I love the paint job! The creative, think outside of the case, style is awesome; it’s nice to see something besides rgb here honestly.
Anyways you’ve certainly put doing something like it on the forefront of my mind once I get all the parts together for my first build. Although since I’m not that skilled of a painter, I might just stick with a bit more abstract design lol
P.S. They make a wireless USB adapter for using an Xbox One controller w/ a PC
I have these. Love, love, love, love, love them:
http://www.amazon.com/ASTRO-Gaming-A40-System-Bundle-Xbox/dp/B00O9N404Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449767260&sr=8-1&keywords=a40s
I haven't been on Windows 7 in a while, but they never originally supported the Xbox One controller without the Wireless Adapter......do you have the Wireless Adapter?-- Because if you have that you will get the best support on Windows 7. I think eventually Windows 7 did end up getting a update to support the Xbox One controller that would download if you have auto-updates enabled....you can try this or just get the Wireless Adapter which is easy to setup:
When you connect an Xbox Wireless Controller to your Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 PC with a micro-USB cable, Windows will automatically download and install the drivers for the controller. If Windows is not set to automatically download device software, you can check for updates through Device Manager.
Update drivers through Device Manager
Here’s how to check for updates manually in the Device Manager:
Note Windows may ask you for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.
Is there a compatible clamp allowing me to connect my switch (tablet mode) and my pro controller together physically such as this but can fit a switch? I love tablet mode, but I love the pro conrtroller and the kickstand sucks, so I would be extremely happy if someone knew of one of these.
I've got a few chat specific headsets from Turtle beach that I like.
One
Two
The first one I just got and haven't used, but I picked it up because a friend said it was great. It's got a cutout for glasses, if that's an issue for you.
The second one is the one I've been using for ~2 years. it's great, but it's starting to get janky. my xbox isn't recognizing a headset is connected all of the time. could be my xbox though.
Those are just the chat headsets, I've got a 5.1 surround sound system that I use for game audio.
You made me check around Amazon :P.
Very Interesting. Infact, you can get this Xbox One Controller + Cable for $37, though it seems to be the Old version. You can also get this Xbox One "Wireless" Controller for $46. The difference?
> - Now features a 3.5 millimeter stereo headset jack that lets you plug your favorite gaming headset right into the controller.
> - Now the controller can be updated wirelessly instead of needing to connect a USB cable.
> - Contents: Wireless Controller and AA Batteries (2)
So if you care about those things it will cost you $9 more :P. Though, some of the reviewers also say the Bumpers are better, they look exactly the same in the photo, though I think it's actually a render and not a photo, so maybe they are better? I actually have this controller in specific though I'm pretty sure it's the same as the old version as it doesn't have the 3.5mm port. I don't have any complaints with the bumpers, and after many months of frequent use they show no signs of wear (which some reviewers seem to complain about with the old version).
I guess it depends on what stick type you use for the Elite. My suggestion would be to use the default length sticks with the CQCX. It's a convex version of their CQC stick. They don't sell it on their website anymore but hey Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MMN7W9A?keywords=Cqc%20ultra%20x&qid=1453999487&ref_=sr_1_fkmr1_2&sr=8-2-fkmr1
Another thing you could do is try the longer stick with the Alpha. It's a slight concave but the shortest length you can get from them. It also has a wider surface thumb area.
http://www.amazon.com/KontrolFreek-ALPHA-ONE-Alpha-Xbox/dp/B00O4FQC9K/ref=pd_sim_147_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=51GsiLLQ0cL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=08BYGDEGKS3VA0GSSJRP
I've tried both and I've defaulted to the longer stick that came with the elite. All in all once you use something for so long you just get used to it. Just like the first guy said. These are good for raising your sensitivity without losing a huge amount of accuracy.
Either way good luck
I got this Seagate 8tb drive last black Friday for around $120 and it works great with my Xbox.
Also the Astros a50s are awesome. My wife bought me the Master Chief Editionwhen we first started dating 3 years ago and they still work great.
Astro A10sare also awesome. She wanted a pair of Astros last year as she plays with me but on a smaller TV. The a10s only require a wire going from the headset to the controller and they work great.
Edit-links
If your warranty is expired and the issue is only a broken bumper, I implore you to fix it yourself.
I literally just fixed mine and it took 15 minutes after I had the parts and tools.
Yes, taking it apart voids any warranty, but it's REALLY easy to fix.
Buy this (https://www.amazon.com/XBOX-ONE-Controller-Opening-Kit-Screwdriver/dp/B00PG8SU26) to take apart your controller.
Buy this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9KT03G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_9Y8Oyb18NY9R1)
Watch this (https://youtu.be/MR6TuCnV0k8) for a walk through.
Trust me, it's really really easy and it saves you from buying a new controller.
This just came out, mine should be in the mail when I get home today:https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/powera-moga-mobile-gaming-clip-for-xbox/8rtf503l2pl9?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab
In the meantime, I've been using this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07M91JJCB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which is essentially the same one that /u/Crraigan has linked to. It's okay, but I'm hoping the new MOGA one will have better viewing angles and be a bit more comfortable to hold (the weight is awkwardly distributed once your phone is in it with this one - very top heavy).
I'd recommend the HyperX Cloud Cores instead for closed-backs. Same headphones, just without all the accessories, and for quite a bit less. You shouldn't be using the USB sound card anyways for audio quality, and you can spend some of the money you save on pads even better than the stock ones on the Cloud II's if you end up needing them.
Would still recommend something with a larger soundstage like Sennheiser HD558's if you're just looking to game; the positional audio advantage is actually tangible in many instances.
I originally had purchased an Elite Controller and had the same headache with hardware malfunctions and the nightmare that was dealing with Microsofts customer support and so called "warranty".
I wasn't as persistent as you are with your claim so they pretty much told me tough luck and that I would ultimately have to pay for repair or a new controller entirely.
That's when I had enough and started doing research on alternative "pro" style controllers.
Ended up going with a Razer Wildcat. Now this controller is not perfect, I experienced my share of hardware issues on this controller as well. The difference was the customer support was easy to communicate with and they support a 1 year warranty that covers "normal wear and tear". They ask you to walk through some trouble shooting steps but after that is done they send you a free shipping label to send the broken controller in which gets replaced with a brand new controller that arrives within a week or 2.
If you are fed up with the issues that come with the Elite controller, I would honestly recommend this one.
Here is a link for anyone interested
Haha thanks! Didn't even realize, and yep there is! The original giant Xbox logo is now an OLED screen that plays the original xbox startup animation when you press it.
https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Duke-Wired-Controller-Windows-Black/dp/B079ZPCCLM
Afterglow LVL 1 Chat Communicator, certainly not the best but for the value it's pretty solid. I've had mine for almost a year most impressive and it still works very well.
Personally I don’t think they are too tall but that’s my preference . It took a little getting used to for me but now they feel much better than stock . They do make one that is about half the height but I like the tall one better .Mid rise : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LMHX16K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_B9j2Db3SEK9A0
Regular : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HUWANOO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_K-j2Db00DVQAF
I've used a Steelseries Nimbus on iOS and it works well. My only gripe is how Apple MFi certified controllers are not allowed to have the thumb stick buttons. This messes with sprint controls for me.
Android should be OK with most bluetooth controllers. The only issues I've run into is with some oddball controllers from overseas with incompatible button mappings.
The only other recommendation I'd make is to try and get a controller that has a built in clip for your phone like this one (note, this controller is just an example, I'm not recommending it), or that a clip like this can support.
The clip in the second link is what I'm using with a Nimbus and an iPhone 6s in a slim Otterbox case.
There's the MS stereo headset for £30: -
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Xbox-One-Stereo-Headset/dp/B00I41H6DQ/
I own one of those and for the money I think it's really good. It comes with the headset adapter that plugs into the bottom of your controller.
I've heard good things about this one, for the money, but I have no experience of using it: -
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach-Amplified-Headset/dp/B00KSVXSZU/
That one's a bit more expensive, but it comes with Turtle Beach's version of the headset adapter which has all of the features of the MS headset adapter as well as mic monitoring and adjustable bass boost.
This is the one I use now, although it's £170: -
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Astro-Gaming-3AS42-XOU9W-369-Headset-MixAmp/dp/B00O9N404Q
I really like it, although I would say it's a touch overpriced.
I put some Kontrol Freeks on the standard stick as well because I just like the overall feel better. What I recommend is to maybe buy the small kontrol Freeks they have and then put those on the taller sticks for a bit more height and better grip. Will link some of them.
FPS Freek CQC - Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LMHX16K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_N6FzwbAYDJJ2B
CQCX - Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MMN7W9A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_n7FzwbDTZB1NN
KontrolFreek Alpha - Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O4FQC9K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_i8FzwbM07CC3Z
The alphas don't really add height but they do add more surface to the grip similar to the 360 controller. Hope this helps.
I've tried several caps and those fit the best for me.
Edit: the Touch Protect used to be cheaper, US$4.99 a couple of years ago, but the customer service is good.
I haven't used thumbsticks but some of the reviews from these mentioned relieving left thumb pain : https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MMN7W9A/ Best of luck.
I use control freeks (standard ones with grip on top and the ones released when cod wwII came out) on a regular ps4 controller and I recommend only having one on your right stick. Its something you definitely should try and get comfortable with because I do believe it betters your aim from experience and others input. I know some come with a shorter and slightly taller stick always go higher.
Astro A10’s have worked great for me, they’re $60 and come in a couple colors. Great sound quality, microphone, and the initial investment isn’t as steep as some fancier headsets.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071S9R9YB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_KzSPAb54FYJAK
Yeah, I'm completely sure. I liked the original Fat Xbox controller.
In fact I just discovered that this thing exists and I might buy one. https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Duke-Wired-Controller-Windows-Black/dp/B079ZPCCLM
Go grab this headset. $8.25 on Amazon. You don't have to chat if you don't want but being able to when necessary is a huge game changer.
Then search Xbox LFG til you see something that strikes your fancy. Send a request to join. Say hi when invited to the party then you'll more than likely be invited to the game. I for one don't like playing with someone who doesn't have a mic. I don't mind if you stay quiet while we're goofing off but being able to say "exploder skelly behind you" is a real help.
I bought this one about two months ago, and still going strong. I prefer being able to keep one charged while I play the other. I play for about 3-4 hours a night and have to swap them about every 2-3 days, always having one on the ready.
Well I have a custom Dell Inspiron 15 that basically has stuff in it to run games pretty well, atleast the games I normally play.
I also have an Xbox One (which I tend to stream from more than my PC)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M
Intel Core i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz
7.88 GB Ram
And then I have this Turtle Beach Headset - https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Gaming-Headset-Playstation/dp/B00ZC3S818/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482631060&sr=8-1&keywords=Turtle+Beach+PC
I recommend using thumb grips, they make such a big difference. I use these they are pretty good for the price.
Hi, these are a few things you can do with the Xbox ONE:
With this you can tune TDT/DVB-T channels and control them with the Xbox instead of the TV
With this app you can use Airplay to mirror or send content from IOS and OSX as you would with an Apple TV
With this app you can use the XBOX to manage a long list of home automation devices. There are other more specific apps for home automation like Hue lights.
Besides these, the amount of UWP apps in the XBOX store is getting bigger and more uses apperar every day.
Regards,
Here is the toolset I used to fix my elite controller, it works great
Xbox controller opening kit
I bought the actual bumper replacement piece off eBay pretty cheap
Can't go wrong with turtle beaches.
I've owned 2 pair and never had issues with them, I don't own this pair below specifically but I'm sure they are just as good they are the new entry level set.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZC3S818/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_uVQDzbD2Y94JZ
Man, I was super stoked to hear about a controller that had mechanical switches for its buttons, but the reviews on Amazon indicate poor build quality/quality control with a high rate of dead/stuck bumpers/joysticks/triggers/etc, and controllers breaking after only a few days or weeks of use. Thanks a ton for the recommendation though, I am definitely adding this one to my list of controllers to look out for. But for now, I continue on my quest to find something better...
I'm not quite sure about the size difference between this and the Microsoft one but it seems smaller to me. If not, there's a mini version of PowerA. Hope it helps. https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=xbox+one+wired+controller&qid=1559118258&s=gateway&sprefix=xbox+one+wired+&sr=8-3
Ever try these? They're made for Xbox One sticks, but I'm sure they could fit the Vita, as videos about using Xbox One covers on the Vita were up. The ones I use can't be found anymore. I don't know what happened.
https://www.amazon.com/AceShot-Lizard-Silicone-Precision-Antislip-Controller/dp/B00JQMV3F4
In the end, there are still much cheaper options on eBay!
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2053587.m570.l1313.TR2.TRC1.A0.H0.Xps+vita+stick+covers.TRS0&_nkw=ps+vita+stick+covers&_sacat=0
Looks like this one should match the Go pretty well.
I have the cloud core, which only set me back 60 USD and the mic quality is great, and comes with accessories that make it easy to use them as listening devices only without looking like and obvious games headset.
Reference
I use these nyko batteries. http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Power-Kit-Plus-Xbox-One/dp/B00FLLFJOU
Comes with 2 batteries and a long charge cable. Bought at Walmart for $20.
I use a nyko plug and charge kit for 360 as well and both work great.
AmazonBasics Xbox One Wired Controller - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_wT-UCbGBDB3VR
This should fit your needs perfect for your price range.
With how loose the default stick is on the X1 controller I'd go with regular CQC and not the signature cqc. The concavity and dots provides the best grip instead of their logo being on it and it wearing down much easier. The dots give your fingers something to grip. If you are looking for a domed one then the CQC X.
Amazon Basics have a wired controller if you have prime. I think it’s like $20 bucks? I’ll link it in a sec I’m on mobile. It looks like it has a unremovable cable unlike the PowerA branded ones I’ve seen.
EDIT:
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_23?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=M326JF6E6ZBX65N4WS2K&th=1
Nothing yet, but along with rumours that Treyarch is taking advantage of the new 3-year CoD developer cycle to help develop this game, the official controller has shown to include some familiar marks as seen on Black Ops games to indicate the existence of zombies
If you are referring to the 3rd party Play and charge kits like this I am not familiar with any that come with different colored backs.
But if you get one like this or an official one like this You just use the same battery cover the controller comes with.
Heads up I believe only the official batteries charge using the controllers USB port. Both of those 3rd party controllers need to be charged separately, but don't hold me to that.
This tuner? If that one works I'm buying it right now, but otherwise I think I'm okay with waiting like an hour before things are online or finding a stream for sports.
Is it still being manufactured? You can probably get close in the design lab, minus the sticks (the best part)
Edit: found on Amazon for $46.99, not bad
Affectionately named the "Duke." They've recently been re-made by a 3rd party. https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-DUKE-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller/dp/B079ZPCCLM
If you have a Xbox one buy these rechargeable battery packs for you controller
You will save money on batteries and the battery life of a fully charged pack last about about 2 weeks with daily use. Plus you can charge while playing so no more annoying waits and quick dashes out to the shop to get more batteries. I’ve probably saved way more than £50 on batteries with rechargeable battery packs.
As for the headset the Astro A10 is a great headset.
It’s way worth it’s money as the sound quality and microphone is great not like the over sensitive microphone and shitty audio on cheap £20 headsets. It’s durable as fuck as well, mine has survived horrible abuse and it’s still in perfect condition and I’ve gone through about 5 cheap headsets including Xbox official ones. It’s comfy to wear too.
I do prefer the real xbone controller, but this one: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ is the one I have 4 of for party games since its cheaper and seems to work fine.
All Microsoft controllers are NOT bluetooth, this one included. If OP gets this exact controller and wishes to play wirelessly they'll need the special wireless adapter here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CJ6GVM8/
I think giftcards and maybe a headset like this: https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Gaming-Headset-Playstation/dp/B00ZC3S818/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464846871&sr=8-1&keywords=gaming+headset+xbox+one+and+pc
Its not the highest quality, but it can be used on whatever platform. Also throw in some Steam/Xbox/PlayStation gift cards. This opens up to more people that would actually use it.
not for $30, the best "headset" you can get on a budget is the Hyper X Cloud.
If you wnat an inexpensive mic to add to the monoprice, check out the Zalman Clip on Mic.
> HyperX Cloud Core
from looking at the pictures in the Amazon ad, it looks like this headset comes with a cable to convert the TRRS male plug into two TRS male plugs.
Are you using that cable?
please google TRS and TRRS for explanations
Honestly the elite is overpriced in my opinion, go for an off brand one that does the same thing like scuf or Razer.

We bought the PDP Afterglow one for my wife. Its nothing fancy but it does have a decently comfortable earpiece.
This one:
https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Afterglow-Chat-Headset-048-040-Black/dp/B00ZJEMQEA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1525372939&sr=8-2&keywords=afterglow%2Bchat%2Bheadset&th=1
Alright, I've read a few forum posts saying that PC headsets will do audio but sometimes have problems with the mic through the controller. I have a found a pair of Turtle Beaches (Yes, I know, they aren't that great) that are reasonably priced and have good reviews, (specifically these) so I'm considering those right now. Plus, they match my Darth Vader Special Edition Console.
Nyko charge base $21 I own this and it last me a really long time with heavy gaming.
Microsoft play and charge kit $24
Nyko play and charge: 2 batteries $15 1 battery $6
Fun fact if you didn't know already, you can get a new one now. It isn't cheap, but it's available.
Edit: actually not a bad price on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Duke-Wired-Controller-Windows-Black/dp/B079ZPCCLM
for a while there was one that was better looking. this is just your standard usb tuner stick for a pc that was slightly modified (if even that) for xbox one.
edit: found the one i was thinkign of https://www.amazon.com/Official-Xbox-One-Digital-Tuner/dp/B00E97HVJI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1484859476&sr=8-2&keywords=xbox+tv+tuner
edit 2: this may be the eu one, but there is/was a na one just like this.
This one is what I have. Love it. Never had any issues.
Amazon Basics are decent too, not the cheapest but they are every bit as good as teh MS XBox ones and less money.
https://smile.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1540651018&sr=8-16&keywords=amazon%2Bgame%2Bcontroller&th=1
Try this... It worked great for my 5 yr old:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PHDC224/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1466352459&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=xbox+one+mini+controller&dpPl=1&dpID=31SxzIMktfL&ref=plSrch
Honestly I'm basic with controllers, idk if they still make them but I use a mini Xbox one controller.
Like this one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PHDC224/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_fx0hDbPXBM3QP
>plans on giving every citizen 800EUR per month for being a citizen.
That would be our lovely neighbours Finland, not us. Although from my own socialist perspective, it could only cause good if that law came into effect in Sweden, but that's a discussion for another time.
Also, the other controllers in sweden cost around 300-400SEK = 35-47 USD
EDIT: Found the controller on Amazon. Without Swedens high taxes, it's still way too expensive, imo.
I reccomend getting a Power A Mini Controller if you need a smaller controller. The Power A stuff is pretty durable and inexpensive also all of their wired controllers have break away cables.
I've been using a Power A Fusion Pro Controller for over a year. It's a wired "elite" style pro controller. I've got nerve issues with my right hand so I needed a controller with back buttons. I put a lot of extra abuse on the left half of the controller. It has held up really well even with being dropped and tossed on a regular basis. It is available for <$50 from other sellers.
"Whether it’s the Xbox One or the PC, The Razer Wildcat works across both platforms with ease. This is what I bought for my kids when the standard controllers were too big for their hands.
PowerA Wired Mini Controllers For Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PHDC224/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dbRTBb4K5MA5Q
They’re playing with standard controllers now though at ages 7 and 3. She must have really small hands lol
PDP Afterglow LVL 1 Chat Communicator for Xbox One - LVL 1 Edition https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00ZJEMQEA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ql9kyb0PT3TB3
I've been using this for a week now. No complaints so far. It feels cheap though, but hey, 25$. Still comfortable after 3-4 hours. I don't regret it although we'll see how long it'll last.
If you're not aware they recently brought it back
for the Xbox One and PC. If you're so inclined I'm sure you can even get an adapter for PlayStation as well.
I got the nyko kit with a cable and 2 battery packs from Amazon when I got my Xbox one. Nyko Power Kit Plus - Xbox One https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FLLFJOU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_C8ZHwbHT4C5PE
It works great and I've had no issues with it.
If you're in the UK go for this. cheaper, freesat and free view and designed for full integration. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00E97HVJI/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1416754052&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165
For a $150 I suggest this headset and luckily it's $50 off. They're normally $200
Its the trigger spring, so the trigger doesn't reset after being depressed. And yeah I could probably fix it if i ordered one of xboxes proprietary screwdrivers to take the thing apart. But I had a spare DS4 laying around and found that I like it much better.
Yeah it’s just a standard XB1 controller. I’m curious where he found it for $30 but maybe on sale it could be?
Here’s the Amazon link
Xbox Wireless Controller - Grey/Green https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074FBKCMB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fhbiAbHXGSFHG
This is the same controller you're talking about that released with the S. The only complaint I have is the tiny thumb sticks, but I found some cheap grips here that make it a lot better.
Will this thing here work as well then?
https://www.amazon.de/Xbox-One-Digital-TV-Tuner/dp/B00E97HVJI
After all it's connected via USB as well.
I've been looking at headsets recently - there are a couple of mono headsets on Amazon.co.uk, both pretty similar, single sided padded ear cup, adjustable boom mic, inline volume and mute controls (not chat mixing though), and 3.5mm jack (so you need the xbone headset adapter or the new controller with 3.5mm jack).

Bonus content is an in-game "Supply Drop" which are usually earned for leveling up. They give you random cosmetics items and guns/attachments.
Here is a Razor wired controller that is similar to the elite, at only 83$ it’s actually really nice. https://www.amazon.com/Wildcat-eSports-Customizable-Premium-Controller-Programmable/dp/B0177G3QV4
I would say that these are your best bet. It's going to be tough to find an actual custom controller for that price.
When you move to Europe, you will have to use the other version of the tuner with DVB capabilities instead of Hauppauge tuner (the plug is different as well).
Edit: Here's what I'm talking about https://www.amazon.com/Official-Xbox-One-Digital-Tuner/dp/B00E97HVJI/
I used that one for my parents' XB1 in Vietnam and it worked like a charm with XB1 bought from US, while US XB1 tuner received no signal at all.
Flattered, but I just use a normal Xbox One controller:
https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Controller-Grey-Green-one/dp/B074FBKCMB
Also, didn't downvote you, was busy playing Cities: Skylines.
I got Astro A10s a couple months ago, really liking them.

Yes. The Titanfall one is out of stock in most places now, but you can still find it here:

The Call of Duty one will be sold seperately at most retailers, but is $5 cheaper at Amazon than everywhere else:

I use this Turtle Beach headset, it's been working good for me. Plugs into the controller. $40.
I bought the Hyper X Cloud Core. But the mic isn't working, whats up?
Windows does detect it. I checked in the recording section under sounds. Asus Realtek Auto Manager doesn't detect it either. I'm confused.
I bought these from Best Buy.
https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-Cloud-Headset-3-5MM/dp/B010D74WHG
Astro A10s
Really decent audio and if you get a Mixamp down the road theyll be even better.
*** Alien Isolation and seagate backup plus were purchased using best buy reward points. That's why they were cheap.
The original Xbox One controller does not support Bluetooth. It uses a custom radio and a Microsoft-only protocol.
Only the Xbox One S and Xbox One X controllers will work with Bluetooth.
You might be able to use this adapter. It supports the Microsoft-only protocol of the original controller, but I wouldn't count on it: https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Xbox-Wireless-Adapter-Windows-Packaging/dp/B07CJ6GVM8/
It's pretty much the same price on Amazon UK if you don't want to create another account....
The PowerA Mini Controller is what you are looking for.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00PHDC224/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought it for my 4 year old son. It fits his hands decently, and he likes the colour. My wife also prefers it too due to the small size.
EDIT Or perhaps this is what you meant by mini controller? Not sure. Works for my kid.
Not hard at all. Just make sure you get the Xbox Bluetooth controller...
https://smile.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Controller-Grey-Green-one/dp/B074FBKCMB?th=1

Yes. It came out for Europe before the US. It's a tuner for over-the-air TV, so if you use an antenna for your TV, it'll work with that. As mentioned, it allows you to set up a TV Guide, use voice commands to change channels, pause, and rewind live TV.
There's a xbox one PowerA mini controller, currently unavaible on Amazon, but worth check if its available in other places.
https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Wired-Mini-Controllers-Xbox-One/dp/B00PHDC224
This XBone controller is what I have and I think the color compliments the SB2.

The controller works normally on my PC, yes. Actually it turns out that it's not an Xbox 360 wired controller, it's an Xbox One wired controller, made by Amazonbasics.
Glad to be of help. By the way, I don't know if an analog stick is hard to grip, but just in case I've just found these.
Word. I actually super glue these:

Granted this is all Xbox One stuff on my side, but it might help you if you find the metal ones hurt too much. You said there was a link for the Switch joysticks somewhere in this post?
I woulda recommend to you the Xbox One Digital TV Tuner
Yep you are right. I was worried when I saw this post but I just checked the one I have and this one works, leaving the optical and hdmi output settings alone. https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Recon-Chat-Gaming-Headset/dp/B06WLGP8C3?th=1
I almost got the plantronics but I chose this one for the glasses cut-out, now I'm glad I did.

$39 and $39
But tbh you get what you pay for, the more you pay generally the better quality (but not always).
The original "Duke" controller...
https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Duke-Wired-Controller-Windows-Black/dp/B079ZPCCLM
Kingston HyperX Cloud. There are three models, Core, 1 and 2. As far as I'm aware the headset itself is pretty much the same with all three, just some extra goodies with the 1 and more so with the 2. They run from $60 to $90.
Funnily enough I was in your same spot. My 1st party headsets mic died out of nowhere, and I would always hear complaints that people couldn't hear me.

Nice fallacy, but communication is essential to this game and to many others, there is no excuse not to have something as important as your controller.
What is your budget? Razer has some very good xb1 controllers, the wildcat for example. They are expensive but have mechanical buttons and dpad. The wildcat is wireless and the new one (can't remember the name right now) is wired

I like the low domed ones in this set
FPS Freek. I Bought a pair when I played a lot of reach and GOW3. I only kept one on the right analog stick. At first I thought ok bullshit i just got hustled but after playing with it on for about a month playing with out it was very difficult it could be that I got used to it. I never noticed any improvements in the amount of headshots/shots on target but it the extra leverage gained makes aiming a smoother process.

It works both on Xbox one, PS4 and PC, MAC, Mobile. You should have double check the page before replying. I own a PS4 and used to have this very same headset before upgrading. Scroll down on amazon and you can see the entire information about compatibility.
If you are still not convinced, you could buy the cheaper version https://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach-Stereo-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00ZC3S818/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1491151548&sr=1-2&keywords=turtle+beach+recon+50p

I’ve used this particular package with no issues.

Nope, lately it has been the Astro A40 or A50

The bumpers
The tools
With tax and everything around 30.00 or so.
EDIT: Also, if you have one of the newer controllers with the headphone port you can salvage the bumpers from there, same exact part.

Not wireless though.
I actually found that one of the biggest barriers for that age for gaming is the size of the controller. After some digging around, I found this controller which works for my kid. https://www.amazon.com/Wired-Mini-Controllers-Xbox-One-Green/dp/B00PHDC224

I just ask because it looks the same and is made by Microsoft but is a tad cheaper.
Just need the xbox dongle and four of the newer style controllers.

I just bought this WIRED Xbox one controller for my pc. Link for reference. Is this controller compatible with the switch since it's USB wired or would I need to buy an adapter to use it?

I currently use this clip that attaches to the controller, and I don't see how this detachable controller would be better/easier to use than the clip.

If you have a PS4 Controller, there are ways to get it working through 3rd party programs such as DS4Windows. You can also get a fake XB controller and that I think would work, but don't count me on that. (https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Xbox-One-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B07CZTVHY8)

Cheaper, can still work for XBone and PC, but will feel a little more awkward in your hands.

AmazonBasics Xbox One Wired Controller
$24.99, works right out of the box as an Xbox controller that Windows recognizes, and I've never had a game not recognize it.
A total steal for the price, considering a wireless will set you back $60.
If you have money to burn, get the wireless Xbox One Elite controller. Has a lot more function and customization than the standard but the price tag to match.
Avoid most gaming headsets, they're usually shit. Even more since that's a pretty unknown brand.
Save up 900 rupees more and get this instead.
