Ok. You are definitely the target audience of this post. (sorry for the slow response I got busy) You look fun, interesting and obviously cool because you play bass, but your style is holding you back.

Your hair cut is not great, buts its tough to work with since you have widows peak. I don't think the shaved head thing would work with you but you could try a really close buzz. I really think the best option is to keep the hair cut you have and rock hats when going out, I like the newsies hat thing you have going in one of the photos. You look best in that picture. Add in castro hats & fedora's http://photo-dict.faqs.org/phrase/7131/fedora-hat.html & those straw fedora's that are popular http://s3.amazonaws.com/hitfix/photos/42596/JasonMraz_event_main.jpg. You could try rocking a knit, but you may look like a douchebag... handsome, but douchey... An example of a nice one: http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/carhartt-mens-knit-hat-with-visor-black-one-sizejust a warning. Maybe the key is not to look like this http://laweekly.blogs.com/style_council/images/colin_1.jpg
I would avoid: top hats, cowboy hats & other costumey type hats.

Ok that said... the wire frame glasses also scream geek on you. It really depends on the person... some people can pull them off with an older or professorly appeal, but it looks nerdy on you. Maybe try plastic frame glasses or contacts... might I suggest something simple and utilitarian like http://www.amazon.com/Rockers-Deluxe-Reading-Glasses-Classic/dp/B003JJIOYS/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1314723107&sr=8-23. The look you want to go for is the one justin timberlake is rocking here: http://www.justeyewear.com/blog/fashion/what-do-jay-z-justin-timberlake-and-sarah-palin-have-in-common/.
You have a face that is somewhere between oblong & round, so small frames will make your face appear longer (i.e. not good), choose a frame that is bold, a bit bigger than the ones you have now. But not super huge because while they are in fasion now that trend will fade in a year or two and then you will be stuck with them. Now I can just hear you... glasses are expensive!!! I got cute square frames with pink accents and that cost me 170 and I have insurance.. might I suggest www.zennioptical.com to get a pair of glasses for 10-30 bucks to try out the new look cheaply? I cannot vouche for the quality of them long term, but I bought some retro wing eyed glasses there and they are not half bad. (you have to figure out the numbers on your perscription right so you don't get something that will damage your eyes or give you a headache, but even if you just buy a pair with the wrong script for ten bucks to see...)

Also as with other posts... I would pick a defining sense of style and rock it - tell people who you are at a glance. Are there any particular ways of dressing that other people wear that you like? Or do you want to represent your interests... like a varying array of band t's paired with cool sneakers and nice jeans could be fine to emphasize you are a musician. Get back to me. Message me with more information and I will provide suggestions more tailored to you personally.

Question: are you from the midwest in the US?

A couple more tips: You have very lovely blue eyes, DO wear blue shirts. Your jeans are out dated. Get some that are bootcut or relaxed fit, get darker jeans. If your t shirts are really faded it looks sloppy, buy a new one, unless its your favorite t shirt ever or looks really good on you. This doesn't have to cost alot you can get a new looking shirt at any local thrift store for a couple bucks. Also try not to buy things that are super baggy, you are a thin guy and that it is just diminuitive of your stature, whereas if you wear something that fits a bit better you wear your size well. I am not suggesting muscle t shirts, just saying the red shirt where you are playing guitar is too baggy. The first picture... I think those shirts with the little buttons at the top are out dated (the blue shirt you are wearing under your fleece jacket). I would just get simple long sleeve shirts. Have you thought about a sleek sweater... I bet you would look really good in a nice blue sweater with your glasses (no hat with this look... ) like....http://www.amazon.com/Hugo-Boss-Barnabas-Crispy-Sweater/dp/B004RLUQX4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1314724313&sr=8-4 - probably a round neck would be better on you than a v neck, but you get the idea.

Cheers, I hope that helps. Oh and if you feel so inclined, I would LOVE if you could send me a couple picks if/or/when you try out some of my suggestions.

I'm sorry if any of these ideas are stupid or inappropriate . I'm just gonna give you a bunch lol.

  • Ds
You can get them pretty cheap, and it'd let him play video games in bed. And he can play some relaxing ones like harvest moon, pokemon, or animal crossing.
Idk if he has the energy to do that though. Or if he likes video games. But emulated games on my phone have been a lifesaver for bordem and stuff.

  • Heavy Blanket
Most people with chronic fatigue have trouble with sleep and some with anxiety.
I got my mom this for Christmas (she has chronic fatigue) She only was able to get 4 hours of sleep or something before (during the night-time) and would never feel rested. Now she sleeps alot better.

    -Plants
Plants have shown to improve mood and stuff, so you could get him a low maintenance plant like a succulent. Idk if have the energy for it though...

    -Instant pot
Can help him cook by himself? maybe? Again, idk what his energy level is... So idk if it'll be helpful.

    -Vegtable chopper and storage thingy
if he can cook by himself, he won't have to tire himself out using a knife, and can store the veggies he easily preps for his meals.
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HC7BNJA

    -Googleplay/ Apple Store gift card
So he can purchase games, apps, and stuff.

    -Lying down laptop stand?
    https://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/lying-down-laptop-stand/

-Gooseneck phone holder, so he doesn't have to hold his phone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1JXNTT

  • Saw this: https://www.amazon.com/Tens-Handheld-Electronic-Pulse-Massager/dp/B007TOJ948/ on a gift list... Its supposed to help with chronic fatigue and chronic pain. Idk about the science behind it though... so idk

-These cool prism glasses that will let him read laying down and stuff? Idk how to explain it https://www.amazon.com/Skywill-Far-East-Industries-Spectacles/dp/B0006ZZCJI

    -Mop slippers??

    -Cool night light projector
I see some ones that project ocean waves, or stars.

That's all I can think of right now... I'll edit if I can think of anything else.
u/Lyrle · 2 pointsr/POTS

That sounds awful. Kudos to you for getting through your work days.

For diagnosis, is the doc who gave you the beta blocker working with you to get an official diagnosis?

For the blood pooling, have you tried a footstool? Or for the light flickering, sunglasses? There are pricey ones specifically for fluorescent lights but you might try cheap dollar store ones to see if a certain brand helps. I know the helpfulness of these things varies widely, but if you have an opportunity to try I hope you get at least some small relief.

Are you working on any exercise program? I imagine you are completely wiped out on your off-days, but if you can do even very gentle stretching or leg exercises while lying down on a regular basis it can add up to a big difference over weeks or months.

The shakiness and the dazed-vision are pretty common in POTS. They are not risk factors for anything (no seizures!) and so apparently aren't interesting enough to study. They are definitely scary and debilitating and I am sorry you are experiencing them so regularly.

I hope you have some positive things happen to you today!

You've touched on one of my biggest frustrations of getting old: fumbling with reading glasses. The following discussion is anything but cool. No laughing or judgment from my millennial colleagues. And stay off of my damned lawn!

What I eventually landed on were bifocal or progressive reading glasses. When I get really busy behind the bar, I put them on and leave them on. You want a smaller pair (ie no aviators) so you can easily look over and under the glasses while wearing them. If all you need is help with tiny print, get a bifocal pair. If you have issues with mid-distance as well, like reading the the POS, get the progressives. The bifocals work great for me. Another option is half-frame or slim readers. They're easy to look over, under and around. This is what I keep at home for reading. A simple Amazon or Google search should turn up hundreds of options. And if you really want to look like a geek, pick up a glasses chain, rope or strap (especially if you work beach or poolside). I often use one, or I'm forever searching for my readers when I need them.

All of these option take a shift or two to get used to. So don't start out on a crazy weeded night. It was a fairly quick adjustment for me and I rarely even notice them anymore, only that I can see what I need to, when I need to.

~Good luck

u/EliseMN · 3 pointsr/asktransgender

OMG! I can't believe anyone would think it's okay to appropriate near- and far-sighted culture like that!

Seriously, though, it's fine. Part of me (as a full-time glasses wearer) is like "why would you wear glasses if you don't have to?" but if I'm honest with myself, I think my face looks better with them. And there's no question in my mind that the right glasses can make a difference in regard to gender cues.

Have you actually had an eye exam lately? Even if you don't need glasses, it's important to get your eyes checked periodically for other potential issues. You might even be surprised and find out that a little bit of correction would help.

Even if you don't need any correction, there are glasses that you can get that supposedly ease eyestrain looking at computer screens (they block some blue light) like [these]

I've bought prescription glasses from eyebuydirect.com and they also offer lots of options for non-prescription and sunglasses and are very reasonably priced. I've also heard good things about Zenni Optical.

u/PM_me_your_EDS_tips · 2 pointsr/ehlersdanlos

I’ve benefited from wrist strengthening. Mostly to tolerate general strength exercises, but it also improved random pain from maintaining certain positions.

Here’s what I did, or would do with the benefit of hindsight. Keep in mind if something hurts it’s usually best to avoid the behavior that results in pain, such as setting your phone on something or using prism glasses and laying down.

I’d choose one exercise for wrist flexion, one for wrist extension, and one for wrist pronation/rotation. Here’s my approach. I also did a gripper squeeze exercise, and something like this for finger extension. This video has some good info and alternatives. Eccentric work may promote more adaptation in connective tissue, so using both hands to close the gripper and one to control the opening might allow a higher intensity, but stay focused on avoiding injury.

I’d suggest being cautious with resistance, and aim for 45s of work in each set. You can rest one side while working the other, and take more time to rest if you need it. If you’re failing to reach 45s, or at least 30s, it may be too intense. If you can make it to 60s, perhaps it’s time to make it more difficult. I’d suggest adding a second and third set of each exercise and make sure you’re recovering well before increasing intensity. Don’t add more than one set per session (don’t jump from 1 set to 3 sets). Allow 48hrs between sessions, such as MWF.

Hope that helps, I have more fitness resources here, there are alternative exercises in the grip section.

u/living_vicariously · 1 pointr/Fibromyalgia

I wear glasses too so I got ones like these that fit over my glasses. I wear them for about an hour when I'm trying to fall asleep. I can't fall asleep without the TV on but screens emit blue spectrum light that triggers your brain to think it's daytime. Filtering out that light helps your brain produce it's own melatonin and will help you relax. I've also found they help when I have migraines. It's a little weird to watch TV with an amber filter and I look silly laying in bed wearing old lady glasses but you get used to it after a while and it becomes second nature. On the upside, they're very cheap considering how much they've helped me :)

u/jdog90000 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Is Girlsplaywow is a jerk even a proper ENglish? We'll have to consult the higher ups on this one. Personally you seem like a super cool gal. I hope I can get to know you better at some point :)

Stay frosty!!

These glasses would really help my eyes out because I spend all day staring at a computer screen. -_-

u/persephone10 · 1 pointr/TwoXChromosomes

That's what I have! Frames are super old and getting bent out of shape. I also need new lenses because of my prescription changing. I was looking at these for a change of pace but they're super expensive if I got new lenses in them, too. But I LOVE them!
http://www.amazon.com/COACH-BERNICE-844-Eyeglasses/dp/B0057J8JHU (looking at them in brown)

u/callouspenguin · 3 pointsr/Games

So I bought a pair on sale for something around 25 dollars because I, like you, thought they were bullshit. I'm an optical engineer who happens to play a boatload of computer games, so I have the methods to test them.

Yes, they filter light out and change the temperature of what you're viewing. Yes, they have an AR coating, which helps to reduce glare a lot.

However, if you don't get them on sale they are ridiculously expensive, and even more so if you need prescription versions. Save yourself the trouble. If you're on your computer, use f.lux. This used to not work great with fullscreen modes and had some issues where it would pop in and out of tint, but the program has made some great strides.

If you game a lot on console/can't be arsed to install and modify f.lux or for whatever reason can't use it, then I highly suggest getting something to help your eyes out. Here's a sample pair from another, much cheaper, company:

http://www.amazon.com/GR003-C1-Ergonomic-Protection-Resistant-53-16-140/dp/B00BQ7KBV4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1414685207&sr=8-2&keywords=tinted+computer+glasses

There are cheaper options as well, depending on style.

u/Trance00 · 2 pointsr/Nootropics

https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Blocking-Amber-Glasses-Sleep/dp/B01GSFTX08/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1537501619&sr=8-4&keywords=blue+blocking+glasses

I found these to be a much cheaper version, better design than the dorky/bulky construction ones. A bit too good to be driving with. A good blue/green blocker will block all the light, so you won't see a green signal. That's your street test. A lot of glasses out there don't do what they say (but might be useful for driving at night).

F.lux is really good, though Iristech blocks more of the the spectrum that ought to be. However, f.lux is ineed the free one, and not bad in and of itself.

u/GhostBond · 1 pointr/mildlyinteresting

Polycarb is one of the worst materials. CR39 is the cheapest lens material that is also the best for not having visual artifacts.

Older anti-glare coatings were terrible. Newer ones are far better (personal experience) and made an improvement for me for driving at night.

The best anti-glare coating I've used while driving was on this cheap pair of computer glasses that I tried:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RJ3OYWG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think it simply uses a coating like Crizal Preventia that filters out certain blue light. It almost completely eliminated night driving glare for me (though I do not see stars, I just see a lot of glare from oncoming headlights).

All that being said, if the root cause is on your eyeball I don't know how much glasses can improve things. But CR39 + Crizal Preventia (or similar blue blocking antiglare coating) is the best I've used for avoiding oncoming headlight glare at night.

u/SlyCooper1324 · 1 pointr/cosplay

Is there any way to actually stud them myself? Sort sort of kit I'm not aware of? Sorry for the late reply by the way, been busy.

I've already found something for a mask but I'm having trouble deciding. There's This One which seems to resemble the most in terms of amount of spikes. But then there's this one which has a decent amount of spikes as well but actually shapes to your nose similar to Wrench's actual mask.

As for glasses, I've already found probably the best store bought thing you can find for this. They're called "Chemion Glasses" They display text, emojis and anything you can create. You can check them out here if you'd like.

I'm with you... just bought some super cheap felix gray imitators on Amazon. Haven't received them yet, but the reviews are pretty good.

Yep! These are the ones I got. I liked the clear lenses better because they don't really mess with colors.

u/3disamazing · 9 pointsr/ProductPorn

I bought one and hopes it will work great. I always searching for something like this to watch series while on bed.

u/citadel712 · 3 pointsr/LifeProTips

You can try any / all of these. I put them in order of what I would try first:

  1. Ambient light - If you are in a dark room, the bright monitor will strain your eyes. Turn on a lamp or something. I use a dim light behind me when working at night.

  2. The 20-20-20 rule, or something similar. Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away, for 20 seconds. Basically, don't just stare at your screen for hours on end.

  3. Something like f.lux, or computer glasses. The harsh blue light from computer screens contributes to eye strain. Cutting out the blue via software (f.lux) or glasses meant for computers helps. Many people don't like this option at first because it screws with your colors, but you'll eventually get used to it. IMO not really re

  4. Artificial Tears - These are special eye drops. These are not Visine or other similar products that get redness out (don't use those, they make things worse), but rather lubricant drops. Something like Systane Ultra, or other "Lubricant Eye Drops" can help your eyes if they are drying out. They're kind of expensive: a small $15 bottle will last 2-6 months or so, depending on how often you use them.

It looks like they have a few options at amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=LED+Display+hat+cap&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

They sell pretty cool LED Display sunglasses too: https://www.amazon.com/CHEMION-Customizable-Bluetooth-Festivals-Animation/dp/B01B41PHJM

I switch between glasses and contacts pretty regularly and work using a computer 8 hours a day. I actually have a pair of light yellow tinted perscription glasses specifically for computer and gaming use.

As I do wear contacts too, I bought these from Amazon and they have been great.

u/concussionrecovery · 1 pointr/Concussion

Hi

Your brain needs to adjust to this new stressor as it is a different combination of stimuli. You do need to ease back into it. Try to see if you can take it easier on all the "extras" and focus on letting yourself re-adapt. The right combination of "challenging" yourself but allowing some recovery. It gets easier but the transition is hard. But you need to make that first step. You wouldn't run a marathon in one day but you need to slowly challenge your system for RUNNING if that what you want to get good at.. training for something else will still make running hard.

If you are still having some lingering untreated extra challenges (such as visual deficits) that can drain your battery faster so make sure its not your vision thats really making you feel awful. Or your vestibular system still not being in good shape.

If you have counselling, its probably a good idea to continue. You need to reduce your stress levels as much as possible as it will affect your sleep and ultimately your resilience and adaptability to new stimuli. The brain has a profound capacity for adaptability but it also needs the right environment.

EDIT: I forgot to add that you should try using tools to maximize your performance and reduce extra strain until you are ready like blue light reducing glasses or musician ear plugs to dull sounds etc.

I used these:

https://www.amazon.com/SPEKTRUM-PROSPEK-Computer-Professional-Blocking/dp/B00RJ3OYWG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1536599877&sr=8-3&keywords=spektrum%2Bglasses&th=1

(I started with the yellow tinted version b/c it blocked more blue light and then transitioned to these as I felt better)

https://www.earpeace.com/products/earplugs?variant=43678121796

Then conserve your energy until the times you NEED to do something and as you build more stamina.. make it harder.

I would be really happy to receive either of those items but I feel too weird about them to buy them for myself yet.

Please and thanks.

I don't know of any, but if you need help with eye strain, I recommend getting a pair of computer glasses. I personally use these https://www.amazon.com/Gunnar-Optiks-PPK-00101-Advanced-Compatibility/dp/B004FN1AES/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&qid=1466296372&sr=8-21&keywords=gunnar+glasses

u/Jrmental · 2 pointsr/migraine

These help me a lot!
Migraine Headache Glasses:... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004XLVZQ0?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

I prefer those to this other pair I've tried:
(These didn't help me at all)

Hope this helps!

u/ConfidentRow · 1 pointr/cscareerquestions

Have you tried using the computer glasses from amazon like these. I don't know if it'd help though.

u/Torisuta · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

You can give them a try. The ones I really want are $200. These help me as long as I'm consistent. Like literally put them on the moment I wake up.

u/po1ymath · 17 pointsr/LifeProTips

Buy one of these and you can read while laying flat on your back. They're called prism glasses and yes, I have a pair :)

u/renzollo · 1 pointr/pcgaming

No, I had laser surgery some years ago, but my vision was completely stable for quite a long time before that. I have occasionally worn computer glasses like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BQ7KBV4/ but I never felt any significant difference at the end of the day.

u/unregisteredusr · 1 pointr/Foodforthought

Woah that's a great idea... Are they these types of things? http://www.amazon.com/GR004-C1-Ergonomic-Protection-Resistant-53-16-137/dp/B00BQMN4DQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410828680&sr=8-1&keywords=computer+glasses

I have a coworker who wears these, he says it reduces eyestrain.

Regarding streetlights, you probably don't even need a network at all, just have a timer in each streetlight programmed with a schedule. Maybe that'll catch on in another 10 years

u/OldHob · 10 pointsr/editors

Obviously you wouldn’t want to wear these while color grading, but I have a friend who swears by these tinted glasses for reducing eye strain.

I actually use these in conjunction with an ergonomic stand that straddles my body so that all my joints are in a neutral position. I look all sorts of ridiculous, but my vertebrae loves me for it.

u/YouareMrRobot · 3 pointsr/Futurology

Here you go: http://www.amazon.com/Instant-20-Adjustable-Glasses/dp/B00GM01TMA there are others like this which could maybe help depending on blindness level. Also, water glasses.

u/frozenlores · 21 pointsr/gaming

Couldn't someone just use something like these.. only wear them in reverse (so they are pointing up)?

Prism glasses or These

> Reizen Prism Bed Spectacles allow you watch television or read while lying down in bed without neck strain. The lenses are right angle prisms that change the normal line of sight without any distortion. Just lay down in bed, put on the bed spectacles and you'll be able to read a book or view the TV screen as though it was directly in front of you.

I would love to see a pic of someone wearing those looking normally straight ahead, thus defeating Walmart!!

u/TheCoronersGambit · 1 pointr/graphic_design

Yep. I've got a pair of Gamma Ray glasses as well.

Here's a link for anyone that's interested since I just passed it in a different comment. They're $13 on Amazon right now.

u/animeturtles · 1 pointr/funny

I've ordered these and found them too heavy and overall a bad design. I especially disliked that you can't detach the prisms.

Then I bought this model (there are several at similar prices, all identical from one particular company in China as far as I can see) and liked them much more. The tolerances are ridiculously high because they are cheap as shit and the prism alignment can be pretty bad, BUT you can take out the prisms and adjust for all those faults easily. You can even bend the frame when you warm it up a bit. Optometricians and stores that specialize in glasses usually have a machine that blows hot air on frames to do just that, which you can ask them to use.

I've used them as an alternative to extremely expensive belaying/rockclimbing glasses and I'm very satisfied with the value I received (and the quality I got out of it with minimal fixes).

I bought some of these just to see if they would make a difference. It took a day to get used to them but Now I wear them literally all day every day. It makes everything so much easier on your eyes. I definitely see a difference when staring at my computer all day and also while I'm driving at night.

I actually bought some from Amazon last week, and I have been cautiously testing them out. This means I overstepped the two hour mark by up to 20 minutes. So far, so good. I am off from work all next week so I will
do more in depth testing then, when there's no risk of impacting my work.

I'll post the link to the glasses I purchased in a few.

You can get computer glasses that cut down on blue glare, and they don't magnify/give you a headache. No prescription needed - you can easily get a pair off Amazon. (random example - I don't have these, but I have something similar that works well: https://smile.amazon.com/PROSPEK-Premium-Computer-Professional-Blocking/dp/B00RJ3OYWG?th=1)

Try some gamma ray glasses (like these). I think Gunnar glasses are way over priced, so I bought myself a pair of these because my eyes would strain quite a bit while gaming. Now I can actually play a game for over an hour now.

I wonder if these would be any good for cycling if you flipped the direction. I don't like the idea of having a glass mirror in case I wipe out. The tan lines would be strange too.

If you have the overwhelming urge to buy these glasses, I went out of my way to find the link. They are kind of neat.

u/DwelveDeeper · 1 pointr/tumblr

Using the stylus for the DS is a little tricky, and takes some getting used to. If you're playing a game that only requires the control pad then it's easy. I don't have the vita but I imagine it'd be easier than the DS.

I think these are the ones I got:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0006ZZCJI?pc_redir=1407351170&robot_redir=1

Again, only complaint is that they're a bit heavy, I'd maybe search around for lighter ones. And they make things seem a little further away, they have the same distorting effect as the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" mirror on cars

u/TheHoundThatRides · 5 pointsr/LosAngeles

If any of you guys work in front of a computer or under flourescent lights, blue-light filtering glasses are game-changers and I suggest you get some. As nerdy as they'll make you look, it's worth it to reduce eye strain.

I scratched up a pair I've had for 4 years now and for the first time in my life, paid same-day shipping for a new pair since I don't want to go without em.

u/frere_de_la_cote · 3 pointsr/mildlyinteresting

No need to use mirrors like you would in a periscope, just use a prism.

Amazon has some on sale too.

u/itzregardie · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I can vouch for these. I had a lot of eyestrain from reading my online text books - these removed it completely.

To add to this: I got mine on Amazon for $14.99. I was getting terrible headaches every other day from eye strain. Haven’t had one since. Just make sure the magnification is 0.00x unless you want/need reading glasses.

u/coolcool23 · 45 pointsr/mildlyinteresting

If the goal was to reduce intensity they should have used red light. Blue light is much more taxing on the average person's eyes and has been linked to sleep disorders. That's why they make these.

Edit: Here is a link

u/robertbright777 · 2 pointsr/TwoBestFriendsPlay

I had this same problem. I found out that it's the bluelight that in the screen and lights that cause this. I bought some bluelight blocking glasses and wear them when I feel some eye strain. My boss uses them too, he calls them a pillow for your eyes lol. These are what I bought http://amzn.to/2eRCvEQ

u/dazzlingblueberry7 · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

It's worth the shock to just know what you're fighting tbh. Here is a pair that I have, they should work for this and are nice to have if you ever have to stare at the computer.

u/tomanonimos · 1 pointr/lasik

Install f.lux and invest in computer glasses. If these do not make it better than its most likely Lasik. I haven't gotten lasik yet but I do have the symptoms you have now and installing f.lux fixed the vision loss.

u/fangirlsqueee · 3 pointsr/Fibromyalgia

You might benefit from periscope glasses.

Related rant; It annoys me that another name for these are LAZY GLASSES. Ah yes, laziness is the only reason people might need these...

u/InLieuOfGoldSendTits · 1 pointr/EyeFloaters

No problem!

Another thing is if you spend a lot of time on the computer grab some of those yellow tinted glasses. I got these:

Gamma Ray Blue Light Blocking Computer Glasses TV Phones Screens Not Magnified 0.00 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BQ7KBV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VJKHDbGCV97J2

The ones I got are almost unnoticeably yellow and look like regular glasses so I don't feel weird wearing them, but they've helped with my eye strain a bit too. I think I had eyestrain before the floaters but didn't really think about it until the floaters started.
