Any Xbox compatible 3.5mm Jack headset can be used with the official Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. They are about £16 ($20?) on Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Xbox-Stereo-Headset-Adapter/dp/B00I41H7US/). This plugs into the rectangular port on the bottom of the controller, and gives you mute, chat / game balance, and volume up / down buttons. It's very simple to use, and gives you full control over the volume balance for game and chat.
You can also get aftermarket pads from PDP, which have a 3.5mm socket for any Xbox compatible headset with a 3.5mm Jack, and they have a special dedicated button by the right thumb stick, which when double tapped, mutes the mic, and when held down, turns the D-Pad into a volume up / down and chat / game balance control.
This is what I use, and it is so easy to adjust game and chat volume on the fly, I'm actually surprised MS don't do something similar - it's such an intuitive way of doing it. One thing though, is that I don't know whether PDP do a wireless pad with this feature, (I'd have to google it) as the ones I've seen on Amazon are wired (as is mine). They are only about £35 / $40 or less though, and the cable means the controller is light, and never runs out of battery! :D
Edit - Had a look and can't find a wireless version, but this is the one I have, and I am very pleased with it, cable is nice and long, and fits securely. It feels a bit different to a regular controller, some things better, some things worse. The home button is much easier to use, but the triggers are flatter. Why does linus act like PC gamers can't game causally?
its really easy for any one interested:
using tools like;
PCpartpicker, logical Increments,/r/buildapc,/r/buildapcsales if you need help building consult; Carey Holzman,NZXT's guide or /r/buildapc
Either; Windows 7/8.1 or linux/Steam OS or for advanced users hackintosh with OSX or Windows 10 preview.
for a smooth console like UI use big picture mode in steam or Steam OS for Linux
The keyboard/mouse,Xbox one and Xbox 360 all have native support for advance user the PS4/PS3 controllers will need rebinding software.
bonus Find some Roms and boot up an emulator to play all the classics' of your childhood

For those interested, here's how you do it:

And here: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Xbox+One+Wireless+Controller+Thumbstick+Replacement/36840 (there's a guide on there for the dpad too)
Super easy 20 minute upgrade. Your sticks will feel better than before since these are metal and rubber. And they are held in with magnets allowing you to switch the stick height on the fly. The kit comes with 2 dpads, so you can choose which one you want.
Here's a bonus quick mod:
Quickshot grips. They come with a trigger lock, which makes the travel length for the triggers shorter. Super cheap and easy to install.

Besides being more comfortable, the XB1's dpad is significantly better. For example, I couldn't wall jump in Super Metroid with the 360 controller, and was only able to get past that part when I got an XB1 controller.
On the other hand, I completed Dark Souls with the 360 controller and it was a great experience. So I would get this $25 360 pad if you're on a budget, otherwise for greater comfort and usable dpad, I'd prefer the $73 Xbox 1 controller.
have you thought of just modding a regular controller?

https://www.amazon.com/Bionik-Quickshot-for-Xbox-One/dp/B01N1QO0TS/
i tried the elite controller but just wasn't a fan of how all the parts could come off, so i stick to a regular controller since they're way easier to replace and i love the bluetooth functionality. i use the x1 controller with the snes classic and emulators on my android devices and it works wonderfully.
i could understand if you got too used to the paddles though. i would have loved those when i was really into online fps a while ago.
If you're looking for cheap but good go for Power A. This is one of the few brands that can survive my kids. They usually have pretty good button feel for a cheaper alternative as well.
https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Enhanced-Wired-Controller-Xbox-One/dp/B07DHY6YLM/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=xbox+one+powera+controller&qid=1556031714&s=gateway&sr=8-3
Personally I use a micro USB cable with the standard Microsoft controllers. They are more expensive but they last longer and typical repairs (new thumbsticks and sensors) are actually cheap and easy to do.
You made me check around Amazon :P.
Very Interesting. Infact, you can get this Xbox One Controller + Cable for $37, though it seems to be the Old version. You can also get this Xbox One "Wireless" Controller for $46. The difference?
> - Now features a 3.5 millimeter stereo headset jack that lets you plug your favorite gaming headset right into the controller.
> - Now the controller can be updated wirelessly instead of needing to connect a USB cable.
> - Contents: Wireless Controller and AA Batteries (2)
So if you care about those things it will cost you $9 more :P. Though, some of the reviewers also say the Bumpers are better, they look exactly the same in the photo, though I think it's actually a render and not a photo, so maybe they are better? I actually have this controller in specific though I'm pretty sure it's the same as the old version as it doesn't have the 3.5mm port. I don't have any complaints with the bumpers, and after many months of frequent use they show no signs of wear (which some reviewers seem to complain about with the old version).
AFAIK there may be some around but suspect they're not as easy/efficient. Seriously I know you say you don't want a cradle charge dock but they are awesome. I have this Venom one and truly love it, okay you get a battery pack to put into the controller and a different door with two metal touch plates but you place the cradle on the charger dock when not in use and it charges it up, it never runs out of battery ever and I do 10-12 hour gaming sessions and you don't need to plug anything in to charge it, the dock system you plug into the mains via USB charger cable and just place controllers onto the dock when you've finished gaming.

I don't know about Playstation controllers, but I use a 3rd party Xbox 360 controller that works well:
https://www.amazon.com/Afterglow-AX-1-Controller-Xbox-360-Blue/dp/B003ITY98O
If you prefer the feel of the Xbox one controller, they make it as well:
https://www.amazon.com/PDP-Afterglow-Prismatic-Wired-Controller-Xbox/dp/B00ZJRHSRW/ref=sr_1_1?srs=3038123011&ie=UTF8&qid=1483457064&sr=8-1&keywords=afterglow+controller+xbox+one
I personally like the Afterglow controllers because they're well built, proportioned correctly, and feel good in the hands. Also, the annoying glow effect can be disabled...there's a button on the back side that changes modes from on constantly, flashing /w rumble, or off completely.
I bought a PowerA controller and while I like the ergonomics of it, the construction quality isn't the greatest. The A button started to stick after a short time and one of the bumpers started to misfunction. I had a super hard time getting it replaced through their customer service and eventually had to bitch at their twitter account to get a replacement one. Then the A button started to jam quickly on that one too. I was able to open it up and do some work and fix it, but that obviously isn't ideal.
I'd suggest just getting a new controller if you still have the option to at best buy until they improve their quality standards.
If you are looking for a decent cheap controller, I've heard good things about this one.

Although I don't personally own it.
Yea it's a very common thread there, and you can't blame people, you'd expect better from a $150 controller than some flimsy parts and a 90 day warranty. Seems like people either love it or get a crappy one. It's what's kept me from getting one even though some of my friends rave about it
Also check Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ZDNNRB8/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8
It has like 20% 1 star reviews, seems like meh build quality and/or qc
It is unfortunate that so many games now have such complex controls that it invariably ends up less accessible to people like us with mobility based disabilities.
One thing I would recommend, though it won't help with the games you've listed here as they're PS4 (or at least console) exclusives. Consider moving to PC gaming. I personally prefer console gaming, with PS4 being my system of choice, but the ability to change key-binding with PC makes it much more accessible. I'd also highly recommend this controller.

The added flexibility this controller gives should improve your gameplay experiences.
I originally had purchased an Elite Controller and had the same headache with hardware malfunctions and the nightmare that was dealing with Microsofts customer support and so called "warranty".
I wasn't as persistent as you are with your claim so they pretty much told me tough luck and that I would ultimately have to pay for repair or a new controller entirely.
That's when I had enough and started doing research on alternative "pro" style controllers.
Ended up going with a Razer Wildcat. Now this controller is not perfect, I experienced my share of hardware issues on this controller as well. The difference was the customer support was easy to communicate with and they support a 1 year warranty that covers "normal wear and tear". They ask you to walk through some trouble shooting steps but after that is done they send you a free shipping label to send the broken controller in which gets replaced with a brand new controller that arrives within a week or 2.
If you are fed up with the issues that come with the Elite controller, I would honestly recommend this one.

If you can afford the exorbitant price of $150, the Xbox Elite Controller is downright amazing. It feels great, you can map any button to any other button, you can switch out dpads and thumbsticks, and it has a nice weight to it. comes with a really long USB cable too, and it works with the Xbox One Wireless Adapter if I'm not mistaken. I don't have this product but the 360 version of the Nyko charging dock was excellent. Good reviews on amazon so far Nyko Modular Power Station - Xbox One by Nyko http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L2FGR7W/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_GmbYub0BZN7T0
Have you owned the Afterglow Controller? I'd be curious how they compare. I just bought this controller and it's so much better than the original xbox one controller. The build quality is amazing, the buttons, bumpers, and triggers all feel far superior to me.
This one is considerably smaller than the standard xbone controller and works amazing. Best 3rd party controller i ever bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01J36HGC6/ref=zg_bs_6469279011_16?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=4T7FJPHKTKR4TE4FP6JX
I use this one from PowerA.
Quality wise I am satisfied. Sure it doesn't feel quite as good as an official one but it is fine. The sticks feel good. The triggers do have a cheap feel, for the price I don't notice.
Compatibility will be a hit or miss I think. Mostly it just works and is recognized as an Xbox pad. Steam works. It is all about the device IDs. If you can find a way to edit the reported USB device ID to the offical pad it would function exactly the same way.
I don't know about with emulators. I have had just one game not recognize the controller and that is Dirt Rally. The fix is to add my pads ID to the
inputconfiguration.json
in the game files. Surely other games would have this issue but not many. The problem with the 360 d-pad wasn't that it was a disc shape, but the well it sat in wasn't large or deep enough, so you would hit the edges of its housing without making contact with the switch below the d-pad. Effectively making you lose inputs.
The Xbox One pad is much better, as it doesn't have this design flaw. You'll probably want to try and get the newer Xbox One S pads though, as they seem to have improved the quality.
I'm in exactly the same position as you, and as I don't right now have the money to spend on a scuff or a cinch, I've actually just picked up one of these
https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Enhanced-Wired-Controller-Xbox-One/dp/B07DHY6YLM/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1537582843&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=enhanced+xbox+controller&dpPl=1&dpID=41Bnmj45hGL&ref=plSrch
I haven't really had a chance to try it yet but I can let you know how it goes if you like, I really bought it so I could try out the extra buttons before spending big on one of the big brands. It does feel kind of cheap to be honest and I don't think it will be a main controller for anyone who plays a lot ... but just to try out the extra buttons it should be ok............ I think!
i got this in white. . . one for both of our model 3's. both work great! bad reviews are from the 1st gen of the controller. 2nd gen apparently doesn't have any problems and it's made by amazon so apparently they back it well if it does break. so far it's been great!

What a deal
Edit: but in all honesty the title on the Dell page is "Dell - Hard drive - 36 GB - hot-swap - 3.5-inch - SAS - 15000 rpm - for Dell PowerEdge 2950 (3.5-inch)" which this is not a HDD unless the controller has some flash storage or huge updates.
Edit#2: Well Amazon has a decent amount of 1 star reviews which may steer people away from these controllers.

No way on earth you're reading all of that, so I hid three Gandalf's within the url links, gl finding em
Yeah, I'm completely sure. I liked the original Fat Xbox controller.
In fact I just discovered that this thing exists and I might buy one. https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Duke-Wired-Controller-Windows-Black/dp/B079ZPCCLM
Here's a cheaper alternative but I would say yes if the price doesn't go above $140. Also, Xbox Elite Controllers are the same thing basically with better paddles. http://www.amazon.com/Collective-Minds-XBOX-ONE-Strike-Pack/dp/B01720MZJO/ref=sr_1_6/186-8082418-4017529?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1463971487&sr=1-6&keywords=xbox+elite+controller
http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Elite-Wireless-Controller/dp/B00ZDNNRB8/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1463971836&sr=1-1&keywords=xbox+elite+controller
I have a wired 360 pad (but /u/Vulfilla posted a link to the wireless one) and I can say that I am very happy with the ergonomics, I have an old one with both sticks on the bottom, like the Logitech, and I feel that the 360 layout of having one stick at the top is much more comforable.
You might consider an Xbox One Controller, which people describe as being even more ergonomic, or a PS4 Controller.
The Nyko Modular Charge Station is my favorite: http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Modular-Power-Station-Xbox-One/dp/B00L2FGR7W/ref=sr_1_4?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1419874325&sr=1-4&keywords=nyko+charge+station+xbox+one
But I recommend going with the rechargeable Eneloop AA's as already mentioned. The Eneloop batteries will last 3x longer than either the energizer or nyko batteries, you can use them as regular AA's for things other than an Xbox one controller, you never have to put your controller on a docking station - just keep a pair of AA's charging and swap them out when you need to.
Pretty sure this is the exact 9or very similar model) https://www.amazon.com/PDP-Afterglow-Prismatic-Wired-Controller-Xbox/dp/B00ZJRHSRW
Price: $20 shipped sound good?

Man, I was super stoked to hear about a controller that had mechanical switches for its buttons, but the reviews on Amazon indicate poor build quality/quality control with a high rate of dead/stuck bumpers/joysticks/triggers/etc, and controllers breaking after only a few days or weeks of use. Thanks a ton for the recommendation though, I am definitely adding this one to my list of controllers to look out for. But for now, I continue on my quest to find something better...
I'm not quite sure about the size difference between this and the Microsoft one but it seems smaller to me. If not, there's a mini version of PowerA. Hope it helps. https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=xbox+one+wired+controller&qid=1559118258&s=gateway&sprefix=xbox+one+wired+&sr=8-3
no worries fam just grab one of these and you can play with one hand. you can remap any button fuction anywhere and there are 4 paddles on the back (two on the right) so the only issue might be using the left stick for looking but no one does that anyways. Also chat might be difficult but hey thats what rehab is for.

edit: oh yeah left is for steering but you can use your hand or thumb if its strong enough
Looks like this one should match the Go pretty well.
Do you have an xbox one remote? Plugging that straight into the computer will work.
If not here are some links to amazon pages, They are actually pretty cheap.
https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Enhanced-Wired-Controller-Xbox-One/dp/B07DHY6YLM/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=wired%2Bcontroller&qid=1563366454&s=gateway&sr=8-3&th=1

Have you read all of the reviews on amazon? Is the 90 day warranty true? $150 is a little steep when you consider that the Xbox 1 is selling for under 200 used with a controller. I'd guess the price drops later this year, and definitely next.
https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Elite-Wireless-Controller/product-reviews/B00ZDNNRB8/ref=cm_cr_dp_qt_hist_one?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&showViewpoints=0
Use an Xbox One Elite Controller.
Got one when they released, just feels right now. It doesn't actually help at all with CS:GO, I only use two paddles, one is assigned to push to talk, and the other to inspect, which is why I'm inspecting all the time. I just always have my finger on the paddle.
https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Elite-Wireless-Controller/dp/B00ZDNNRB8/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1524657847&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=xbox+elite+controlller
Really overpriced, but again, I just like how to feels. It's extra weighty, and the leather grips feel nice.
Xbox One controllers made by Microsoft all work as both wired and wireless controllers.
My guess is that the $20 one you saw is a third party one, like this one made by PowerA which looks almost identical to a Microsoft one: -
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Enhanced-Wired-Controller-Xbox-One/dp/B07DHY6YLM/
All third party controllers are wired only, as MS doesn't allow companies to license the Xbox Wireless technology when it comes to controllers.
If you're on Xbox get the Xbox One Elite, not a SCUF. It comes stock with all the customization options that would cost you over $200 to upgrade to with a SCUF.
Unless you value cosmetic customization more, then SCUFs are great.
Had this for a year. The quality is superb and the shoulders still click like day one to this day, and I'm pretty heavy on how I use it because I play Devil May Cry 4 religiously. Highly recommend it bud.

AmazonBasics Xbox One Wired Controller - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_wT-UCbGBDB3VR
This should fit your needs perfect for your price range.
Amazon Basics have a wired controller if you have prime. I think it’s like $20 bucks? I’ll link it in a sec I’m on mobile. It looks like it has a unremovable cable unlike the PowerA branded ones I’ve seen.
EDIT:
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_23?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=M326JF6E6ZBX65N4WS2K&th=1
Nothing yet, but along with rumours that Treyarch is taking advantage of the new 3-year CoD developer cycle to help develop this game, the official controller has shown to include some familiar marks as seen on Black Ops games to indicate the existence of zombies
I think they’re just leftover stock-66 dollars new, 34-ish used.
Xbox One Wireless Controller - Titanfall Limited Edition https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HVPFGD8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZdISDb5PS10F4
Best of all-Scarlett will support all the xb1 controllers, so It’ll get used for years.
Is it still being manufactured? You can probably get close in the design lab, minus the sticks (the best part)
Edit: found on Amazon for $46.99, not bad
I was going to offer selling this controller, but I realized you'd be better off buying it on Amazon really.
https://www.amazon.com/POWER-Wired-Controller-Black-Xbox-One/dp/B01J36HGC6?th=1
Affectionately named the "Duke." They've recently been re-made by a 3rd party. https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-DUKE-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller/dp/B079ZPCCLM
I highly recommend this charging dock -

Great one, comes with two battery packs and charges fairly quickly, especially if you are only using one controller, can switch out whilst the other is charging.

If you're on Windows 7 or 8.1, you'll need separate drivers from MS to make it work, but it's well worth the price and effort.
I do prefer the real xbone controller, but this one: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ is the one I have 4 of for party games since its cheaper and seems to work fine.
Could use something like this, they're very popular:
https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Mini-Wired-Controller-Red/dp/B00SI1PJWC
Honestly the elite is overpriced in my opinion, go for an off brand one that does the same thing like scuf or Razer.

I got this one and it works great for all of the games, it even rumbles! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D12RPHX/
You can see the D-Pad pretty well in the product pictures: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Wireless-Controller/dp/B00CMQTUSS
I would expect a used one would cost at least $30-$40
Fun fact if you didn't know already, you can get a new one now. It isn't cheap, but it's available.
Edit: actually not a bad price on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Duke-Wired-Controller-Windows-Black/dp/B079ZPCCLM
Not sure why this hasn't been mentioned yet..
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Modular-Power-Station-Xbox-One/dp/B00L2FGR7W
It plugs into the Xbox one (extending the console), looks damn near factory, and each battery lasts a really good chunk of time. I love mine.
(What I mean by extending the console)
http://imgur.com/fknha20
this controller with the optional accessory is the best i have came across so far.
You might actually like this product. It's a 3rd party mini controller. Comes in red, blue, green, black, and 3 types of camo. https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Mini-Wired-Controller-Red/dp/B00SI1PJWC
Amazon Basics are decent too, not the cheapest but they are every bit as good as teh MS XBox ones and less money.

That’s the one I’ve been using. You can probably pick it up at a local Walmart or Best Buy if you don’t wanna order online.
I went for the cheapest one I could find on Amazon, which at the time was this Venom one. Works fine, batteries have never run out during use (longest session probably 8 hours), stand feels cheap but holds the controllers fine. I've since picked up the 360 version which also works fine (have both hooked up to a 6-port USB charger, but will also work hooked up to the console).
Try this... It worked great for my 5 yr old:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PHDC224/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1466352459&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=xbox+one+mini+controller&dpPl=1&dpID=31SxzIMktfL&ref=plSrch
Honestly I'm basic with controllers, idk if they still make them but I use a mini Xbox one controller.
Like this one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PHDC224/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_fx0hDbPXBM3QP
>plans on giving every citizen 800EUR per month for being a citizen.
That would be our lovely neighbours Finland, not us. Although from my own socialist perspective, it could only cause good if that law came into effect in Sweden, but that's a discussion for another time.
Also, the other controllers in sweden cost around 300-400SEK = 35-47 USD
EDIT: Found the controller on Amazon. Without Swedens high taxes, it's still way too expensive, imo.
I reccomend getting a Power A Mini Controller if you need a smaller controller. The Power A stuff is pretty durable and inexpensive also all of their wired controllers have break away cables.
I've been using a Power A Fusion Pro Controller for over a year. It's a wired "elite" style pro controller. I've got nerve issues with my right hand so I needed a controller with back buttons. I put a lot of extra abuse on the left half of the controller. It has held up really well even with being dropped and tossed on a regular basis. It is available for <$50 from other sellers.
"Whether it’s the Xbox One or the PC, The Razer Wildcat works across both platforms with ease. Yeah, its third party, not by Nintendo.
"PowerA" branded.
This Xbox controller is the exact same design.
https://www.amazon.com/POWER-Wired-Controller-Black-Xbox-One/dp/B01J36HGC6/ref=sr_1_8?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1504798779&sr=1-8&keywords=PowerA&th=1
This is what I bought for my kids when the standard controllers were too big for their hands.
PowerA Wired Mini Controllers For Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PHDC224/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dbRTBb4K5MA5Q
They’re playing with standard controllers now though at ages 7 and 3. She must have really small hands lol
There was an armed forces one in green digital camo that I thought looked extremely cool. Very subtle design. Not sure if it's out yet.
Edit: here it is. Hell..maybe I'll get one.
Xbox One Special Edition Armed Forces Wireless Controller by Microsoft http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3NSUIK/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_-Auqub1XSG30J
it's this kind of low level hardware, i wouldn't advise you to buy one as the buttons are too small and the gameplay impossible on this. You should take a wireless 8bitdo if you want a themed controller otherwise you can go with any kind of controller you want such as a Afterglow Prismatic Xbox One controller they often are in sale and look way better (it's not wireless thought).
Hope that helps
If you're not aware they recently brought it back
for the Xbox One and PC. If you're so inclined I'm sure you can even get an adapter for PlayStation as well.
Answering your question: PowerA makes a decent wired Xbox One controller. Amazon.co.uk link
Fixing the issue: Have you tried a different USB cable or port? There's a chance that the port you are plugging into cannot supply enough voltage to power the controller and operate the vibration motors simultaneously.
Additionally, you could just turn off the vibration and see if that helps.

I use this one, it's probably the most popular dock sold in the UK both this and the PS4 version.
Yeah it’s just a standard XB1 controller. I’m curious where he found it for $30 but maybe on sale it could be?

I was planning on wireless, but it looks like a company named PowerA makes officially licensed wired controllers
https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Wireless-Controller-Without-millimeter/dp/B00CMQTUSS
looks like amazon has them, just look for ones without 3.5mm jack for headset
man a week too late, i just opened a controller i bought back in 2015 that is one of these
Dang. Well, if I have to pony up for an official controller anyway, I may as well go big or go home.

The newer ones have a different design than the original Xbone controllers I think too, the originals had shiny plastic at the top above the Xbox logo, meanwhile the newer ones have the same type of plastic all long the body.
Here's the Amazon link to it.

Bonus content is an in-game "Supply Drop" which are usually earned for leveling up. They give you random cosmetics items and guns/attachments.
Here is a Razor wired controller that is similar to the elite, at only 83$ it’s actually really nice. https://www.amazon.com/Wildcat-eSports-Customizable-Premium-Controller-Programmable/dp/B0177G3QV4
The new xbox one s controllers are really nice.
I would say that these are your best bet. It's going to be tough to find an actual custom controller for that price.

4 left :)
The Afterglow controllers are some of my favorite I've ever used:

Flattered, but I just use a normal Xbox One controller:
https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Controller-Grey-Green-one/dp/B074FBKCMB
Also, didn't downvote you, was busy playing Cities: Skylines.
Yes. The Titanfall one is out of stock in most places now, but you can still find it here:
http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Xbox-One-Titanfall-Limited-Edition-Wireless-Controller/productID.295576100
The Call of Duty one will be sold seperately at most retailers, but is $5 cheaper at Amazon than everywhere else:
http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-One-Limited-Edition-Call-Duty/dp/B00MAQ02OG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1408250902&sr=8-2&keywords=cod+controller+xbox+one
My Favorites are the Xbox 360 controller and the Xbox One. Those two work with every game and the buttons show up correctly since both Windows and Xbox are made by Microsoft.
Amazon Price Matched it as well

I think it is just a rebrand of the Power A Xbox One controller. They look exactly the same. See here for the Power A: https://www.amazon.com/Wired-Controller-Xbox-One-Black/dp/B01J36HGC6/
From what I have read, for $25-30 it is a pretty good controller. Obviously won't be as good or solidly built as the official controller, but still decent enough.
There's a xbox one PowerA mini controller, currently unavaible on Amazon, but worth check if its available in other places.

This XBone controller is what I have and I think the color compliments the SB2.

The controller works normally on my PC, yes. Actually it turns out that it's not an Xbox 360 wired controller, it's an Xbox One wired controller, made by Amazonbasics.
My 4 yr old uses this and his small hands reach perfectly. Only drawback is it's wired but it's a decent length cable. Xbox One Mini Series Wired Controller (Xbox One), Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SI1PJWC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Xc2Czb05S8W09

Titanfall called...

I don't mind the ones in the OP. I would like another option that's similar to the new Halo Astros, i.e. military-style green and a little brown or bronze. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/FileLibrary/ProductResources/Images/120295-L-LO.jpg
It looks like a giant stapler if you look at the link you can imagine how connecting the stapler to the front usb would look like...
I don't own one so I can only speak from what I've read on the XB1 subreddit and reviews on sites like Amazon
xbone controller works fine with a pc. need to either:
or
You can get a wired Xbox controller for $25
The Logitech one is like $15.
You can then use it forever
You can get a combo of the controller with the play and charge kit, this the original model controller however.

Also, they sell one for PC specifically now, instead of having to buy the play'n'charge kit in addition. Its slightly cheaper.
Microsoft-Xbox-Controller-Cable-Windows is $52.00 on Amazon.
[Controller with Play and Charge] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CMQTUY2/) is $69.99 on Amazon. Both are slightly under retail but not much.
There's the elite controller for $149: https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Elite-Wireless-Controller-one/dp/B00ZDNNRB8
If you're running through controllers that often, I'd recommend just getting a standard controller with a warranty so that you could swap it out when it's no longer working.
I would also recommend just changing the way you're utilizing the controller. No official brand controller should be wearing down with however many hours you could possibly be playing in half a month. I'm probably one of the biggest grinders of HUT in the world and I don't even burn through controllers at that rate.
Secondo voi coso funziona col computer?
Non capisco perché solo quello nero ha "adattatore wireless per PC" o "compatibile con PC"
Have you tried this one:
Amazon - Mini Wired Controller
They are really well built, long cable, and small enough for a 6 year old.
Hands down the Titanfall controllerthat was released with at the time of the original Titanfall
The original "Duke" controller...

What is your budget? Razer has some very good xb1 controllers, the wildcat for example. They are expensive but have mechanical buttons and dpad. The wildcat is wireless and the new one (can't remember the name right now) is wired
Edit: got both of them right here

Not sure but I think it requires a wired USB controller. I got this one from amazon basics
Yes, but that wouldn't be included. I will be including just a regular controller.
I highly recommend this controller: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ZJRHSRW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Q9cYxb2D9MTF6
I got mine back in I think October from Argos and no problems. 3.5mm jack, volume and chat balance on the dpad, easy mute. I much prefer it to the official controllers.
Selling brand new in box Xbox one controller I have as a spare. Here's the link to product on Amazon. Asking 30

As of right now, the prices for controllers are staying the same. The Xbox One and PS4 controllers are both 59.96 USD on Amazon.
>Wired play on PC
>Wired or wireless play on Xbox One
No wireless receiver? Fuck that.
For what it's worth, Amazon is selling this "For Windows" pack for $5 less than just the controller.
If you're in Canada, Amazon has Microsoft Wireless controllers for $39.

Those are a ripoff version of the Bionik Quickshot Grips (I really like mine).
https://www.amazon.com/Bionik-Quickshot-for-Xbox-One/dp/B01N1QO0TS
The one you're linking to has no rubber in the grips, they are all ABS plastic.
..... you should pick up a RGB LED strip for behind your monitors, it looks too dark there. And you could really use a RGB underglow for your desk AND computer. Ohh, and your controller isn't RGB...
Ps. Thank me later ;)
Amazon is NOT sold out. Scroll down on http://amzn.com/B00ZDNNRB8 to where it says "71 new from $149.00 5 used from $184.99".
They are a bit more pricey, but they're there.
I do want that controller too. I seen it somewhere long time ago and I think it sells in custom case, not the whole controller.
Edit: http://www.amazon.com/PDP-Afterglow-Prismatic-Wired-Controller-Xbox/dp/B00ZJRHSRW
you dont need to swap the drive, you can use an external ssd if you really want. be warned, early tests showed very little benefit for a ssd compared to a quality 7200 rpm hdd.

Not wireless though.
I actually found that one of the biggest barriers for that age for gaming is the size of the controller. After some digging around, I found this controller which works for my kid. https://www.amazon.com/Wired-Mini-Controllers-Xbox-One-Green/dp/B00PHDC224
