/MOUTHWASH
This Crest Gum and Sensitivity paste is one of my favorites and I like Act Total Care mouthwash. When choosing a toothpaste or mouthwash, look for "sodium fluoride" as an active ingredient. It's best to stay away from mouthwashes with alcohol in them and whitening/charcoal pastes because the abrasives in them can damage the teeth. If you use a whitening rinse with hydrogen peroxide, only use it 2-3 times per week to avoid making the gum tissue sensitive. Other than that, whatever you prefer is just fine.
WHITENING
For an inexpensive whitening treatment Crest White Strips are a good option.
Nah man/woman I promise you, as someone who is almost self conscious about how casual he is with his dental care, spend the $30-40 to buy one of the Philips that has the 2 minute timer and pressure sensor to tell you when you brush too hard.
Life. Changing. The first time it feels like you just stood there brushing for ten minutes but ooooh boy run that little mouth muscle over dem bones and you'll want to kiss yourself in the mirror. There is literally no feeling of left over plaque. Especially behind the teeth. Love it, man. I told myself Id never get one till like 3-4 months ago and Im disappointed I let my teeth get to the point they are now when Ive had some serious pretty pearls prior with zero cavaties and strong enamel. A habit of brushing what could only average to 4 times a week at the peak, and brushing fast and hard to just get it over with (heavy hand wears down enamel faster) ended my shiny teeth and me quick. Yikes.

Girlfriend has this one and its just as nice as my Philips 5100. Little cheaper, too. Heads are cheap, too! Take care of the one outward bone bois pls, they cannot care for themselves. Theyre like little gold dubloons in your head. I hope you take heed. Godspeed
Waterpiks are excellent for cleaning deeper pockets. However, I understand the frustration of the mess. What I found that works great is getting a travel size water pick like this one and using it in the shower instead of the sink, kinda like that new shower tool. Keeping a mirror hung or suctioned to the shower wall can help with controlling the tip to follow along the gum line. There are also floss holders like this that help with dexterity. Electric toothbrushes are a total game changer too. They really help take most of the work out of brushing and have been consistantly proven to be more effective than a manual toothbrush. Tongue scrapers are AMAZING. They reduce the number of bacteria for plaque formation, reduce mouth odors, and show improvements for dry mouth, coated tongue, fissured tongue, or patients who use tobacco. I have found with my own experience that this type works the best for my patients. But you can find what works best for you personally, there are many different types out there. Hopefully this helped!
My dentist told me to buy a mouthguard online because they're just as effective as custom made ones. There are two types I have experience with, the melty kind and the minimalist kind.
The melty kind you feel more but it's formed to your body so it's not that intrusive, the minimalist kind fits in your mouth better but doesn't conform and I find myself chewing on them more, also some of the reviews say that they woke up to almost swallowing them (I've never had this happen), so decide which one will be best for you. I prefer the minimal ones.
Take hot baths and lay flat, I usually cross my legs or rest my feet on the end of the tub so that my back is flat on the bottom, the heat will help hour muscles relax. I also have a jade facial roller or (slow but much cheaper
) which works especially well when it's been warmed up, I have better luck using that for my facial/jaw massages than just my hands.
I went last year for the first time since about 2002. To put it lightly, I was scared.
It turns out that my fear of dentists for the previous 16 years was a solid and effective motivator for me to take very good care of my teeth. No cavities. I waited until AFTER the cleaning to tell them how long it had been, and they said it looked like I had been getting cleanings every 6 months. Now, whenever I go in every 6 months, they tell me I consistently have the cleanest teeth of any of their clients (maybe they are lying to make me feel good).
My regimen for the last 17 years:
Also, I see a LOT of people brushing only the tops of their teeth. You need to brush the tops, AND the front and back. Spend extra time in the back by your wisdom teeth, as this is the place most people have problems.
I know some people will say not to use a tongue scraper every day. I suppose if your using it like you're trying to scrape paint, that might not be a good idea. Orabrush makes a soft one with little bristles on it. It's a lot less harsh than the rigid plastic ones, I wouldn't use one of those every day. Here's the one I use:
https://www.amazon.com/Orabrush-Tongue-Cleaner-Breath-Scrapers/dp/B0045IZ9Z4/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=tongue+cleaner&qid=1574096940&s=hpc&sr=1-8
And for flossing:
https://www.amazon.com/Listerine-UltraClean-Access-Flosser-Refill/dp/B00QSNP80U/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=flosser&qid=1574096991&s=hpc&sr=1-8
Mouthwash:
https://www.amazon.com/Listerine-Antiseptic-Mouthwash-Cool-Mint/dp/B01FXMLU6C/ref=pd_sbs_121_1/142-7631324-3304853?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01FXMLU6C&pd_rd_r=2c73adbb-da2f-4077-bf0c-5d8a49d90044&pd_rd_w=Hyy7D&pd_rd_wg=s2Xrc&pf_rd_p=52b7592c-2dc9-4ac6-84d4-4bda6360045e&pf_rd_r=RFBS5QWRRTDGC9KCX32M&psc=1&refRID=RFBS5QWRRTDGC9KCX32M
Yeah, I know, it has alcohol, and it doesn't have fluoride. I found that non-alcohol mouthwashes don't seem to work very well. And, I don't need fluoride from my mouthwash since I brush immediately after the mouthwash. Also, this particular listerine has some extra chemicals in them to help loosen food and stuff, which their fluoride version does NOT have.
Edit: On the Novamin toothpaste... It was available in the US back in like 2007 or so. It got pulled from the market because of patent or licensing issues or something. Countries with bad teeth stereotypes can now buy this stuff over the counter and have overall better dental health than americans now. If you search around, you can find companies that will sell it to you and ship it to the US. The 3M Clin-pro stuff is the only "legal" choice here, but it requires a prescription, and the dentist will probably charge you $40 a tube for it. There is also this stuff:
https://www.amazon.com/Apagard-Premio-toothpaste-nanohydroxyapatite-remineralizing/dp/B0016GCZSC/ref=sr_1_7?crid=2NRDCT9IY50MV&keywords=primo+toothpaste&qid=1574097773&s=hpc&sprefix=primo+tooth%2Chpc%2C166&sr=1-7
There are some NIH articles on tests of this stuff, and it appears to be as good or even better than Novamin. I have some. I asked my dentist about it, and he recommends it to people who think that fluoride is a mind control agent and won't use fluoride toothpaste. He has only started recommending it, so he didn't have feedback on how well it worked. Sometimes I switch it up and use this for a week or so.
I'm going to piggyback on this comment, love Sonicare, but the Essence can get pretty gunked up in between the housing of the base and head the way it is designed. Replacement heads are more expensive than other models as well.
I would recommend the Easy Clean version which is slightly more for the initial investment, but replacement heads are more affordable and it stays much cleaner. You can also use the DiamondClean replacements on the Easy Clean as well, which are the heads that I prefer.

Just my two cents!
Lucy is 7 years old and her teeth were half covered with hardened plaque and this brand did a great job. I used a very soft human toothbrush and I also used a human tartar scraper. She is the most patient, trusting and understanding dog in the world to let me do this. Her breath was getting foul and gums were reddened so I spoke to a vet and began this routine. We do it daily or every other day if we forget.
This brand works so good. I saw instant results! This photo is the title is what he teeth looked like after a week of brushing.
I didn't take a before photo but it was exactly to this level :
http://www.dogscatspets.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/tartar.jpg
She lays down and I dampen the toothbrush, apply the paste and brush the outside of her teeth one side of her mouth at a time. There's a lot of licking bc this poultry toothpaste apparently tastes the bomb.
If I can get to the inside of the teeth I do that too. Then I use the tartar scraper (not recommended as a DIY unless you have a very steady hand and your dog allows it). Scrape the tartar only and eventually it'll come off in flakes!
Then brush that side one more time.
Then she rolls over to the other side and we repeat.
No more red gums, no more stank breath. She loves the flavor and gets a treat afterwards.
Happy dog. ♥ 🐶

The toothpaste (we use poultry flavor but I'm going to try vanilla mint when we run out to give a fresher smell) :

First off, you are missing the next two pages in the book.
Second, at least one of the authors is a Redditor
Third, as a dental student, I am loving the Pro-Floss replies going on in this 'thread' (and the dental puns, totally going to use those regularly)
Lastly, as Diskroll said, cavities very often form in between teeth. Brushing your teeth cleans the tops (occlusal), the cheek/lip side (buccal/facial) and the tongue side (lingual), but only floss can clean between teeth (interproximal). Flossing can add years to your life, can help prevent other more systemic problems, and obviously greatly reduce the amount of excessive and expensive dental work you'll need in life. Plus you have a better chance of keeping all your own teeth.
It's a tough habit to start, but once you get started, you'll notice the difference. The trick I've been telling my patients, and what got me to be a better flosser, is to leave a pack by your desk, and use it while you're watching a video, or doing something else where you are just sitting around.

hisher floss was ripping onhisher back teeth(due to tight contacts, which is not necessarily a bad thing) - Get waxed floss, ~~that will definitely help. Also, for anyone with braces, or a permanent retainer (lingual bar) I highly recommend Oral-B Glide Pro-Health Threader (you can save the S&H if you pick them up at CVS/Wallgreens/ any other drugstore/supermarket/ place that sells dental stuff)TL;DR: Floss your teeth.
Marcus is a beautiful man, inside and out. I'm seeing some hateful judgments here and I don't agree with them. That being said, teeth whitening has some a long way. My teeth were Marcus shade recently, partially because I used to be a smoker. I'm also a big coffee drinker! However, my dentist offered to whiten my teeth but the cost was like 500 bucks. I found the same product but without the expensive custom molds on Amazon. It's called opalescence go. My fiance and I did them together before our engagement photos and it really helped a lot. It's one of the cheapest and easiest ways to improve your appearance because you only have to use it for like ten days and then one day every few months. Much easier than wearing nice clothes, diet and exercise, and salon haircuts.

Just wanted to chime in with my 2 cents. Antlers (many are vegan provided they are found after being naturally shed, and not farmed) and dental chews (Natural Balance Fresh & Clean is vegan) help a bit in cleaning a dog’s teeth, but tartar still seems to build up over time in my experience.
One thing I’ve found that really helps is gentling scaling my dog’s teeth myself. I know it sounds scary, but it’s actually pretty straight forward. I also don’t have to put my pupper under to clean his teeth this way, which is a huge plus in my book.
I boughtthis dental tool on Amazon and followed the instructions on this video , and this video. The first link was helpful for understanding the concept, but the second video more clearly shows what you need to do.
If you like the show Louie, you would like his old show Lucky Louie. It's a slightly different type of comedy from him, but I still loved it. Also, based on your interest in the Waterpik, if you don't have a Sonicare toothbrush, you NEED one. In fact, I think everyone needs one. My mouth feels so fresh and wonderful after I use it. Its expensive but the feeling you get and how white your teeth will be is worth it!
Not really OP is underestimating you are overestimating.
The $24 Philips Sonicare Essence is a great toothbrush (4/5 stars with 8,137 reviews) but it is an older version so its very bulky.
The $50 Oral-B Black Pro 1000 is the newer style that is slim works great (4.5 stars with 4,322 reviews) and can accept any style of Oral B head including the plaque bristle ones.
The expensive ones just add built in timers, More LEDs, a sexier stand and some are bluetooth capable and sync with your phone (which i guess is nice if you got kids and want to verify they are brushing)
My Mom has cancer and is currently undergoing chemo again to try and push it back (she has a brain tumour).
We’ve found that Sea-Bands have helped with the sickness. This could all be psychosomatic but she hasn’t felt sick when wearing them and her appetite (which went terrible) has returned as she feels able to eat.
My Mom’s also found she’s developed a problem with mint when brushing her teeth so I brought her some unflavoured toothpaste from Amazon and she’s been fine with that. She says it’s a little powdery but bearable.
Grease can also be an issue, like the smell of grease in the house can make you heave if you’re already feeling ill. So just be wary if you’re a big fried chip fan.
However, no two people are the same and hopefully you’ll sail through your chemo. Just remember to eat what you want, when you want it. You don’t have to eat big meals if you don’t want them. Take everyday as it comes and remember to smile even when feeling down.
You’ll be amazed at what smiling to yourself in the mirror can do for your mood.
Good luck honey x
I had all four wisdom teeth and two second molars removed this past July. Here are my tips -
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEBV0HW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WWSExbY18SGT4 - here's one off Amazon that's under $20.00.
I think that if you get your teeth whitened and ask for some advice on a skincare subreddit (your skin isn't bad at all, I just think you've got a great starting point) you could really have something pretty special going on. You are not traditionally handsome at all but your facial features are so strong that I think it's quite a striking look.
I also agree with the other guys here - your hair is good. I would definitely try the short sides and back (undercut). If you doesn't work then it should only take a few months to grow out.
I have white spots on my front teeth from braces as well, and finally got an answer from the last dentist I saw that they're demineralized spots, and if they don't develop further then they can remineralize but unless they do they'll be more likely to develop cavities.
I bought a remineralizing paste from my dentist with fluoride and hydroxy apatite in it, which helps remineralize the spots, and have been using it as a spot treatment. After some research into it I also bought a remineralization toothpaste off of Amazon, it's from Japan because it's not sold in the US but it's got the same effect as the paste. I've been using this for a few weeks now, and the white spots on my teeth have gotten a lot less noticeable.
You might still have issues with your teeth and this might not totally get rid of the spots, but I would highly recommend trying the toothpaste for a few months and seeing if that helps before looking at veneers. I feel like remineralization is not something that dentists in the US tend to look at other than fluoride, which isn't as effective as hydroxy apatite, but it's worth looking into.
I just started too but I'm about a week and half ahead of you. Few things I found through lots of looking:
Put your new trays in before you go to bed, you'll miss a lot of the tightness and ache while you sleep. Worked well for me, I just put a new tray in and they don't hurt at all the next day... for me at least.
I had issues getting my trays out too, maybe because I have long nails and all. It also felt like it was starting to mess up my nails struggling with them. Looked around and found this: https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Aligner-Removal-Tool-ORTHOKEY/dp/B07JR5GFCY It's so much easier for me to take them out with this. I just hook it in on the inside of the tray towards the back and once I get that loose I have a much easier time just pulling the whole thing out. Depending on where your attachments are, there might be easier place to pull them sort of thing.
And in terms of getting used to them, I'm not too far in, but I had a retainer that I wore at night before this from having partial orthodontics done as a kid (ugh I wish they finished them) so the trays themselves really don't bother me. Not sure if you have rubber bands, I think those are more annoying just because they dig at my cheeks and make it harder to talk but pretty used to them already too. I think the worst for me personally is when you take the trays off and just have the rough attachments gouging your cheeks xD not cool. On the bright side it is motivation to keep the trays in as much as possible.
Don't sip all day, use a straw if you can, and try to either brush your teeth 30-45 minutes after drinking or swish out your mouth with water.
Also, whitening products in general can help with minor stains if you're diligent about it. Strips won't do jack for the in between but some toothpastes are excellent for slowly removing staining. For example, I use a toothpaste from Japan that's pricey but has definitely kept the worst of my staining at bay and has gotten some of the stubborn stuff between mine to fade. You could probably find cheaper stuff though. I know my aunt that's obsessed with keeping her's super white loves the stuff with Arm and Hammer but I couldn't bear to use it more than twice.
FWIW, I generally drink 2-3 cups a day along with lots of tea and my teeth stay pretty dang white between my cleanings every 8 months. Not like, movie-star white of course, but a normal white according to my dentist.
Tongue Scrapers. Ok, your tongue does everything for you, right? It takes the brunt of anything you eat, chew, smoke and drink. Yet no one talks about it's health. Chinese medicine use tongue color and shape as a diagnostic. Your tongue is where most breath problems present themselves (unless you just never brush your teeth). One simple device Tongue Scraper made from surgical steel will make your entire mouth feel better. You scrape gently (it's really painless)across your tongue once a day. You'll pull off this ucky goo that you never knew existed. And guess what? Your mouth will feel better all day, your breath will be much better AND it also helps with the conditions that wear away tooth enamel.
This is a real item and I use mine everyday. It's worth $8 bucks and lasts a lifetime. Plus you can put it in the dishwasher.
You must agree
This is essentially the product, but I got six of them for like $5. Sometimes you have to search a bit for a deal. Basically you want an oral syringe. I hope this helps. When I got comfortable with this method I've never looked back.
http://www.amazon.com/Ezy-Care-Dental-Irrigating-Syringe/dp/B000FQ5N1A/ref=sr_1_47_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1458039693&sr=8-47&keywords=oral+syringe
Hahaha thanks :D
I use this: https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Song-Professional-Whitening-Applicator/dp/B00DQ31IUO
You gotta use Sensodyne toothpaste with it though and be careful because your teeth get incredibly sensitive to hot/cold if you whiten them with it too much. This stuff is potent as fuck but will maximize your teeth gains SUPER fast.
The difference is not clinically significant. Evidence shows that both clean better on average than manual brushing, but they both work roughly the same.
Kind of stinks most people can't try em both, because they both feel different. FWIW, personally, the Sonicare's buzzing gives me a nails on chalkboard kind of feel while the Oral B is more of a physical rumble.. however, my fiancee prefers the opposite so YMMV. Tons of people go with either Sonicare or Oral B and in the end it doesn't matter.
[here is a quality oral b pro 1000 for $40 on amazon](https://www.amazon.com/1000-Rechargeable-Electric-Toothbrush-Braun/dp/B003UKM9CO/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1541814378&sr=8-
3&keywords=oral+b+white+pro+1000)
here is the most basic sonicare for $20 on amazon; my fiancee used to use it before I gave her mine, but it still worked fine for her.. just the heads are bulkier than the more expensive ones
Or get more expensive ones if you like things like quadrant timers, sensitive/low power settings, bluetooth capability (why?), etc.
Good luck, I hope they work for you! They're also really inexpensive :)
Us people who wanna whiten our teeth get something like this...which does a crazy great job. As far as I know, it's tons ahead of both tooth paste and teeth whitening strips
At Home Professional Teeth Whitening Kit 44% Carbamide Peroxide with 5 Large Syringes of Made in USA Gel 5 Pcs. 5cc Syringes, 2 Pcs. Thermoform Trays + Bonus White LED Light + Free Shade Guide + Instructions https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AEBV0HW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_DBe6xbSAV7RDD
That is a relatively easy fix. Follow this knot tutorial to make sure the knot is big enough. If you have trouble re-threading the string, using dental floss threaders like these helps. Good luck
Hi, I also grind my teeth mostly when I'm sleeping. I started noticing tooth damage so went searching for a mouth guard to use while sleeping. I use Doctor's Nightguard Advanced Comfort, 1 Box by The Doctor's every night and it works well. I followed the instructions that it came with and it fits my mouth perfectly. I can open my mouth and talk without it falling out or moving.
I've been using it for 3 months now and its holding up well, it does have some damage from my grinding but looks like it will last 6+ months or more. Try it out. I might have a small mouth but it does keep my mouth open while I sleep but using a humidifier in the room has helped with any dry mouth at night.
I hope it works for you!
There are nicer ones, but this one is pretty good for the money.
I'm using Oral-B glide threader floss: https://www.amazon.com/Oral-B-Glide-Pro-Health-Threader-Floss/dp/B000GGJCDY/
This is the best for me so far. Waterpik is good and useful, however it can't replace flossing.
Not sure about gingivitis, but I started experimenting with Apagard.
Apagard Japanese toothpaste
It’s a sensitive teeth toothpaste, with nanohydrooxyapite, basically supposed to help fill in little imperfections, kill cavities without fluoride.
I’m liking it so far, my teeth feel super smooth. My teeth are looking a little whiter then the crest 3D white I was using.
Apparently people really like this because it’s a Floride free option. 🤷🏼♂️
Nice cleaner! I picked up a VPI machine earlier this month and found for small batches a dental syringe works well https://www.amazon.com/Ezy-Care-Dental-Irrigating-Syringe/dp/B000FQ5N1A but for larger cleaning jobs and fluid storage these work great https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Liquid-Storage-Squeeze-Bottle/dp/B016DDJPKS
If you have Amazon you can get a good kit for about $30. I use this one, and it works reasonably well. Takes a bit more time to get the same level of white that I got at the dentist (about 2 weeks, rather than 1 appointment), but it also didn't cost me $200.
I also paid a little extra to buy the "remineralization gel", which really just keeps your teeth from being super sensitive after you bleach (which did make a big difference for me, but my teeth are a little sensitive anyway).
I recommend white foam it will penetrate under the attachments and helps clean your trays. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GMPSQ3U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I would much enjoy these thanks for the contest :)
That sucks.
What tools do you have available? A dental pick or scraper is going to be your best bet if you're determined to bend it back into shape. But most people won't just have one on hand.
Alternatively, a new 72-pin connector is usually about $10. So even if you can't fix it, it's not an expensive mistake.
$150? A waterpik is like $40.
Edit: Turns out that was a pretty good guess
I was nervous too, just got them yesterday! I didn't prepare and I suffered LOL. I recommend 100% dental wax prior your visit, nail filer, toothbrush, toothpaste on the go & floss!! I have a hard time taking my trays out so I also bought a clear aligner removal tool. Link
I've used diluted white vinegar to dissolve some of the crud, then a toothbrush bought specifically for cleaning my appliances (your regular one will have toothpaste still in it, which will scratch your appliance).
These days, I use Whitefoam and that's been pretty good. Looking at that page, there are now competing brands available in the States. This particular brand has OrthoFoam in grape (same ingredients), but I've only ever tried the mint one and find it quite pleasant.
There will be a socket left where the tooth used to be, but the surgeon will stich your gums over it so once it heals you won't be able to tell a tooth used to be there.
To clean your sockets, put some salt water into an irrigation syringe and flush them out. It actually feels quite good.
Heya, my previous dentist (Sparkle Dental at Novena) charges around there or slightly cheaper depending on the material used so I was thinking of going back to him, just that his waiting list is a few months long :(
anyway glad to hear you got yours sorted! I still find $500 pretty steep for something I'm going to end up chewing away. A friend of mine helped me find this which I'll try in the meantime: http://www.amazon.com/Doctors-NightGuard-Advanced-Protector-Grinding/dp/B0036WTV2C
Not sure if it's any good, but I plan to try it while I'm on the waitlist for my dentist :)
Orthokey is hands down the best $10 I ever spent. Makes getting the trays out 100x easier - can do it on the fly in 5 seconds if needed.
[I found this :)](Oranurse 50ml Unflavoured Toothpaste https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0085AOSU0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6UDwybNWES6N8) and [this](DenTrust 3-Sided Toothbrush :: Specialty Toothbrush for AUTISM & Special Needs :: Autistic ASD :: Made In USA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008C3UBD8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ZWDwybBQPKX40). If that's not what you are looking for there is a toothbrush they use at the dentist, I think oragel, and it's really soft. I personally like it and think it's a lot better than hard bristles.
I use this one
http://www.amazon.com/Tongue-Sweeper-Model-Stainless-Steel/dp/B0017GYMBO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1449385557&sr=8-5&keywords=tongue+scraper
It works wonderfully! I also like that its stainless steel so you can boil it to disinfect it!
Thanks! Yep I got a metal one: TONGUE CLEANER Tongue Sweeper Steel, 1 Each https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017GYMBO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wFkVBbMYWAKK5
waterpik cordless freedom
This is the one I bought. It’s listed on Amazon right now at $35.98. Do yourself a favor & buy a pack of AA batteries with it. It takes three to run it & they run out pretty quickly.
Huh, maybe it was the brand? Mine was very thick and sturdy, and I followed the instructions quite closely. I don't think mine is sticky at all. They do feel weird in your mouth...but they all do. :P I used a smaller size (my package had four mouthguards in two sizes) and it fit best. Did take a couple hours to get used to it, so I put it in a while before bed to get used to it.
Mine was like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01JNH3XFO/ref=zg_bs_3764091_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=FKCPMR8VC8QYWFYF0QB3
Edit: also if you haven't been tested for it, ask about sleep apnea. Apparently 1 in 4 people with sleep apnea grind their teeth (I believe, maybe it's backwards and 1 in 4 people who grind their teeth have sleep apnea) so it's worth checking it out.
I don't have sleep apnea, I've been tested 3 times. I unfortunately just have health issues that cause the muscles all over my body to spasm all night. Sigh.
I've found that https://www.amazon.com/Flossaid-Dental-Floss-Holder-Single-Handle/dp/B000LC22R6 works well for me—I like the angle of the floss better than with disposable flossers (which your design seems to copy).
So my ortho actually complimented me yesterday on how clean my trays still were as I took them out in her office. I’ve just been using these cleaning tablets I bought on amazon: Retainer Shield antibacterial cleaning tablets and when I’m about to pop my trays back in, I squirt one pump each of this whitening/breath freshening foam in each tray: EverSmile Whitefoam. When I’m out and about I just use a toothbrush and toothpaste.
Oh, and don’t forget to brush your tongue!! My breath/trays smell HORRID if I forget to clean my tongue especially before going to sleep. I hope this helps!!
Yeah they would. If it just needs bleaching you can try something like [this](Opalescence Go 15% https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ER5NN3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AwcRAbV8TPPME)
They are similar to white strips but stay in place better and you can use them with the braces on. You’ll have to press it down around the braces so it is in contact with the tooth. The peroxide is taken up by the tooth and dispersed into the enamel, even under the bracket.
Here you go - un-flavoured mint fee properly fluoridated 1450 ppm tooth-paste. Good luck!
Here's what I have, it's only $20 on Amazon right now. I would definitely recommend checking it out!
If you can find an equivalent of this toothpaste then it is unflavoured. I'm not bothered by toothpaste or brushing (I ground my teeth as a kid so I have many dental problems now and a strict dental hygiene regime) but young people I worked with could tolerate this toothpaste when they couldn't others. Some also preferred using these toothbrushes because it would cut down on brushing time by simultaneously brushing all sides of the tooth. Obviously brushing for two minutes would still have had better results but this was a huge improvement for many of them as they found the process so difficult to tolerate.
It’s something you can get from Amazon. Many of us use tools like this. It makes taking the trays off so much easier and quicker.
Clear Aligner Removal Tool by ORTHOKEY - Invisible Removable Braces - QTY 2 Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NQ5KZFT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4oApDbX2SAAZS
But you also gotta think- how long are you gonna leave them on there? You need to eat eventually, and eating with them in is not an option. You need to be able to brush your teeth. The pain you are feeling is just tenderness and soreness in your roots. Nothing is broken or fragile. And at the end of the day no one can take them off for you. You gotta take them off with your own 2 hands and get used to that feeling.
I always use my thumb nail to pull down on the inside of one back tooth. Then I can sort of peel off the tray from one side to the other. This is easier than trying to pull off the whole tray, both sides, at one time.
You may also want to buy an ortho key to help get them off in the future:
https://www.amazon.ca/Clear-Aligner-Removal-Tool-ORTHOKEY/dp/B07JR5GFCY
well, it isn't an athletic one, it's one specifically for bruxism. Like this. I did have bruxism and it did help. I'm sure yours is worse though since I only had mine for a (very emotionally rough) year.
Same issue here, so I use unflavored toothpaste.
Here is the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Oranurse-3659273-50ml-Unflavoured-Toothpaste/dp/B0085AOSU0
Hope it helps.

When are you going to invent a 'serum' that lets us regrow our teeth. Because I have a history of grinding my teeth and I would like to have normal teeth again... as in real teeth.
ON a side note, I chewed through two night guards that my dentist made. Apparetly wearing them were supposed to make me stop wanting to grind, but no, I just went right through both of them. Costs way too much and instead I get this thing
Those last a good while if kept and are much cheaper than the ones I was breaking. As in, the ones I was breaking were like 400 dollars.
Mines just an off brand one I spent $10 on. I think the round head fits better and allows me to really focus on 1 tooth at a time. I've been looking into this one and I like the reviews though.
Oral-B Black Pro 1000 Power Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush Powered by Braun https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AKGRTUM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VqgYDbGDGAQPB
This whitening gel works pretty well. It also really, REALLY stings if you're not used to it.
Yes, something like this
I've also seen them in drug stores.
(edited to fix link)
Personally, I have a tongue scraper by Oollitt and that works very well. But this one seems promising too:

Oral B makes a floss similar to Superfloss but it is the Glide floss. It has the waxed ends and is my favorite for overcrowding. https://www.amazon.com/Oral-B-Glide-Pro-Health-Threader-Floss/dp/B000GGJCDY
My teeth are too crowded and tight for the floss piks specifically made for braces and I also found SuperFloss to be too thick. Alternatively, there are plastic threaders you can use with your normal floss. It takes more time but works. https://www.amazon.com/GUM-Eez-Thru-Floss-Threaders-Each/dp/B000GGJCDO/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=plastic+floss+threader&qid=1555263723&s=beauty&sr=1-8
you should be able to get custom fit for one by your dentist, but honestly i bought a $15 set on amazon that you boil and fit to your teeth yourself and i love it. i also have a bad gag reflex but this guard doesn’t bother me.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07NQ5KZFT
I just keep the tool in my case. Maybe I’ll learn to do it without the tool, but for now it makes it easy and I always have it with me.

I've been using the Apagard one that's imported from Japan that's available on Amazon Prime. It seemed better reviewed from the sort of American versions they have.
It's listed as: Apagard Premio toothpaste 100g
Here's a link if I'm allowed to post it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016GCZSC/
Use your chewies, get an Orthokey. I'm on tray 13/22. I switched from weekly to bi-weekly swaps and the pain when changing trays decreases immensely.
Good Luck!
Edit: they sell the chewies on Amazon too.
Your teeth aren't yellow, it's just that because of the ridiculously skewed standards that we now have, you think they're yellow. Rather than the weak Crest White strips, use something stronger that will work much better. Good luck.
Probably not. They are not the same material use toothpaste and brush to clean them or this EverSmile WhiteFoam Invisalign Cleaner & Tooth Whitener - 2 Pack (60 day supply) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GMPSQ3U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_PKDbAbSZY7KVE
There's floss holders you can get on amazon where you just wrap your floss around it. So you can reuse the stick! And it's really sturdy too.
Ninja edit: My husband has this one; it seems to work really well.
Super floss is a thicker piece of floss with one stiff end to get under wires/bridges. Floss threaders are plastic loops to help push (or thread!) floss under the wire.
Here’s what I use. They have a threaded tip so they are easy to guide through brackets. I’ve found that I can’t fit the platypus flossers between my front six teeth and brackets, and having to thread floss onto a threader 92 times is annoying.

I actually use a syringe leftover from when I got my wisdom teeth removed. It's narrow enough to work and doesn't look like you're using drugs. It's called a Dental Syringe.
It is not unusual that one tooth was more difficult to remove than the other. This one had more trauma to the surrounding tissue and will heal slower. Don't worry.
Try a syringe like this to keep the area clean. Use it gently.

It's still showing available for me on USA Amazon.
The only differences seem to be the color.
Having used sonicare brushes for years, I would stay away from the models you are looking at because of the brush head design. Especially if multiple people may use it, and change brush heads, that model needs to be unscrewed and gets all gunked up with moisture.
Also, the replacement screw on heads seem to be more expensive on Amazon.
If you can swing it, look in to a model with the smaller, pull off type brush head.

Yea electric brushes are great. A good way to tell if you're grinding too much is if you're jaw muscles are sore in the am, or have a headache. The night guards they make in the office are expensive but are usually partly covered by insurance. You can grab a decent over the counter guard One specific one is called the doctors night guard. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0036WTV2C/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1486737186&sr=8-1&keywords=doctors+night+guard

Tongue scraper. Mouthwash doesn't do the job nearly as well, and if you use a tongue scraper every day you'll get used to it and won't gag cleaning the back.

I was able to get one custom made, but my dentist said that if I couldn't, the one I should get is Doctor's NightGuard. http://www.amazon.com/Doctors-NightGuard-Advanced-Protector-Grinding/dp/B0036WTV2C The amazon reviews are less than positive, so take her recommendation with a grain of salt, but I thought I'd add what little I know about the topic. (She said that the material of some other night guards is kind of fun to chew on or gnaw at and makes the problem worse, but this one isn't that way--it's just like chewing on really hard plastic, so it doesn't reinforce the grinding tendencies while you're wearing it.)
You get them to drink a small amount of hydrogen peroxide - it hits their stomach, reacts and foams up, causing them to empty their stomachs. From what I've been told, you have about 20 minutes from the time the dog eats whatever it is before it starts working its way down the tubes.
Our dog, Texas, is a half mini-dachshund, half-minpin brat who likes to eat stuff. On a few occasions, when he found a pair of my wife's underwear and tore them up, (I know, gross) we've had to give him some peroxide to get them to throw the fabric back up. Getting him to open his mouth was a chore, so we ended up using a dental syringe because it's got a curved tip which slides right between his teeth and squirts the peroxide right down his throat. We usually use 3-5 ccs of peroxide.
A word of warning, here - the fuller the stomach, the less peroxide you need. And as mentioned above, it works, and it works fast. Texas tries to resist it at first, and you can see him concentrating on not puking, but within a minute he's emptying his stomach. We always give him a piece of bread after he's done so that he doesn't have an empty stomach.
As for doing it outside, I disagree - I'd rather do it inside so you can clean it up and make sure you got the offending material the dog ate. The puking never lasts long, as long as you don't use too much peroxide. We do it in small doses, and if the first squirt doesn't work, we give him a little more. Rubbing and jiggling his belly helps move the progress along too.
Hey man, just to follow up on this. I wound up making a mouth guard for night wear and it has helped a LOT. Almost zero jaw pain, no clicking/etc now. It took about two weeks of wear to get to this point.
In my case, my dentist found that my bite caused my jaw to pull a mm or two out of alignment when I clenched my teeth. If I did it a lot at night, I would invariable wake up with a sore, strained jaw. The trick for fixing that was to create a mouth guard with a smooth top so that my upper and lower teeth could not lock into place.
To do this, I ordered this mouth guard:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JNH3XFO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
When I was molding it, I used a plastic credit card to put on top of it as I bit down so that biting down wouldn't put a tooth impression on the top of it. This helped create a smooth top to the lower guard while it was fitted to my mouth.
$16 and it works perfectly vs. $800 that my dentist wanted to make me one.
You can get one of these for pretty cheap. They're not going to last as long as one from a dental office, and won't fit quite as tight but it works the exact same way.
My hygiene improved drastically (gums and sensitivity) when I started using an electric toothbrush, despite good brushing habits. I would seriously consider buying the [Oral B Pro 1000](Oral-B Black Pro 1000 Power Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush Powered by Braun https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AKGRTUM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Mcp6BbS2X521S). It's currently $40 on Amazon, but often is available for $30 when a coupon is available.
When it comes to toothpaste, you have an alternative for fluoride. A really great one. It is called Hydroxyapatite. I have been using this for the last few years and couldn't be happier.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016GCZSC
What is basically impossible to find is actually floss without fluoride coating. There is simply no way to find those new stick variety without fluoride.
And also there is of course water. I had at one point bought a Big Berkey water filter to filter out fluoride but it proved less practical than the fridge's water dispenser.

Check amazon for a cheap one to hold you over
I do, I bought this in May off of Amazon and it still works great.
I use these things with a mixture of water, hydrogen peroxide and listerine. It takes under a minute and you don't get the pain from pressing or digging them out. I usually have to do it every few months.
You use a floss threader like this: http://www.amazon.com/Oral-B-Glide-Pro-Health-Threader-Floss/dp/B000GGJCDY/
Put the stiff end of the floss between your teeth at the gum, not near the top. It will come out under the cement holding the retainer. You don't need to saw it, just move it around a little to get out anything stuck in there.

Same stuff they are gonna use for $30 bucks:

Just do it at home.
Have you tried http://www.amazon.com/G-U-M-Butler-Eez-Thru-Floss-Threaders/dp/B000GGJCDO#. They were the only thing that worked for me

i am not a dentist. go to your dentist and tell him you cannot floss. in the meantime, use a waterpik, or use a floss threader to get the floss to the bottom of the tooth.... http://www.amazon.com/G-U-M-Butler-Eez-Thru-Floss-Threaders/dp/B000GGJCDO
>flossing is literally not an option
bruh, it's 2016
That Sonicare uses e-series brush heads, which aren't as common anymore and are quite pricey, (anywhere from £8-£16 for a 2 pack of heads). I would advise going for the EasyClean, which is part of Philips newer range of brushes and uses a newer range of heads which are cheaper as they are more widely available (you can get a 12 pack of heads for £10.99). There are also four different types of brush heads you can get: ProResults, Sensitive, InterCare, DiamondClean.

Is this it?
Same here, but it takes me only about 10 seconds to floss the teeth the retainer covers. If you are having trouble you should get these; they help sooo much
Go check it out yourself.
For teeth whitening, I used this kit:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ER5NN3K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The reason I know it works is that one of my front teeth is an implant, and as such, they do not get discolored. This kit helped my other teeth whiten to the shade of my implant.

Philips Sonicare Essence Sonic Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QZ67ODE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_H98NAbEBTQDTV
They have one for $25

If there you are still taking orders. I am willing to pay 1/2 the amount first.
You can't stop grinding. Wear the night guard and do it the rest of your life. Don't wait until your teeth are destroyed. You'll get used to it.
Cheap night guard that works extremely well:
http://www.amazon.com/Doctors-NightGuard-Advanced-Protector-Grinding/product-reviews/B0036WTV2C/
Any Sonicare that is rechargeable (they had ones that ran on AA batteries for awhile, they're shit).
Other than that, even the cheap E series has all the features you need. It's what I and everyone in my family uses, no cavities all around.
Philips Sonicare Essence Sonic Rechargeable Toothbrush, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QZ67ODE/
Buy replacement heads on coupon sales at Costco in the giant muktipacks.
Do not use generic replacement heads.
They are garbage and do not work.
Sonicare isn't expensive, especially if you factor in all the dental work you won't be paying for.
Walmart will sometimes have E series Sonicares for as low as $20 if money is really tight.

Here's the syringe I use. This way you don't have to shove a thick syringe up your ass.
Ciao! grazie per l'ama. Cosa mi sai dire di questo dentifricio giapponese contenente "nanohydroxyapatite" (nanoidrossiapatite?) che farebbe prodigi per prevenire la carie? Come funziona questa sostanza?
Might want to go to a dentist and ask about mouthwash. Mine discouraged me from using it.
Brush and floss twice per day, once in the morning before you go outside and once before you go to bed.
Make sure to use soft toothbrushes. The softest you can find. Don't push too hard or you can damage your gums.
If you have trouble reaching into the back of your mouth to floss your molars, get one of these.
EDIT: One more thing, if you find that your teeth are really sensitive, especially when you eat cold food, try switching to sensodyne toothpaste or whatever the equivalent brand is where you live. I've been using it for 8 years now.
I usually keep the humidity high enough that they tiniest pitchers even have fluid, and feed the the pellets whole, as I think that they will drop to the bottom of the trap. If I crushed them they might stick to the sides and mold. I usually use a single led diode on a battery to see though the pitcher walls, and if there is any fluid. It wouldn't be a bad idea to add a few drops of water to a Sarracenia seeding's pitchers, a lot of people use these things to add water/feed fertilizer to many pitcher-type carnivores: https://www.amazon.com/Ezy-Care-Dental-Irrigating-Syringe/dp/B000FQ5N1A/ref=pd_lpo_194_lp_t_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=17D2K13N49DH57PD4M38
