I had my baby at 6:08 a.m., and my parents and MIL were at the hospital by 9 a.m. and wanting to see the baby. I was cool with that, but then they kinda hung around in shifts until I left the hospital 2 days later! I had other aunts and my brother and sis-in-law and 4yo niece come up, too, and it was all just so overwhelming. I didn't feel comfortable BFing in front of anyone but my mom, and couldn't do proper skin to skin in front of anyone, really, so if I had to do it again, I'd prob say "visitors only from 2-5pm, and please text first to be sure I'm up for a visit." So, putting a limit on the timeframe. And I did end up telling about 5 different sets of family members that I wasnt ready for a visit once I got home, and I'm so glad I finally spoke up then.
Please don't be anxious about being a good mom- you'll meet your little one and all these feelings of wanting to just protect and love him/her will kick in. I honestly don't like kids all that much, but I feel like I'm already doing a pretty kick-ass job as a mom and love my daughter with all my heart. Things that seem hard or totally foreign to you now (like maybe diaper changes, sleep schedule, reading your baby's cries) will come to you, and things will start to click and you'll gain confidence as a mother. And it'll take time because you AND baby are both new to this! But trust me, you'll be an awesome mom and the best mom to your child. :)
And the (litterbox) sitz bath is a little awkward to sit in, I know they make things that fit in your toilet seat for this purpose:

Best of luck to ya, you're going to do great with your husband!
Do you bite your nails? I ask because I used to bite mine really badly until about four years ago when I was finally able to quit for good and mine looked a lot like yours do now.
So the good news is that there are a few things that you can do to make them look better but the bad news is that it takes a really long time and you probably won't see much difference by the time you go to the wedding. For the short term, maybe consider press-ons? They've come a very long way since we were little and there are many out there that at first glance, look completely natural, even on less than perfect nails. Look for the ImPress brand (usually like $7-8 or so) and get ones that look pretty simple and natural like a french tip and unless someone is really staring at your fingers, I doubt they will notice!
For the long term, what I've done that's helped is to get into a nail care routine. Cuticle oil, nail file, orange sticks, and a cuticle trimmer or liquid remover are the tools you'll want. Two to three times a week (at least in the beginning, you can do it less frequently once they start to look like you want them to) take an orange stick and use the flat side to gently push back the skin around your nail. Some people oil them first to help soften them, I just usually do it after a shower while they're softer anyway. Then use the trimmer or liquid remover to get rid of the dead skin that's pushed back. I personally like this kind of trimmer but you have to be really careful that you don't accidentally cut the live skin. You're really just shaving away the dead skin with it. There's also this kind of nipper some people prefer and then there's the liquid stuff like this that dissolves the dead skin with no trimming required at all. It's all really just what you're comfortable with. Then oil them up when you're done, and if possible, oil them as many times a day as you can remember to. I try to do it at least once in the morning and once before I go to bed.
Then with regard to filing, let them grow out a bit more and like someone else suggested, file the sides down where they flare out, but only at the free edges. You should try to avoid cutting altogether. For rounder nail beds, a round shape tends to look better IMO.
So, forgive my awful MS paint skills but I drew on your pic a bit to help illustrate what I'm talking about. On your pointer finger, the spot that I circled is the area you're wanting to try to grow out and reattach to the nail bed. On the middle finger, I tried (I know, terribly lol) to illustrate how it would look after your cuticle line is pushed back over time and the nail bed reattaches along the sidewalls and then of course the white part is grown out and filed in a round shape. It all comes down to permanently pushing your cuticles back to expose more of the nail bed and allowing the sidewalls to reattach at the tips. Also, when you clean under your nails, be super gentle and don't push back the skin underneath - you want that to reattach to give you longer nail beds.
A lot of it just genetics and mine still don't look like nail blogger nails, but doing this has made a huge difference. I started really noticing results in about six months and now, you'd never know that they used to be super short. I still have some flaring on the sides, but I just file it away. I know this is like novel length, but mine used to look almost exactly like yours (except I had no white edge because I bit it all off lol) so I can totally relate to how you feel! I'd quit biting for a couple of months and then get so discouraged when they didn't look any better and just give up and bite again and it wasn't until I started really putting in the routine and effort that I was able to make it look better. I hope this helps! :)
Hello lovely! You seem to be doing awesome! I mean, they're already pink, you totally know what you're doing. ;)
Okay, so for the chipping so quickly, check out this super crappy video!. I never could find a close up of exactly how to do it on Youtube, so yeah. There's my face. This will help to extend the life of the top coat and thus mani! If it gets on your fingers, no biggie. It comes off in the shower or with acetone. :)
Here's what I use for a base coat, and generally for making my nails long and strong. Bats suggestion is another super common one! This one just happened to work well for me to help with chipping, so I figured kill two birds with one stone. I pair this with (I go through rotations and use what fits my needs...) either seche or this quick dry topper Poshe. Both seem to be nice, but I have noticed Poshe can be easier on the cuticle edges when it dries... Less pull of the coloring perhaps?
This is the set I use for clean up around the cuticle edges right now. The "ideal" is to paint a centimeter or something AWAY from the cuticle, then use the brushes (I dip in pure acetone) to perfectly clean up the line or round it out! The top coat generally should land/start in that blank space, so it's double effective to paint away from the edge initially. :D
Also, it will make a huge difference if you start pushing your cuticles back! I use this metal set because I'm irrationally terrified of getting splinters from the wooden ones. I use a cheap walmart cuticle softner before pushing back, but this is my dream formula since it's so highly recommended. BY pushing them back when you start to see them, it helps clear the nail and thus have less to let the polish stick to! Hurray! You're not supposed to use the scary looking scissor thingies too often, but I do use it on one very specific corner on my left thumb. I have one stupid stubborn cuticle skin flap that refuses to go away without being gently tweezed/cut off. I always make sure to wash with an anti bacterial soap immediately after and like to slather on some delicious cuticle oil LIKE PUMPKIN BANANA BREAD after to give them some softness again!
If you've got any more questions, I WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOUUUUU. <333
I am not a wheelchair user, but my brother is. You might invest in one of these reacher/grabbers to help you get things from high up or off the floor. Are you only using the chair when you're at work?
As a teacher, my main concern would be maintaining a visual on each student in the room, which is much harder to do when you're sitting down. I also would think you'd want to make aisles between desks wide enough for you to navigate so your students can't take advantage of your not being able to get to them. My best suggestion, if you have enough space for this, would be to arrange your classroom so that all desks face inward, either in a circle, semi-circle, or square. This way you could teach from the middle of the room and maintain line-of-sight as well as easy access to each student. You will probably also need to rearrange your storage around the room so that you can reach everything you need.
As for gloves, you may want to find a pair designed specifically for use with a wheelchair, like these. Whereas the padding on bicycling gloves will be at the base of your fingers, the wheelchair gloves have padding in the space between your thumb and forefinger.
My advice for dealing with people who are offended by this (and I know a lot of disability rights advocates who would be) is to be respectful of their position and recognize that they're looking at this from a different perspective. In my opinion, they have a valid point and I see where they're coming from. But you have a legitimate point of view too, and it's obvious you're not doing this to make fun of disabilities or to cheapen the reality of disabled people's struggles, but rather to learn more about it and to spread awareness.
What kind of chair are you going to use? If you use a generic sling-seat version you can get at a drug store, you will find it absolutely necessary to get a better seat cushion for yourself, and probably better back support as well. I would not want to sit in one of those for 7 hours of teaching.
Good luck to you!
Cheap and reliable is best for fire.
Even more important when you need fire, sometimes you need it NOW! and delays, dead batteries etc are not okay.
The only thing the above video fails to do is use a double boiler so what you want is to make a "cup" or the like with some tinfoil, put the wax in that, then set the cup into a pot of boiling water. In this way clean up is a breeze, whatever wax you don't use you can just wait to cool and harden and throw away with the tin foil.
These "magic biscuits" style fire starters will stay dry forever, and you can "crack" them in half to expose cotton fibers for things like flint and steel starters or the focus point of your Fresnel lens, or a match. etc.
Make use of the small fire you do start.
Made in america version for $12 from amazon.
Absolute cheapest version $4
Skills
Fire is great. You don't need to go out int he pouring rain to start a fire, but doing so once in a while will help. Same with the wind. Mostly you need to know how to build a stack of wood so that stuff burns. There are many ways to do this.
Fire cups!

I wish I had brought more breakfast food (I brought bacon, sausage, milk, coffee and pop-tarts). I kinda felt like an asshole while I was eating like a king right in front of all of my new friends, lesson learned. :)
I have a similar setup for VR, 3xMFD+UFC, it works great, takes a little time to build up the muscle memory, but within a few hours it'll feel quite natural for you. Your setup looks great, I made one of the UFCs mentioned elsewhere in this thread, you will definitely love that upgrade when you do it.
Tip: get some bump dot stickers and place them strategically on your MFDs/UFC. I put big dots on the center button on all 4 sides of my MFDs so I can quicklytell which is the center button, and then small dots on button 1 and 5 on each side. Makes it quick and easy to tell which MFD button your finger is on. something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Mixed-Bump-Dots-Sizes-Colors/dp/B00II5TM6W/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=tactile+stickers&qid=1557502249&s=gateway&sr=8-2
Great questions! Our original plan was to put it on my side of the bed but we ended up with it at the foot of the bed for a few reasons. First, the thing is huge and it would be hard to crawl around it to get in and out of bed. Second it would require my husband to walk around the bed to get to the babies which would mean I’d be probably doing more of the checking on babies. Also newborns are loud as hell so having them next to my face would keep me up even more. At the foot of the bed we’re able to each easily scoot down to check on them and being able to rotate to get to each baby is awesome. I will say it wasn’t easy for me in the beginning and my husband did have to do more of the scooting and lifting them out. I had a csection with a pretty rough recovery so I wasn’t super mobile. I got a bed ladder that I can’t recommend enough if you end up with a csection (or for when you get too big to get out of bed easily). Someone posted a meme making fun of these that I saw while pregnant and instantly bought it and it was a game changer while pregnant and after. It helped me sit up to then get down to the Halo.
All in all, it’s definitely a luxury item at the price it is but I think it’s worth the investment. Plus you can probably resell it when you’re done.
be religious about moisturizing. seriously every time your hands get wet/ you clean anything/ you are bored... whatever. after a while hopefully your cuticles will be more moisturized and stop catching if they do that (mine did) I like this neutrogena one.. its a little greasy but that makes me feel like it is really working, and it doesn't feel like it washes off right away.
I would also really recommend NOT cutting your cuticles for a while- if they are really ragged it can be tempting, because it may seem like it will help, but until they are properly moisturized its not a good idea. once you feel like your cuticles are very moisturized you may want to try a chemical cutical remover (I use this one)- its harder to create jagged edges or take too much skin off, and helped me immensely because I had a big problem with picking, but after some serious moisturizing and the cuticle remover there was nothing to pick and my cuticles looked great!
hope this is helpful!!!
Right leg ACL. Was driving stick after 3 weeks. Most of the delay was the car, a Subaru Legacy, which is fairly low. Doc's advice was as soon as I could push the brakes hard enough to lift myself out of the seat with no pain, I could drive again.
Drove my Bronco sooner than than, but that's an automatic and much easier to get into. Probably 1.5-2 weeks for short drives. Same leg strength test.
TBH, best advice is get one of those handles that clips into the door latch. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Able-Life-Auto-Assist-Grab/dp/B00I45JJQO
It was a godsend for me because it made is SO much easier to get in and out the car.
Thank you for posting this, I'm glad someone did since I've been wanting to discuss my solution. Amazon sells different catheters that also quality for Prime shipping (gotta save that money).
There's also different ways to mount the bag.
I haven't used a usb microscope but my understanding is that depth perception can be a real problem. I use an AmScope binocular stereo microscope. It does have a port for a camera that blocks one lens. If I want to record, I would use a separate usb microscope. This is rather pricey and I just happened to get a great deal at an auction. There are cheaper options, but that may give you an idea of the ideal optics. The barlow lens helps with the wider field of view and the lights are great. Another option is a headband magnifier like this. It may be enough an even if not, would still come in handy when the scope is overkill.
I haven't built Tides2 yet (it arrives in the mail tomorrow) but I've done some of the other 0402 Mutable stuff recently. Personally, I can't imagine doing even 0603 with an iron... it's too fiddly and the boards have too many parts.
Get a hot air station from Aliexpress and some stencils from OSH. The hot air station is awesome, I can't believe it was less than $20 -- despite being labeled 858D, it does NOT have the wiring / grounding / fuse issues that I've seen other people complain about this model who bought it a year or two ago. Everything is electrically correct and it works great. I use it with no nozzle attached and at the lowest air speed (which seems fast to me, sometimes I actually hold a finger over part of the air intake to slow it down a little bit).
I also recommend some inexpensive magnifying glasses from Amazon (links below). My preferred solder paste is Chip Quik SMD291AX10T5. Get some SMD practice boards from Ebay so you get the hang of the hot air station before you try the real PCB. They're like $1 each and include several different parts to practice with.
I've done 8+ Mutable boards in the past month with this setup (some are 0402, some have CPUs with fine pitch pins) and haven't had any major issues. Everything works. Just make sure you follow general proper procedures such as knowing how to read the Eagle files, how to test for shorts, how to follow the signal around the PCB, how to program the CPU with the JTAG/SWD interface (and how to set up the Mutable Dev Environment)... and it should be easy.

Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional, take my advice with a grain of salt.
My wife suffers from chronic back due to an improperly placed epidural. One thing that helped her was a back brace with lumbar belt. Here's one for reference:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GVO2PVK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_3OoQBb524XVBD
There are also bed assist handles. They are secured to the bed, and help the person pull themselves up:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005JIJRZ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_aXoQBbHKRNP8W
Finally, you might consider a reading/seat pillow. It supports you so that you can rest sitting up. My grandmother used one of these to help get out of bed when her sciatica prevented her from being able to get off her back: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0733ZCSR9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-YoQBbNP02W5K
I'm not sure about exosuits for the elderly, I know that they exist, but i don't know any suppliers. Still, a combination of these (maybe all of them) may help. Best of luck.
I did the TV for Zwift, but didn't want to pay for 2 things and I like Trainer Road better so dropped zwift, still use the TV. Fan has a remote control and 4 settings, the remote is super useful as I start with it on the lowest setting.

It'll be okay because yellow polish!
a laser, like a laser pointer, is a very bright light source, it will easily trigger a phototransistor. See here for example circuit There's no need to have more than one detector, so what you might want is to have a large light collector, such as a fresnel lens which in this case is not for its usual application (collecing a large amount of light and focussing it) but rather for collecting a fixed amount of light (the laser beam) and making sure it gets focussed onto the detector. Actually, as I think about it, the laser is probably bright enough that if you made like a box with the phototransistor at the back and a large frosted translucent sheet over the front, I would expect it to be sensitive enough to detect the light scattered into the sensor.
Now, because you also specified the timing accuracy /u/suprjami is certainly right, the rpi itself won't be accurate enough. This is because it will be checking the status of the voltage on a pin in a loop that will take several milliseconds to run. The arduino can run this loop much faster, and since you're looking for a time interval you could simply have the arduino count the time interval and output that to the rpi over serial and display it.
You need to learn how to use a white mobility cane. I'd recommend one with a roller tip that rolls on the ground so that you can detect dropoffs when you come to them, like curbs or stairs. Try to find a blind mobility teacher to teach you how to cross streets properly. Here's a link to give you an example (be sure to add a 'roller tip') https://ambutech.com/shop-online/aluminum-mobility-cane
Putting little sticker bumps on things that you need to use precisely. Lots of buttons on the microwave? Put a bump on the +1 minute and reset time. How do you set a stove burner to 4? Put a bump on 4 when it's at the 12 o'clock position. Here's a link to adhesive bumps: https://www.amazon.com/Mixed-Bump-Dots-Sizes-Colors/dp/B00II5TM6W
Figure out your bus routes now. You'll be using a lot of public transportation. You have to know by heart how to get to the store, pharmacy, bank, barber, post office all by yourself.
NVDA is a software that speaks everything on the screen. Very useful when magnifier doesn't do the trick anymore.
Start folding your money now. At a certain point, you won't be able to tell the difference. I don't know if Egypt uses blind-friendly money. 1's stay unfolded. 5's fold in half the long way. 10's fold one corner. 20's fold in half the short way. 100's fold both corners. etc..
Don't let the fear overwhelm you. It gets easier with time.
I used the peri bottle and the numbing spray a lot if I remember correctly. But seriously - the sitz bath - $9 from amazon - you fill the bag with the absolute hottest water you can physically stand, and put in some epsom salt (in the basin), and you just sit in it. When the water starts to get cold, you undo the valve a little, and new super hot water comes into the bowl. Its awesome. You can probably pick one up at CVS or something - they gave it to me at the hospital after my son was born. Probably charged my insurance $100 for it too. :)
My son was in the NICU for a few days, so I was walking around, but i didn't have anything with my tailbone, and I imagine that is where a lot of your pain is coming from as well.
Did they give you the numbing spray and the peri bottle? I think I used the peri bottle for a really long time. I would fill that up with really hot water before I would have to "go" and then I would use that, and just pat dry.
Not sure what I did about work tho... I feel like I brought an extra peri bottle in to work. In fact, I'm pretty sure I did.
It took longer to heal internally than externally, so when I say 5 months, that was just for all the internal areas to be at 100%. And at the end it was more like having a scrape inside me that was slowly healing, it wasn't intense pain. Just made intimate times uncomfortable, which I credit my husband a lot for not pressuring me at all.
Grabbed it on amazon... not on the cheap side but it’s pretty awesome. Has 2.5x magnifier lens built in and adjustable light temp and brightness.
Brightech LightView PRO - LED... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WWP4VKB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Given the time and expertise needed for a screen upgrade / replacement and the cost of a Model Sample, the easiest way I see to use an external screen would be to upgrade to a Digitakt and use Overbridge.
If that's not possible, probably something you've already considered or tried, but I'd go for something like this so that it easily gets out of the way when not needed.
It would be great if there was an iPad companion app for all Elektron boxes with real time updates using the same protocol as Overbridge, minus the audio. It would probably get more use than Overbridge as it is.
Great helpful write up! Some clarifying questions:

I'd recommend using a password manager to have your CC info, address available with one click. My password manager 1Password fills in all those fields almost instantly, saving you those precious seconds. You don't have to read your numerical CC info, 1Password fills in all those numbers.
I never see anyone on here talk about shower alternatives so I figured I would share one of our tricks. We use these wipes at a different gathering we attend that doesn't have showers. You can stay reasonably clean using antibacterial wipes, and they are great after a long day. Baby wipes are great for wiping the dust off your face as well. I keep little package in my camel back at all times.
I love my bed table. Its kinda like a hospital table. Something like THIS. And I love my Sweatshirt Socks.
Thats a possibility, but we ordered a few sheets of stick on bumps like this.
The little orange ones are a godsend honestly.
Look, I'm not trying to be an enabler, but.......click this link and purchase immediately.
I actually bought it for my paints, and in the process of googling to find reviews I saw that image and of course started making a mental list of everything I own that can be crimped....you can do it to plastic tubes too (I've done my toothpaste....) but it doesn't hold its shape like a metal tube does. I told myself it would end up paying for itself since I can get the last dregs of paint/hand cream/etc out of the tubes, but so far it's really just been a shopping excuse! Highly recommend :)
I had a vaginal vac assisted birth resulting in 3rd degree tear + episiotomy. My vagina was a nightmare.
I had tucks pads that I would keep in the fridge and put on my heavy duty Always pads to help my stitches(they're meant for hemorrhoid use but have witch hazel in them), I bought more of the mesh underwear since my hospital only provides 1 pair, I bought a sitz bath that can sit in your toilet(it saved me from sitting in a tub since getting down & out was a problem), I didn't breastfeed so I was also taking ibuprofen for pain relief.
Plus comfort foods husband would get me and lotsssssss of water to bring down the swelling in my feet & ankles.
Hope that helps!
Get your butt to a specialist surgeon .... someone who knows what he or she is doing with a pilonidal cyst. I had one as a teenager, got it lanced, removed a few months later, got married, pregnant for my first child, and the lovely thing reared (hah! pun) its ugly head again. Same doctor lanced it again. I still have it several decades later, but it has not filled again. Painful!!!! I don't ever want to go through that again. May I suggest a sitz bath ... its a basin that fits in the toilet and you run warm water in through a bag hung somewhere above you. The warm water is soothing and keeps the darn thing clean. I see that doctors don't prescribe them any more, but mine was a life saver. Grab your laptop or your tablet or whatever, and set yourself down for several minutes!
http://www.amazon.com/Carex-Health-Brands-P70800-Sitz/dp/B0000533E1
This is the actual one. I had to glue one of the "suction cup" type grabber end thingies. I may eventually glue the other. I used several applications of Shoe Goo (the magical and amazing glue). It is very cheap, and the rubbery suction cup thingy is good for pieces of paper and most things. Cigarette butts remain a challenge. I'd like a little "hand pump, non-motorized vacuum" for hitting them sometimes, if one were made.
It's a step short of "microscope" but I have a Donegan OptiVisor 2.5x that is great. They come in a few different magnification options.
If you go that route, be sure you don't get the cheap version with plastic lenses.
> Leica A60F
Ah! That must have been nice :) I may try getting a pair of magnifying glasses like these but I have a feeling I would be disappointed.. though, I suppose that some magnification is better than none.
These are some things I used and I can only recommend:
bed ladder
bed rail
See if you can wrap your hands around one of your legs and use the other to swing yourself back and forth / control how quickly you lay down. It really helped me, especially since I didn’t want to/couldn’t turn on my sides. Best of luck, these are the toughest parts of the recovery.
The easiest to work with are the Magnification Visors. They wrap your eyes and allow you to focus through the lenses.
If you are looking to do fine mechanical work I would recommend the visors. They come variable focus and some have loupes for your dominant eye to increase one eye magnification.

If for reading go with just a magnifying lens glasses.

This is what I use its good because it has a light, you can switch magnification, and it keeps your hands free.
I use a lamp.
This one actually
The nice thing about it is the adjustable lighting. It has two color LEDs, whitish and a redish you can adjust both independently of one another. I found myself getting headaches with the googles, the lamp has a spring arm so you can move it around with ease. The focal point is good and its from the lens not your face. Meaning its 6+ inches from lens and you are a foot behind lens.
Thanks! I dont use any special gear or anything. I use my phone, galaxy S8, to take all of my photos on my workbench which is lit by my work lamp
I usually tweak the brightness and contrast in the phone editor until it looks good before posting. Ive got plenty more photos here

A tube wringer or tube crimper. Here's an Amazon link for one that my sibling bought me as a Christmas gift (as they always squeezed the tube from the center and drove me insane). They got it half-jokingly, half-serious, but it's seriously such a great tool and I get every last bit of toothpaste out.
This Sally Hansen Cuticle Remover works really well. It's very gentle and works especially well after regular use.
I’ve actually found that my old iPhone 6 makes a surprisingly good low power microscope. Just hold it 6-8 inches above your PCB and use the digital zoom. Phone cameras tend to have several times the number of pixels of the screen, so you won’t even lose much quality. You also don’t really need that high resolution of an image anyway. You just need it to be bigger and well lit, so bring a lamp or flashlight.
I haven’t tried it as a soldering aid since I don’t do SMD yet. But I spent many years in biology labs manipulating sub-millimeter crystals under some really nice scopes, and I bet that a little rig to hold your phone up would work fine for hobby projects. And anyway, the price is right.
You can upgrade the rig and get some clip on lenses and a better phone arm
I use this magnifying lamp for a lot of work, but 2.25x isn’t enough for this. I think 5x would be good if they exist.
Headlamps are also an option, and this one does up to 13x.
They make bed rails that go under the mattress to secure them. Easy to add to any bed. Like this: Drive Medical Adjustable Height Home Bed Assist Handle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005JIJRZ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fyHJBbAB5AJFY
If you do decide to go back I hope you save them for your collection! You should get one of those handy grabbers!

Bonus: it sooooo satisfying seeing that tube go paper thin haha
Not silly, I had no idea either. It's a little bowl-type thing you put over your toilet and fill with warm water and epsom salts or whatever the doctor recommends. Then you sit on it and soak the area for 10–20 minutes. Quite nice actually! This is the one I bought.
In a moment of inspiration, I ordered this and this.
Now I have a monstrosity capable of wheeling my 4Ks over my bed or couch.

OK, but there are easier ways.
I agree... something might be messing with the vestibular system. Sinus problems could do it. Or might be a blood pressure issue instead.
You probably need to see a doctor.
also, if you dont mind, I've got a few ideas on making those chores more tolerable. you could get a plastic tub to set on the counter and keep dirty dishes in. When you're ready to load the dish washer, grab a step stool, set your tub on the ground, and sit by the dishwasher. (same could be done in reverse with clean dishes. load, move to counter, sort.)
as for picking stuff up, one of those grabber sticks could probably cut down on a fair amount of bending. Getting a basket and sitting down to pick up localized messes might also work. (if you want to get your older kids to clean up after themselves better, you could always do something like 'what goes in the basket goes a way for a week')

Walk to where senior citizen supplies are kept. Pick up a grabber claw, walk back and grab that Thermacare right off the floor.

There are handles that are designed to hook on to the door latch to be used as the handle.

I put this cuticle remover stuff on them, push em back with the wooden cuticle sticks, wash hands and then use the Burt's Bees cuticle cream. I do this maybe once a week, probably less.
I don't even know if the remover stuff is necessary for me. I don't have major cuticle issues and they never look that different after pushing.
How are there still so many primitives who don't use a toothpaste roller?
There are many options... stainless steel... even Tiffany's.

Sorry, it's been done. here
Yeah, you'd think Amazon would at least give them a discount on a piss bag they can wear so they don't have to take the time to put their dicks in a bottle, just go while they're working. This should allow Amazon to do the absolute maximum mental and physical damage to their workers on a daily basis, so that Bezos can add more billions to his existing ones.

This is the one that I got for my scrollsaw. It's not cheap, but I like it.
I’m similar to you in that I seem to have lots of cuticle skin and you can’t see much (or any, on some nails) of my moons.
I use Sally Hansen Cuticle Remover and push the skin back with an orange stick (or cuticle pusher) and then use cuticle nippers to cut the excess off.
I know lots of people are against the cutting of cuticles, but if I don’t then they snag / tear and bleed.
Just a side note, not being able to see the moons can be a sign of B12 deficiency or thyroid issues. I have both.
Get one of those tools that you put on your toothpaste that keeps it all pushed to the front for you. This is the one that I use:
https://www.amazon.com/Simon-Stelz-Toothpaste-Squeezer-Dispenser/dp/B018PT1UD8/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_201_bs_tr_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=9T2QNX4B0Z47B6KNE4GG
I think it will solve your problem completely tbh. It won't matter where she squeezes from the tube, because you can instantly correct it by pushing the tool forward.
This exists, somewhat unfortunately.
Dude, at least give her a hand: https://www.amazon.com/Folding-Helping-Long-Reach-Pick-Up-Gripper/dp/B0002VUQPG
Seriously though, having her bend down all the time to pick up trash will kill her waist when shes older, plus if you get two you guys can play fight as you pick up trash together.
I need some cuticle advice. My cuticle are a hot mess. I only get professional manis done every few months & they look 1000x better despite doing all the things I've been told not to do (push back, cut with metal, etc.)... when I try that, they look worse.
Would the SH cuticle remover help? Any other recommendations?
For reference, I wash my hands A LOT. I moisturize after most of the washing, oil them every 2-3 nights & use sunscreen on my hands quite often.
It doesn't get soft at all, it gets more focused so you can shoot it further out. Birds at 300ft, architecture from way back and such. I think it would actually be bad for portraits because you could damage your subjects eyes. I got myself with a speedlight at close range once and it hurt, having a Fresnel lens on it could have done permanent damage.
And that's all this is, a fresnel lens and some plastic arms to hold it in front of the flash, if anyone wants to make one. You can find the lenses at the dollar store too.
