1. Drop Stop - The Original Patented Car Seat Gap Filler (AS SEEN ON Shark Tank) - Set of 2
- Drop Stop provides 100% Gap Coverage in front of, surrounding and behind seat belt catch. Drop Stop attaches to the seat belt catch via built in slot; moves with the seat and no need to readjust or reinstall.
- As Seen on Shark Tank, Drop Stop blocks that annoying yet ever so dangerous gap between your car or truck seat and center console.
- Drop Stop is the Original and Patented Seat Gap Filler. Drop Stop will never fall apart and lasts a lifetime.
- Each package comes with 2 Drop Stops (1 for the driver side and 1 for the passenger side; universal fit). You also get two bonus gifts; a Slide Free Pad and an LED Credit Card Light.
- One size fits most vehicles. High Grade Neoprene casing allows Drop Stop to contract or expand to whatever size gap you have. One color blends all. The Gap is always a dark shadow so once you install Drop Stop, you won't know it's there until it Stops the Drop.

10. Samsonite SA5243 - Ergonomic Lumbar Support Pillow - Elevates Lower Back Comfort - 100% Pure Memory Foam - Use in Car or Office Chair - Fits Most Seats - Breathable Mesh - Washable Cover
- ADJUSTABLE STRAP - If it doesn’t fit your seat, move the slider buckle towards the click buckle. An adjustable chair strap built in to this lumbar cushion makes installation a simple, one-step process. Don’t worry about the cushion quickly slipping out of place - even over the roughest of terrain, this strap can keep the cushion at the exact angle and height needed. The strap is a universal fit, with the ability to adjust the length as needed, no matter where you need to sit with a lumbar support cushion.
- SUPPORTIVE - Our lumbar support pillow could help alleviate the discomfort associated with lower back soreness, injury, chronic condition, or simply add a little more support for those who sit for long periods at work or drive hours-long distances. Its ergonomic design, high-grade memory foam , and firm support are all designed to gently hold you in the correct position, alleviating pressure and stress on this sensitive area of the body.
- HIGH-GRADE MEMORY FOAM - Firm yet comfortable, the pillow’s supportive memory foam holds your lower back in the right posture. Unlike other traditional pillows or cushions that slip and fall out of place or with insides that move around, the memory foam stays put, cradling both sides of your spine without feeling rock-hard. The memory foam is ideal for all-day use, whether driving in the car, sitting at your desk, traveling on a plane, or simply hanging out at home.
- ERGONOMIC DESIGN - Samsonite’s Lumbar Support Back Pillow follows the curve of your body, for a comfortable hold that fits and feels natural. The ergonomic design gently guides your body into a position which helps to reduce strain on your lower back. The pillow’s ability to improve your poster also encourages circulation, which helps to further relieve pressure or pain experienced in your lower back. It’s well-padded with memory foam, too, for comfortable day-long use. Measures 13.5” x 14” x 4.5”.
- VERSATILE INSTALLATION - This back pillow goes wherever you need extra lumbar support. It can be installed quickly with the easy-to-use and adjustable one-clip belt. Simply wrap the straps around the back of whatever seat you’re in and click the strap closed. Disassembly is just as easy. Samsonite’s Lumbar Support Back Pillow is lightweight, too, ideal for easy transport. Bring it with you to work, take it with you while traveling in a plane or a rental car, or move it around at home.

fear cuts deeper than swords
1.) Something that is grey. probably the best thing invented.
2.) Something reminiscent of rain. who doesn't like doggy rain jackets? :3
3.) Something food related that is unusual. BACON
4.) Something on your list that is for someone other than yourself. Tell me who it's for and why. this item is something i would like to give to my boyfriend as a gift. he finally got his dream car on the road and we both love Judas priest.
5.) A book I should read! I am an avid reader, so take your best shot and tell me why I need to read it! this book is a classic. if you have seen the movie then the book is even better. along with my grandparents being back round actors in the original movie. look the book, love the movies.
6.) An item that is less than a dollar, including shipping... that is not jewelry, nail polish, and or hair related! cause its "cheap stuff"
7.) Something related to cats. I love cats! i would never get bored with this. or tiss on my wishlist :3
8.) Something that is not useful, but so beautiful you must have it. it's useless to me because i don't drink, but it's cool as fuck. (on wishlist, for my sister)
9.) A movie everyone should watch at least once in their life. Why? I loved this movie when i first watched it. it's interesting, keeps you watching and it doesnt start out boring like most "scary movies" do. it's a movie i would suggest to all. (on wishlist)
10.) Something that would be useful when the zombies attack. it explains itself.. but you can hold a lot of stuff while out hunting zombies!
11.) Something that would have a profound impact on your life and help you to achieve your current goals. my mother is a nail tech and i want to go to school as one so i can become one as well. this would help me become better at doing nails while i 'practice' on people.
12.) One of those pesky Add-On items. do you want a stinky toilet?
13.) The most expensive thing on your list. Your dream item. Why? i've always been a huge fan of sugar skulls and i would love this in my room. it's not a dream item but it is the highest priced item on my wishlist. i think it's beautiful.
14.) Something bigger than a bread box. on my wishlist. isn't it pretty? :)
15.) Something smaller than a golf ball. on my wishlist. " a golf ball weighs no more than 1.620 oz (45.93 grams), has a diameter not less than 1.680 in (42.67 mm)" my item is 1.25 in.
16.) Something that smells wonderful. i'm native american so i enjoy burning incense and sage. don't know about you, but it's a wonderful thing to me.
17.) A (SFW) toy. who doesn't like laser pointers? dog people. thats who.
18.) Something that would be helpful for going back to school. fuck, i'm 17 and i'd buy this for myself!
19.) Something related to your current obsession, whatever that may be. i'm obsessed with Judas Priest, as well as my boyfriend. i need to knew sweatshirt and i've been trying to convince my parents to get me this one. Turbo Love by Judas Priest is my boyfriend and I's song to each other, he just got his car on the road so his license plate is dedicated to that song. (wishlist item)
20.) Something that is just so amazing and awe-inspiring that I simply must see it. Explain why it is so grand. you may not think this is so amazing, but holy shit who wouldn't want to fucking float on a donut? i mean paint yourself yellow and just call yourself mothafuckinnn homer simpson! or this you'd have the best skinny dip of your life!
this was really fun! thank you :)
I apologize in advance for this long post. None of these are "must gets", but they are what I got for my 2016 Premium forester. I'm posting this for my own future reference as well as to help some people who are wondering what accessories might be good for their new forester. I highly recommend ordering from Jackie from Annapolis Subaru @ 443-837-1422 as she can get you some good prices on the subaru accessories as well as WeatherTech products! I saved on WeatherTech shipping costs (~$20) by ordering through Jackie and the warranty is the same as if I had bought them through their website.
Please note that some of these accessory links are for my specific car year, model and configuration. I have a 2016 Premium forester without eyesight (affects the Covercraft/heatshield sunshade - they also have eyesight compatible sunshades!).
Also, I personally didn't get my windows tinted, but I think that is something that you should seriously consider doing :)

There are 3 different connectors that you'll have to hook up to the connector that comes with the head unit that plugs into the head unit itself. The other 3 connectors are VERY easy to install. 0 electrical engineering education, but common sense and the color coded instructions on the back of the packaging explains all you need to know.
Radio Antenna harness
Main connection (two main connectors that came out of the factory head unit)
USB Connector (if your car came with usb at the bottom right of the center console)
Should mention that the stock AUX connection won't function. You will have to run an extension from the back of the head unit to somewhere in your car. I routed mine to the left side of the passenger seat held up by this thing.
I don't use the microphone for bluetooth so that's not connected. I don't plan on using my head unit for displaying for any video sources so I didn't bother hooking up the hand brake bypass. The GPS antenna I just stuck to some metal plate that was inside the head unit cavity (pretty strong magnet and pretty accurate).
You may want to pick up a bracket like this. to fill in the rest of the head unit cavity along the sides. I'm not too sure if this is the exact one for the head unit. Crutchfield automatically told me what parts I would need to completely setup the head unit including the bracket and connectors. I couldn't find yours on the site so I can't tell you exactly which bracket to get. They're both Pioneer head units so it's worth a try. The bracket is a generic bracket made for most Toyota cavities to support double DIN sized head units. I had to do some slight Dremel work to get everything to line up with the stock mounting bracket. A solid afternoon with everything and I was set by the end of the day.
I had to contact OEM Audio Plus about how to get power to their amplifier because they have a replacement harness for the stock harness. But that's information that doesn't pertain to you unless you own their system with a subwoofer.
Tl;dr: Links 1-3 are what you need to connect everything. Link 4 is some random accessory I bought that happened to work things out. Link 5 is a bracket adapter to the stock bracket. Last link is the site that showed me all the stuff I needed and I just looked them all up on Amazon.
Look at Cobb tuning for performance modifications, if your tight on money a stage 1 tune is plenty for most and it's honestly how the car should've came in the first place. It costs about 675 for a access port and an air filter. Cobb's biggest competitor is APR which is slightly pricier with a bit more, but the accessport is really unbeatable because you can flash your ECU yourself and do everything yourself. Couple aesthetics i would consider is something like the Mk7 side wings
http://www.ebay.com/itm/141060504693
I also got these from amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Rupse-2PCS-Seat-Wrench-Insert/dp/B0094A6UUQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474337528&sr=8-1&keywords=GTI
Makes entering the car feel a little bit better. This is my advice to you if you want to spend 1k or less. honestly the cobb accessport is a godsend and everyone should have one lol
Haha! Awesome thanks so much. You can order direct from our website. We'll be finding our way to retail very shortly and we'll let y'all know.
You can also order from Amazon and QVC, but right now our site has a free shipping code up for a Shark Tank promo...it's scheduled to be removed at 1pm PST. However if you don't get to ordering before then, just PM us for a free shipping code and we'll create one just for you ;-)
The badgeskins (http://www.badgeskins.com/) look pretty awesome and are cheap and easy. Also the GTI seat handle inserts look awesome and are easy, something like:
http://www.amazon.com/Rupse-2PCS-Seat-Wrench-Insert/dp/B0094A6UUQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1412738478&sr=8-2&keywords=gti+seat+handle
I thought there were leather, but leatherette $113 Amazon (sale)
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B074Z87DCG
Easy to install 2pc per seat. I do use ArmorAll on it and it keeps it nice.
Because it matches the car, many people think it came with the car. Been happy with them. Yes, the heated seats still work, in case anyone asks.
You're welcome.
I was confused as to the seat as well. Balance is very important on these rigs, and you want to go as light as possible. The first seat I bought was close to 40 pounds, but I replaced it with a much lighter seat here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LEONACA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This seat is about 20 pounds, and is quite comfortable.
Other seats (especially seats like the NLR seat) aren't particularly light because they usually are mounted to static rigs, where weight doesn't matter. You want to go as light possible.
Hope that helps!
OP, some accessories I'd recommend:
Thank you! No problem, happy to share! They're leather seat covers by a company called FH group (Amazon Link). They're a little pricier than regular seat covers but well worth it, they look and fit great!
Do you have the "Monster Mats"?
Seat handle inserts are a really nice touch to the interior, but idk why these are $30. Pretty sure I paid like $12 4 or 5 years ago.
Enjoy your new GTI!

There ya go! Pretty comfy and a pretty good fit for my seats, I don’t use the wheel or seatbelt covers, but the person I gave them to said they help on a cold day to keep the wheel pretty warm
I found the horn to be way too wimpy so I replaced the stock one with this PIAA pair.
I also didn't want to screw my plates straight through the front bumper or directly against the back bumper so I put on license plate brackets that I think make it look much nicer.
I took the advice from a bunch of folks on the subaruoutback.org forums and put in a new 19mm sway bar. It was a pretty easy install, but honestly I can't tell if the drive is better or it's just a placebo effect.
Then just a couple of simple quality of life things just because:
your best bet might be to post on the the gaming forums and describe your situation. i went to walmart and bought this chair and i love it. i gained 120 pounds so my old chairs gas pump fell through the base and was riding on the floor lol. so i found this chair that supports up to 400 pounds. i can say my back doesnt hurt and i really like it. it is stiffer than most so you cant recline as easily you will actually have to use your legs to push the backrest to lean back. but its comfortable, supports my 320 pounds, and doesnt make my back hurt after gaming for a while like my old chair. i used to feel exhausted after gaming because my back would hurt( since my old chair broke i was using a hard dining room chair) never again! this chair should last forever since ill never reach 400 pounds. you might want to go to your local walmart and try it out.

i also use this lumbar support cushion, this is the same one i have by samsonite.

There’s not much you can do to prepare your buttocks other than preparing your subconscious. I hope you have a wonderful trip this weekend and take plenty of pictures to share. I’ve purchased this and it does help.
Zone Tech Double Strung Wooden Beaded Ultra Comfort Massaging Seat Cover - Classic Black Premium Quality Massaging Car Seat Cover for Stress Free all https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HFI6EGS?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Get a set of car seat beads like these.
Sure they look tacky, but they're effective in creating a gap between you and your seat allowing the back half of you to "vent".
They're not AC, but they help a lot.
I have the Aries Seat Defender, would highly recommend it.
https://www.amazon.com/Aries-Automotive-3142-09-Universal-Bucket/dp/B009M0S4U2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503515191&sr=8-1&keywords=aries+seat+defender
It's pretty basic, hooks over the headrest and just lays on the seat, rubbery underside and canvas-y top side. It's totally waterproof, doesn't stink even though I've never washed it. I bought mine 4 years ago, and still looks new and works great. 10/10 in my book.
1000% recommend the heated seat/plug-in seat warmer. I have one similar to this that my husband got me for Christmas and it helps SO much with my stiffness and soreness on my commute. It actually makes me not dread getting in the car anymore. I hope you find something that helps you!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0094A6UUQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Those are the ones I have, they look fantastic. Perfect fit and high quality materials
I wouldn't use a propane heater, I had more space than you in a RAV4 and didn't do it because it's such a fire hazard in a car. You need at least 3 feet of space between you, your belongings, parts of the car, and the heater so it doesn't melt or catch things on fire. Also in an uninsulated environment with lots of windows like a car the heat dissipates quickly, leaving you with all the moisture it puts out and not very warm unless you're sitting right in front of it.
I would suggest slapping some universal seat heaters on your mattress/sleeping pad, they are really easy to wire into your car using a simple fuse tap and have an on/off switch. You can switch them on to toast up your bed while you drive to your sleeping location and then it will be super nice and warm when you climb in, plus no extra moisture getting things cold, clammy, and creating condensation. You only have to be careful not to leave them on so they don't wear down your battery.

I have 2 kids and a CX5. Here are my recommendations:
VERY inexpensive all weather mats that cover well with some trimming required: (still amazed at how inexpensive these are given they also come with a cargo mat and they work great) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XQD4T9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Seat backings (your kid(s) will kick your back seats with their dirty feet!)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7AIRYD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1
I like these because they don't sag like some other ones I've used
For seat protectors, I use these but honestly I used a towel for years in my old cx5 and benz and that worked fine too. Because of the seat backings I have, I don't even use the pouch on this thing
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008J3UD2U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s04?ie=UTF8&psc=1
lastly, some turtle wax spray for cleaning/protecting
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071JDM1H8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Hopefully the dealership cleaned the wheels well. I'd suggest cleaning them again and putting a sealant or wheel wax on the barrel of the wheels to aid in keeping them clean. The brakes on BMWs throw a lot of dust.
A quick interior detailer is a big time saver as the wood trim on the inside picks up fingerprints pretty quick.
I have two guzzler drying towels and sometimes that isn't enough for the vehicle, picking up a 3rd when they're on sale.
Get an in-car trash can. This one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000ETQMIQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1373031061&sr=8-1&pi=SL75 fits behind the center console well.
Also get some drop stops http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BYH6C1E/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1373031227&sr=8-1&pi=SL75 since the gap between the seat and console is hungry.
My X5M is black exterior, black leather, black piano trim and a fingerprint magnet.
NRG Innovations FRP-301 Race Style Bolster/Lumbar Bucket Seat (Large) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LEONACA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JCEZDbAV7B9TC
Really good full rigid racing seat for us big guys. Nice and wide. Would never put it in a real car, but for SimRacing it’s perfect!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HZ7C85Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It is a full reupholstery of your seats. Great for the price and fitment is perfect.
Try using a percussion massager in the affected areas. You can usually get one on amazon for around $30. You can also use a car seat massager with heater that can be used in the car and also while lying down of sitting on the couch or chair. Tylenol doesn't work so great for back pain so try aleve.
A couple suggestions:

Use them as often as possible, as it will help relax the muscles. If he doesn't have one already, he should think about using a back brace at work.
Good luck and take care of yourselves.
Warm drinks, fleece lined leggings under pants or compression leggings with leg warmers over heavy socks, and slippers!
At work, I switched out my space heater that was making the air too dry for a seat warmer and it is the best thing ever.
Waterproof car seat cover: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KNWU37O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.mGDCbNBT56JK
Machine washable, super easy to put on or take off the seat.
I also second with getting mosnter mats and interior LEDs, huge difference
Other mods I have for the list are:
•Illuminated shift knob - color matched to interior red lighting and dims with the dimmer switch (not sure if you have stick or DSG but have a spare for sale)
•Double Apex USB Charger - OEM + look to fill dummy ports, very easy install
•GTI seat inserts ($30 off amazon) https://www.amazon.com/Gizmo-Supply-2PCS-Wrench-Insert/dp/B0094A6UUQ
•Toe-Hook License frame mount (if you're in a state that requires a front plate)
I've got them too! Perfect fit for the Mk6 for under $10:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0094A6UUQ
I’m not sure what vehicle you drive so this probably isn’t compatible, but it works great in my jeep. Maybe you can find something similar that fits your model. https://www.amazon.com/Bestop-42640-01-HighRock-2007-2018-2011-2018/dp/B004BWU8H8
I fell in love with this car seat cover! It's more towel-like in texture which was hard to find (I didn't like microfiber or more plastic-y stuff). I bought 3 and wash and dry mine every few classes.

I was in a similar situation to yours. I have a maxnomic chair comparable to DXracer. I found the included pillows terrible. I tried multiple lumbar supports with no relief. What finally worked was a samsonite lumbar support I found at costco (little more expensive on amazon) because it had more squish to it. When I use this one, my shoulders/head don't make contact and I'm able to play FPS games for hours at a time without pain.
https://www.amazon.com/Samsonite-SA5243-Lumbar-Support-Cushion/dp/B072K59NYZ
This seems to be the one. It was $10 at costco (I plan on going back for an additional for work)
Also, with my maxnomic my feet weren't planted on the ground properly. Consider trying some form of foot rest if that is the case for you.
I bought this kit last winter for my wife's civic. It wasn't too bad to install but not something I would really enjoy doing again.
Well, while looking for that other link since I couldn't think of the name, I did find this which is just a padded gel Seat Cushion, though I imagine you'd want to find one way less expensive since 100 bucks seems like a bit much.
Edit: Here's a memory foam one for 25 bucks, says it's a car cushion but it's just a thing you put under your butt so I can't see any reason why you couldn't use it at something like a sports stadium (Those bench seats man...) or on a plane.
I just saved your life. You're welcome.
Yeah it can be hard to find sometimes. Another thing you could look into is getting new upholstery for your seats. For a whole I've thought about getting this kit. Seems to be priced well and it looks nice in all of the customer pictures.
Get this:
I ordered for Christmas and likely because of Amazons holiday hiring of newbies, I ended up with two. They said it wasn’t worth sending back to just keep it! Now both vehicles protected.

I would skip the CAI then, you go from “sure, I’ll give offroading a shot” to getting into some heavy trails real quick.. Trust me.
The upside to upgrading to that sub is to move the subwoofer to a spot that is rarely used and then utilize the prime real estate of the factory subwoofer (heck there might be a subwoofer box delete kit to totally free that space up).
Other ideas I’d like to do but can’t at the moment: cargo slide, under seat locked storage, drop down tailgate table.
The following is cheap and adds a nice touch. You could probably find it cheaper btw, I just linked the first one I found. I got mine for like $6 shipped.
https://www.amazon.com/Rupse-2PCS-Seat-Wrench-Insert/dp/B0094A6UUQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474503079&sr=8-1&keywords=gti+seat+insert

I got these a couple weeks ago and I'm impressed with the very OEM look and fit.
I don't have the door sill inserts like OP, but that may change soon, they look sharp! Here's a link to what I assume OP has installed: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0091DGUK6?cache=ee8e7965740a924ef8153dbd4100ec28&pi=SY200_QL40&qid=1406018045&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1

A sheepskin works well too.
I got some Jamaican Beads for this season, and they've done a lot to help keep my seat dry on hot, humid days. Makes riding long distances much more comfortable. Only $10 at Wal-Mart.
Other than that, I just stop every 50 miles and pour a water bottle over my head.
I have one and it works. Amazing invention.

Like I said in the post it should fit better on '95 and older. It looks like the bottom seat cushion changed in '96 so it wasn't a perfect fit but I made it work.
I also needed to pick up some hog rings and pliers:
Drake Off Road PLIERSET-P Professional Hog Ring Upholstery Installation Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FS0WFAA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_DTU7wbKQEXQ9W

They also have a tan version. I've had mine for about 15k miles. These seat covers are very nice and I think the Amazon's reviews reflect that.
I have 7 and 2 yo daughters. The 2 yo is in a car seat and the 7 yo in a booster seat. I bought the kick mats and car seat protector for both seats. Bought these for my wife’s Hyundai Ioniq and my Model 3. The seat protectors help keep the car seat from making indentions in the seats.

Nice, I've seen those ones in there actually! I wasn't sure how they would hold; I'm always skeptical of seat covers that don't slide over the whole seat. I might give them a try, got a small rip in drivers side seat.
Backup plan is to get a new set of 60/40s from the scrap yard, put some aftermarket seat heaters in, and call it all new!

When I take my Spitfire on long drives I use a beaded seat cover. It allows air to circulate between me and the seat. That keeps my back from sweating and making me wet. I think they are ugly as sin, but it's comfortable.

I used this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004BWU8H8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_fs8QCb0S9HNDT for years in my wrangler. You’d have to have a vehicle with significant space under the seat
You should invest in a couple of these. The couple of bucks has been worth the frustration it's saved me from not having to dig my phone or change out from between the seats and console I don't know how many times in the year or so since I've had them.

Pro Tip: get these people, saved my ass multiple times
Not wired in yet. There's a few ways you can DIY it however. You can go to a junkyard and try to find some ZJ or XJ seats that have seat heaters in them (the XJ came with heated seats in the limited edition on 97-01 models), you can purchase a DIY kit from Amazon (you can also take your seats to an upholster and have them install it for you) or you can purchase new seats with heaters built-in from PRP or Corbeau.
Depending on the style you get, you may need a switch that has an ON/OFF/ON setup for low/high seat heating.
LPT: have an extraction plan for vehicles where that is really effing hard.

This is what I use on my car. I never have hot seat problem or sweaty bottom any more. It's a staple of taxi drivers in humid climates. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000EEU0IO/
You can buy pleather replacement seat covers on amazon for $100. It looks fairly DIY and the pictures from reviewers actually look really good. Probably won't be the greatest quality and durability, but for $100 it's hard to argue.
Going to order them for myself. Here's the link.

Also, these seat lever inlays should have been installed at the factory. There's even an indention for them: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0094A6UUQ/

Outside of a new (to you) car purchase the closest thing I've seen to one is what cabbies have been using forever to mitigate swamp ass.

Drop Stop - as seen on Shark Tank. Prevents stuff from falling between the seats. http://www.amazon.com/Drop-Stop-Original-Patented-Filler/dp/B00BYH6C1E
My 2004 base has the cloth seats, but when I used to drive a 93 cavalier z24 with white pleather seats, they were pretty horrible when driving top down in the sun. I feel you, my back sweat was horribly embarrassing.
I was mostly able to fix the problem with those thick bead seat covers, as they put a little bit more air room between you and the leather. Something like this:

Good luck!
I tried these first, and hated them:

I saw this on Sharktank a while ago and I remember thinking, "who the fuck would buy this?"
I guess I underestimated the market.
