So, this is a weird one, but if you have the room/if you're outdoors, this is the funnest thing in the world to play with! Get one can for each of them and then let them spray it aaaaaall over a nice clear surface. Encourage them to make it all fluffy and then draw their favorite things with their fingers in the foam. You'll be the coolest aunt ever, guaranteed. It worked like a charm when I babysat.

You can't go wrong with Pokeballs, and these ones are soft, so they're great for games of catch with lil' kiddos. Pseaking of Pokemon, this is a nice little pack of stickers and pencils, just silly little favors you can add in both baskets. There's also a really cheap and cute book on how to draw Pokemon that could be fun to do together!

I moved in with my boyfriend in March, and he was super embarrassed about farting and pooping. He would shut the door, turn on the fan, then turn on BOTH the shower and sink. It was hilarious.

One time both of us were really drunk at home and he accidentally let out one of the most powerful farts ever. I mean it vibrated the whole couch. I was crying from laughing so hard but he's like "oh come on, it was an accident." Fast forward and now he farts pretty much every chance he gets because I always laugh.

Also, I bought a poop sign on Amazon. Now every time he poops he's like "gotta put out my poop sign!" He obviously still shuts the door and turns on the fan, but no more of that sink and shower ridiculousness.

I posted a similar question on here for a gift for my boyfriend, and I got a lot of great responses so I decided to make a "panic box" for him with lots of different ideas.

He is big on scents for soothing, so I got him a relaxation blend and frankincense essential oils, as well as his favorite incense.

He is also very responsive to tea, so I got him this pregnancy tea. I know that seems weird, but it was one of the few on Amazon that had chamomile and oatstraw. Although I didn't really expect them to work, I also got him stress mints, calm drops, and moon drops in hopes that having something to suck on might calm him down if some minor anxiety pops up.

As for books, after reviewing this thread here, I got him this anxiety memoir since he seems to benefit from reading other people's stories (shout out to this subreddit! Thanks guys!), as well as this workbook.

Finally, I got him a panic pete to give him something to hold and squeeze when he was anxious. Out of all the things I got him, he loved panic pete the best!

As a final, personal touch, I printed out this article which he loved reading when he is anxious, and included some of the calming mantras I found here.

Yeah, I can see that if they're hand made/painted. But if they can get them printed like these then they should cost considerably less.

You can definitely get gel stress balls, and also solid rubber ones. My favorite ones are those that are filled with sand or beads with a thick rubber coating over them. I just love how they feel.

The trick is to put 'therapeutic' in your search terms. It will tend to spit out more of the physical-therapy type ones and less of the cheapo foam ones.

Yep, expect plenty of snipe hunts, and if you really want to set yourself apart, plan for them.

If they send you on a parts run to get a bottle of blinker fluid, tell 'em your car uses that and have one in your car. Muffler bearings? Yep, those are actually a real thing - they're used in exhaust cutouts and a few performance cars with variable muffler airflow routing use them as well - but a suitable substitute for derailing that snipe hunt would be a pair of bearings from inline skates or skateboards. Relative bearing grease is harder to plan for, so be imaginative. (A tube of grease with a compass glued onto it was the best idea I've seen.)
