1. When drinking delicious wine, there is always a good time when playing Mario Kart. My best birthday ever was my 17th. I'm a huge theater nerd and I was head over heels in love with Phantom of the Opera (still am really). I listened to it everyday, I watched the movie all the time, it was practically all I talked about for years. My mom is amazing and she bought the two of us a ticket to Vegas for the weekend so we could see Phantom there (it had just opened). I literally could not have been more excited, it felt surreal. I have never had a birthday/present better then that since.

A friend of mine was moving across the county to be closer to her girlfriend here in CA, so she had her boxes mailed to my place instead of the apartment. They aren’t gummies exactly but have more of a thick caramel texture, so watch out if you have any fillings. I hadn't thought of it as stimming either, but I DO THIS. It is NOT good. I've gained 20 pounds the last couple of years (well, 15, I lost 5 recently trying to nip it in the bud).

I hate chewing gum (also hated pacifiers as a baby, so it's weird I stim eat, but I definitely do), but if I get an ice cold water with a random fruit in it or unsweetened tea that really helps me have an alternate.

I also try to find other things to do when I want to be eating - usually it's a secondary activity to something else (working, driving, watching tv). I find singing works as an alternative in the car. I'm still working on the other two, but I did buy a mini elliptical that can be used either standing or sitting, which I'm hoping will provide an alternative for work and tv.

Things I use when I can't help it: Bamba (PEANUT BUTTER CHEATO THINGS. Come on. They melt if you suck on them or you can crunch them. They're cheap and you can eat 40 for 160 calories. They're Israeli but Trader Joe's sells their own version for 99 cents. There are elephants on the TJ-version package); blueberries (I'll finish a pint), fruits and veggies cut into little sticks to make them easy munch finger foods; and a new discovery that only works because it's super intense and weird: C. Howard Violet Mints. They taste like a bathtub. I love them in all their grossness.

I wonder if you could use REAL gum and not experience bloating... as I said, I don't like gum. But I like it when things are just absolutely bizarrely flavored (see above). Check out Falim gum. It's Turkish and made with tree sap, which makes me feel like I'm either chewing on a pine tree or some really weird nonboozy gin. It's super chewy, too. Some people in the Amazon reviews buy it as a jaw workout.

You got me at "slap so hard" so I'll try to help. I think these are the same thing (with probably updated packaging).

They're Brach's, which usually sell big "sampler bags" for Halloween (which include many of the candies in this post + like Smarties and Bit-O-Honey and stuff, I think?) but I think you also might have a shot at finding them in a candy bulk section (which is probably where the old ladies got them).

Edit: This might be more what you're looking for. The packaging matches better and I guess it's "Columbina" brand, which matches one of the OPs candies. I feel like I've still seen them bulk, but now I'm not familiar with the brand.

I was put on Paxil for IBS-D and left on it for over a decade. When it was time for me to come off I suffered withdrawal, including nausea, that left me unable to eat and bed bound. i think you're just taking too much and possibly too often, just take like half of what you've been taking and only dose like twice a day. Kratom has a sort of plateau effect where you feel good up to a point, but taking more after that will just cause the alkaloids to build up in your body and basically cancel out the good effects

BTW i get stomach pains sometimes too, just make sure you're drinking enough water, and i've also found that those ginger chew candies help settle the stomach amazingly

I do 100% soylent during the week and will usually have a couple solid food meals on the weekend. I chew this gum when I'm at work. It's stiff and gives me a good jaw workout. Sugar free and basically flavorless so I don't hurt my teeth or get cravings for any other food.

ChocZero are pretty good and 1 net carb per serving, maybe try these out.

At the end of the day it's up to your body. Some people 50 is fine, some 25 is the only way to fly. Gotta get some Ketone test strips and see how you're doing.

Overall I've found my carb "optional" consumption boils down to two major categories:

#1 - Laziness and old habits. I'm used to a bread based sandwich, so what should I go to replace the bread? Or I'm used to X in my Y. Most of these I just needed to research for alternatives along with time to mentally adjust.

#2 - Craving for sweets/snacks. Especially the first few days when going through the indoctrination of keto flu - I really want carbs/sugar. For that I've gotten ChocZero (because I really like chocolate). I break up each piece in to 4 small pieces and savor the heck out of them. After being on Keto for a time, sometimes I want one for that classic "I need dessert" feeling, but rarely do I have more than 1 every few days. Snack... much the same concept. Desire that crunch? Find something to replace it. For me it was Pork Rinds (aka chicharrones) - sometimes with a little guac for dip.

But always always measure. If you're not 100% used to the diet, measure/weight everything.

Clarkport Pantry on Sheffield used to have a shelf of nothing but British candy but they closed. I was super pissed when I went to see my friend who lives over there and it was boarded up.

However, I've found that non-perishable food stuff can easily be fulfilled by Amazon. Bought a metric fuck ton of flake and penguins on there a year ago. Still working my way through them.

Any unflavored mastic gum like this one is probably best because there's no added sugar or mint, and it will maintain its consistency almost indefinitely.

These little bastards fueled my high school years. The secretary would actually keep a stockpile of these in her desk specifically for me in the event that my blood sugars dropped low and I didn't have anything on me to eat. I had these all through my childhood, but they were most prevalent during those high school years. I graduated in 2005, and haven't had a single one since then. Frowny-face. I like b-fresh, and, while not for everyone, I also enjoy this stuff. It's basically pure mastic, no sweeteners or extra flavors. Nice if you just want to chew on something but don't want spearmint flavor or something kicking around in your mouth all day.

I saw these Albanese gummy bears in a TJ Maxx once and picked them up for a family member who likes them a lot. Anecdotally, it hasn't really tarnished the brand in my eye or my family members. Not sure what the real affect was.

Try this turkish chewing gum. It has no sweeteners whatsoever, and actually contains mastic, which is fantastic for your gut and tooth health. Also this particular pack has lasted me over a year (but I don't chew gum nearly as often as you seem to).

Turkish falim gum. It’s relatively cheap on amazon, but the gum itself is much harder to chew than the regular gum we’re used to. It will really develop your jaw musculature if you chew often. This will make the effects of your mewing even more noticeable.
